Tried to change address. Googled it and clicked on first link. It looks super official but will charge you 80 dollars without warning. My mail kept going to my old home address. Called the number and they offered to only charge 20 dollars and asked me to "not call my credit card company". After hearing that I immediately called my credit card company. I then had it disputed because my mail was STILL going to my old address, which shows they can't even scam right. The one good thing about this "company" is they will refund your money very easily if you complain, probably because they know that any probe will shut them down.

Terrible company. My mother, 73 years old, tried to do an address change with ***. Came to this website and read *** in several places. Paid $79 and then did not receive any follow-up emails. I followed up with her and discovered it was not *** but a scam. What a mean way to make money off the vulnerable for a service that really isn’t offering anything the post office doesn’t. Hoping to get a full refund. Website is unclear about process and fees.

This site comes up on the top of search and charges 79$ for an address change which could be done by a nominal 1$ fee via usps. The site doesn’t show any kind of confirmation or indicates anywhere upfront that there is 79$ charge. This is fraud and false advertising, looking for full refund, even if you call customer care they just refund 50% of the amount which is unfair.

This is a scam website that is disguised to be the *** change address platform. No mention of price. Total scam and should be taken down.

Actually, I give it zero stars! I went to change the address for someone else and click this third party link which I didn't realize due to it comes up just like the usps that only charges $1. I go through the process of changing the address and put in my card info and then comes out $79.98 out of my account. So I email them and they only agree to refund me half of what they took, which I don't know why because they surely didn't do $40 worth of work but in return I emailed them once again with a nice but nasty email about themselves. I seen nowhere on the site that it charged any amount so I just assumed it was the $1 fee. And then they tell you about all the other "services" they do for you, which all are free for you to do yourself, and charge you for those somewhere within the money they steal from you! THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM! I feel bad for the employees who work for this company, if they will do us like this just imagine how they are getting scammed just by working for them!

Absolutely unconscionable! Complete scam. They've clearly designed their website to look like you're accessing the post office change of address site and make it clear that changing your address costs $1.05. Then you open your credit card statement and it's $79.95. What a crock! I called and they did refund the bulk of the fee after offering to keep everything for a 50% reduction. This company needs to be shut down.

Phone number listed on this site is for a third party company, ending in 9592. Don't bother calling the agent had to ask me how much I was charged. The person I spoke was unable to locate anything regarding my information. Calling the main line 4985 didn't get me anywhere, either.

I resorted to calling my bank since I wasn't able to reach a representative for this so-called company. My bank representative recognized this company, which I think speaks to the level of "service" changemyaddress.org provides.

I did my change of address through the post office online. Never once went to this site. I opened my account at my new bank a couple weeks ago and nobody on this site should have my information. They have somehow gotten my banking information and taken almost $80 out of my account. That is 100% illegal and I want to know how it is possible.

This website is a total scam. I went to change my address and accidentally ended up on this site. They charge $79.99 to change your address and add you to the do-not-call list. The do-not-call list is FREE. I called to dispute and they said "we already added you to the list and provided you with discounts so all we can do is offer a 50% refund." I can't believe I fell for this, Do not use this site. The postal service website is the best place to change your address and it only costs a dollar.

I went to change my address, and went to changemyaddress.org and didn’t realize because they never once informed me that I would be charged 79.95 for my address change. They ask for credit card information and never once informed me of the price.

I searched "USPS address change" after moving and this popped up first. Without realizing it wasn't affiliated with the government, I went through their steps and put in to change my address. They took my card, but nowhere visible did they say how much it would cost. Later on I realized that they weren't the USPS at all, and I checked the USPS's website to find that changing my address is a $1.05 affair requiring very few steps. Changemyaddress had charged me 80 dollars. I called their line to cancel the charge because, well, that's absolutely absurd, and it took me 15 minutes of menus where an automated voice tried very hard to keep my business before I could cancel it.

This is an example of the very worst kind of business, predatory, exploitative, and doing little to nothing for you. They asked for more of my info than the USPS did, and took longer. I can only speculate as to where that info has gone now. They upcharge you 79 dollars to type some stuff into the USPS website. The absolute gall of it has me floored.

Went to change e address on what I THOUGHT was the *** site. A day later I see a charge for $79.95 in my account. This is a scam and is NOT the *** site!!!

As many of you mentioned, I also clicked the first “change address” website on *** which was this third party company. After I filled out all the confidential information, I saw the $79.95 charge on my bank account. There was no information stated about the charge on their website. I found it very odd and searched the website.. and I found out it was a costly fraud. This is extremely upsetting, and I would like a full refund.

I was tricked into filling out my change of address on the first link that popped-up in my *** search to change my address. What I thought should be a breeze just cost me $79.95. They pulled it immediately.

I was WRONGLY charged $60.00. I did not authorize the charge and had no clue I would be charged. I want my money back. This is fraud. I talked to an agent who basically stated it was a scam when asked. I can get my addressed changed at the postal office for FREE. This is crappy business. I just wonder how many of their people were scammed and unfortunately didn’t know it.

I changed my address online and I think that the company website is purposely misleading because I was under the assumption that I was using the *** website to change my address. When confirming the payment amount there wasn't a final total, I assumed it would be $1.08 (the cost the *** charges for its service). But was actually charged $79.95. When calling to receive that refund they told me it was already processed and I received a partial refund of $39.98. This company uses shady tactics in the amount you are being charged.

ChangeMyAddress.org poses as a site offering a *** service that normally costs $1 and knowingly conceals the fact that they are charging you $60 (doesn't announce it clearly on site, no confirmation of purchase email, vague charge on card, etc.) for it. I am not aware that they even submitted a change of address. This is a pattern of scamming and abuse on their part that I am now aware of after looking into it but it is absolutely unacceptable to conduct business in this manner and prey upon people's trust to leech out their money.

The website passes itself off as a legitimate location to change your address. It is very similar to the *** change of address form and even mentions the $1 fee that the *** charges for address changes. As soon as you click submit, the company charges you $79.95. No where one the site or other information does it mention this fee. I called them immediately after clicking submit to cancel the order but they have already processed it. After telling them multiple times to cancel and that I want a refund, they gave me $70 back that will process in 4-5 days. This practice is unethical and very deceiving as it is the first link to generate when you search for address change.

I wanted to change my address. I clicked the first website on google which was this company. I filled everything out and submitted. They didn't have anything on their site stated how much it would cost. Then I saw a $59.95 charge on my statement the same day. I canceled immediately as it seemed extremely suspicious. They still took money out of my bank account 3 days later anyway. I asked for a refund via email with no response. I used the confirmation number they gave me and checked with *** to verify it was canceled which it said it was. It has been 2 weeks since I initially cancelled and I still do not have my money back. I called their company to see what was taking so long and they stated they can't find the card that was used and still no refund.

I wanted to change an address of a former tenant. I used the service unaware that it was a third party service. They charged me an outrageous fee of $79 when the actual fee online is $1!!!!!! THIS WEBSITE IS A SCAM AND SHOULD BE TAKEN DOWN.
