If I could give minus stars, I would. I thought I was changing my address with the ***. when I was finished entering in my information, the website prompted me to enter my 3 digit code 3 times. I thought something was a little hinky, but chocked up to "user error." My bank called me with suspicious activity on my account. They charged me 3 times! I thought my credit card information was compromised and that someone out in the ethers had my cc information. To sum it up, my bank refunded me all the money that was withdrawn and I ordered a new card. Really sneaky "business" and I use that term very lightly.

This is complete ***. It is a scam. NO WHERE is it posted that there is a fee, except the $1 processing fee. They are stealing your money. DO NOT do it through here .

Misleading website. Charged wrong amount. No where during the process does it state a charge other than $1.05. I thought I was on the United States Postal Service website changing my address, not a service that does this for you. Very misleading.

I filled out a Change if Address form with changemyaddress.org and cancelled IMMEDIATELY after I received a $40 fee. I got the email confirmation that it was cancelled and after a week, checked on my refund. They said at that point that it takes 14 business days to process a check, so I waited a MONTH and asked again. They said it was still processing and to wait another 14 days. I checked back a third time and they said that it was stuck in processing but they would mail out a new one. I have yet to hear anything else or see a refund check in the mail and this has been since the first part of December 2019!

I recently opted to change my address with the *** which took me to this site and my understanding is the fee would be $1 and I was charged $79.95 and I would of NEVER opted for this! I feel like I was rerouted fraudulently and I need this credited back to me ASAP!

I changed my address and was under the impression that it would only charge me the $1 something fee. My girlfriend then changed her address, expecting the same fee. When I checked my bank account it said that I was charged $80. I did not see this fee posted anywhere.

This is actually a big fat 0 star rating. They are scammung lying Thieves and straightout con people out of $79, then they deny they did anything wrong when you talk to the customer service & they act like They are amgry at the Customer for some reason for wanting Our $79 they stole back. Then after multiple times of them getting sy with me they couldnt tell me when I would get my money back,,its been two days since and my $79 is still not back in my account..

I did not realize rhat this was not a credible website to change my address. They charged my $80 and will not return my emails, texts or phone calls. I do not want their service's, but I do need my money back as soon as possible. I looked up reviews online and apparently it has been a scam for awhile. I just need to find a way to get my money back, because I do not have much in my account due my business closing from the covid-19 virus.

I went to what I thought was the *** to change my address. Everything went well until I checked my account to verify the dollar taken out. I was charged $79.95! There was NO warning about any charge like this. I want my account refunded.

This website attempts to mirror *** moving and change of address services and works to appear as a feeder group. They do not show billing costs except in fine print at the bottom of the web page after you have submitted personal information including billing and credit cards. Luckily my bank flagged this as an unauthorized transaction but I want to report false, misleading and deliberate use of structure to bill customers in the amount of $1.05 and then an undisclosed 79.95 for "moving services". Shame on you all as a company for making a move that's already complicated more so by having to dispute charges never authorized and trying to function as an unneeded intermediary for a government service and ***.

I was under the impression that changemyaddress.org was going to charge me $1.95 to change my address. Instead I get a charge on my credit card for $79.95. I attempted to contact the company with the number they provided several times, to cancel my request, but the number never went to a customer service representative. It kept offering me services that I did not need. Contacted my bank, but they can’t stop a fraudulent charge until after it happens.

I needed to chamge my address with *** and this website said it would do it. I didn’t notice it wasn’t a third party website since it looks alike the *** page/process for this. It requested my information like old address and new address and credit card info. Once all that was put in my card was charged $49.95. I called the number for a refund simce their terms and conditions offer “a no questions asked refund” and they asked for an order no. Which the “email confirmation” received does not include. The lady then asked the amount charged on my card and then said it wasn’t them because that’s not what they charge. She recommended that I called my bank and got a phone number from the merchant, directly from my bank.

Change My Address charged me 80 dollars for a service they said would only cost $1. I simply wanted my mailing address changed, I dont need additional services! I will be calling my bank to see this charge is denied. If a refund isnt given. I will not pay 80 dollars for this. If it had been the original dollar or two I had thought, it would be okay. Went to go change my address on the *** site. This site popped up posing as ***. Did not provide any information up front regarding costs. Only after checking bank account did I notice they charged my card 79.99 for an illegitimate service. I'm asking for a full refund for a website that is still popping up and able to scam so many of us for claiming they provide a service and claim to be connected to an official government website.

This company charged me $79.99 and all they said they would charge was a dollar to verify my card!
I emailed them as soon as the order went through and I saw how much they charge so they could cancel the transaction and issue me a refund but they never replied to the email!!!! I want my money back!

I was initially charged fee$79.95 on march 16, 2020--- I called to get my 100% satisfaction refund. they said they would refund it and cancel my account but charged me another $104.80. I have called several times to clear this but I have not had any results and no explanation why I was charged more or what the charge is. I asked to speak to a manager but there is never anyone there.

This is a scam.
I have changed my address directly with *** so many times. This time I clicked the link that looked like *** and was working so I wasn't as careful to verify. The website looks like *** but isn't and AT NO POINT MENTIONED the $79.95 charge that would go to my credit card. A BIG difference between that and the $1.00 for the post office verification charge.
Ridiculous pricing, but more importantly, there is NO FEE LISTED at all on the site that reflects this price.
I am not the first person to complain about it and it has not changed. I will be calling for a refund today and have not yet found out how it will go.

I *** how to change my address, the website popped up and I clicked on it assuming that it was the ***. When you complete the form you don't realize that you are not on the ***. I didn't know that I would be paying $79.95 for this change until I checked my bank account the next day and saw the charge. I feel that this is a misrepresentation of who they are and the fees that they charge. Who would pay that amount of money to change their address since I have now found out that if I had been on the *** site, as I thought I was, it would have only cost me $1.05.

I searched *** address change in *** and this was the first thing thing that popped up. Went through and typed my new and old addresses. I believed I was at the *** site. It asked for my credit card information at the end which I input knowing the *** charges $1 for the address change to be instant. I looked on my bank account the next day and was charged $79.95. I was appalled. Never at any point was there anything saying I was being charged $79.95. I called the company and spoke with someone. He said he just worked at a call center that works for the company. I explained the situation and said I wanted my money back. At first he said it was too late they had already went through with my address change. I told him that was a lie I had not filled the information out until 7:30 on a Friday night abd this was Saturday morning after 10 minutes of him trying to sell me on this he said he could give me 50% back. I said no you will give me all of it back because I did not authorize taking $79.95 out of my account. Eventually he agreed to only take $1.95 out. But that was also a lie. The full $79.95 was taken out of my account.
