Review: JPMORGAN CHASE BANK, N.A.. Chase stated that they have paperwork on a modification on my currant mortgage, nothing has been provided to me at this time. I have been battling with Chase since the first week of February 2014 and now we are into the second week of June 2014. I have spoken with several call takers advising me that they are unable to produce the alleged modification paperwork. At this time I had to obtain a lawyer.

Product_Or_Service: Mortgage / Chase

Account_Number: [redacted]Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)

I would like a legal document stating that I only have 13 year left on my currant mortgage. This document should be in my possession within 30 days, if I don't have this item I will contact my local news media.

Review: We are currently undergoing a short sale. We have received a request for documents on May 6th, and we provided them within the week. Since then, we contacted the lender over [redacted] and by phone 7 times to find out an update, and each time, no update was provided. Any email requests were completely ignored. When we called in, reps would advise us they would pass along our messages to the assigned case representative, so she can issue us an ATP. She has failed to do so after 3 phone calls over two weeks (not even including the email contact attempts). We just received a foreclosure notice for May 30, 2014. We are in a middle of a short sale, so I am not sure why this is even happening. Chase needs to postpone the foreclosure until the outcome of the short sale is determined. ESPECIALLY with the delays and issues on Chase's end.Desired Settlement: Postpone the foreclosure until the outcome of the short sale is determined. I would also like a phone call.

Review: In July 2009, I entered a trial Loan Modification period with [redacted] Mortgage. I completed the Trial Period in October 2010 and was notified that $1000 would be applied towards the principle each year up to five years. [redacted] was purchased by Chase in 2010. Chase has the documents per a conversation with a representative. Also, Chase noted on my credit report that I'm in a Loan Modification Program. I called Chase on 6/25/2013 to question why $1000 has been applied towards the principle over the past 3 years. The responded that a Loan Modification was never Finalized and will not apply the funds towards the principle. This is the worse form or predatory lending I have ever seen in my life. Chase Loan # [redacted]Desired Settlement: Apply $3000 towards my principle balance as explained during the Loan Modification.

Review: On June 08, 2015, I applied with for a Home Refinance under my Mark [redacted] and my mother's name [redacted]. I was contacted the next day Monday by a representative who transferred me to a Mortgage Banker [redacted]. I was walking in to work so I could not finish the call. I asked Mr. [redacted] if we can speak the next day (Tuesday) and he requested my Mom be on the phone with me. This was the last I heard of Mr. [redacted].. I left multiple messages at [redacted] and also emailed [redacted].[redacted] with no response. I called back in to the main number and the representatives kept transferring me back to Mr. [redacted] with a promise of a call back but still no response. On June 12, 2015 I called and spoke with a [redacted] who promised me a call back and assistance to conference my mother and myself together to start the loan process. Once again no response or call back. It is very disappointing to make the decision to refinance and trust a bank like Chase to assist you only to be ignored. I don't feel comfortable giving all my personal information online only to get no response to my request.Desired Settlement: Since I received absolutely no service from Chase I would like the hard inquiry removed from my Mark [redacted] and my mother's [redacted]'s credit report. This was done on June 08, 2015

Review: I applied for an additional amount on current Home Equity Line of Credit. IT has been over a month and they are making excuses why they can't get my request processed. I will list emails below from bank and you can see all the issues.Hi [redacted],

I just tried calling you again and keeps going straight to voicemail. The UW manager wants to know about the boxes in the living (from the appraisal pictures)?

This and other issues keep arising preventing me from getting loan done. too much too list!!!!Desired Settlement: I would like loan processed and approved immediately and I want a monetary compensation for all the time spent dealing with this issue.

Review: In November 2013 Chase Mortgage, my former mortgage servicer, made an excess property tax payment of $3,406.74 from my escrow account to [redacted] Maryland. According to the county's tax department, this money was returned in a bulk refund transfer in mid-January 2014. Chase confirmed that the refund would be or had been issued by [redacted] only after persistent inquiries on my part. The provided a confirmation letter to this effect on February 26.

I have contacted Chase many times inquiring about the status of my refund, but Chase customer service agents say that they do not have record of the refund from [redacted], but also that such a refund takes 6-8 weeks to process. It has now been 12 weeks and I have not received the refund or heard back from Chase. I escalated the issue to the executive office in mid-March and spoke with [redacted] She told me that even by that time the refund seemed overdue and that she would work to resolve the issue and get back to me by the end of the week. Approximately three weeks later I still have not heard back. [redacted] MD tax parcel [redacted] Chase Mortgage Account #[redacted]Desired Settlement: I wish to receive my refund of $3406.74 immediately. I can confirm both that the money was returned to Chase by [redacted] in January, and that Chase owes me the entirety of that sum. Chase's internal accounting problems should not be my concern.

Review: Chase mortgage payments fell behind due to work furloughs that debtor, [redacted], suffered in late 2012. Request to re-modified mortgage payments was requested. Case Mgr. [redacted] was assigned to review case. After a few calls between Ms[redacted] and [redacted] within the months of April and May, 2013, a decision had been made, according to Ms[redacted], that the payment was to be reduced from $2097.87 (present amount) to $1751.66 eff. June 1, 2013. This call was made by Ms[redacted] on May 17, 2013 and placed by her to the home. The news of the reduction was a joy to hear knowing that relief was considered by Chase. Expenses in the home exceeds by almost triple the amount of the income that comes in. Only one person is employed. Chase is aware of the circumstances. On June 10, 2013, the re-modification papers arrived to confirmed the new amount and the start of the trial payments. However, it was to our surprise that the amount described on papers was not the $1751.66 but that of $2394.28 eff. July 1 2013. On June 11, 2013, Ms[redacted] was contacted about the new amount and she stated that the initial amount given was incorrect because the underwriter was not aware that a previous re-modification that had been done. ?????? She was asked on how can that be? All that information is in system and was never denied. Ms[redacted] was told that we were looking for a reduction and not a increase and ,therefore, we cannot accept the increased amount. It was made clear then and from the beginning we were looking for a reduction and not an increase. The harassment of calls have now begun. [redacted]Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Replacement 1st, we like to see the initial reduction amount of $1751.66 to be applied as the new monthly amount for the duration of balance owed. No forbearance. 2nd, Collection Calls to be at a minimum. We should not suffered for a "supposed" mistake a bank has made. Moreover, it is obvious that a relief from the present amount can be made when an offer to reduce the present amount of $2097.87 to $1751.66 was considered. The excessive expenses in household are clearly re

Review: I was sent a letter to refinance at a lower interest rate. After talking with a representative I was informed that my house value was well over the loan to value ($213K value given from Chase). Based on that information I went ahead with the non refundable appraisal of $605.00. Once completed the appraisal was estimated @ $140K which was no where near Chase's estimate and well below the allowed 75% loan to value. I contacted [redacted] from Chase and he informed me that there was nothing he could do for me. I proceeded to contact his supervisor [redacted] to voice my disappointment and have not received any contact from him since the appraisal was distributed. I then tried to dispute the charge and was informed that the services were rendered, therefore charges were not disputable. I contacted Chase again to both [redacted] and [redacted] by voicemail and email and have received no response from either of the communication attempts. I feel that this practice of hooking people into believing they can refinance is a bad practice with misguiding information. I would not thought twice about proceeding with the appraisal if I was informed of a number that was closer to the actual showing a below 75% loan to value.Desired Settlement: I would like the $605.00 refunded back to my card for an appraisal that I was mis-directed to do. I would not have proceeded with the appraisal if the estimate given by Chase was anywhere near the ballpark of the actual value.

Review: I ran into some financial difficulties that affected my monthly mortgage payments, as a result of being under employedAs a result of this employment event, I fell behind on my paymentsPrior to being laid off, I predicted falling behind may happen and contacted Chase and informed them of my circumstanceI was told there are programs to assist me in preventing foreclosure and other actionsUnfortunately I came to a point where I fell behind and applied for the modification programThe change in my income occurred one year ago and over that time period, I've applied for modification three times and was denied all three timesChase's first reason was that I did not make enough to be placed in a modification agreementAnother time, their reason was that I make too much for a modificationIn my time of dealing with chase, I had interactions with various individuals who lacked knowledge about the modification processI had interactions with individuals who had no idea I had already applied for modificationsIn the end I was left months behind on my mortgage, in default and at risk for foreclosure, despite all efforts to get preventative helpI was left worried and frustrated, feeling there is no help, as if the bailout was for the bank's benefit and not homeownersI was given worthless phone numbers of programs that only advised me to apply for modification with chase I already knew I didn't qualify forFinally, Chase's best solution for me was a repayment planWith this plan I had to put down a lump some amount of over $and an additional close to $to my regular monthly paymentsThis is a tremendous stress for me as I am unable to afford thisI feel Chase lied saying they'll help, was never concerned about me as a customer, and always have the priority of solely collecting their monthly payments by any meansChase has caused tremendous stress in my life, if I had to choose a mortgage company again, I would not pick chase in a million years.Desired Settlement: After a year since that change in my job, I do hold a full time job and can afford my bills againI've managed to catch up on all my bills except for chase mortgageI'm able to make my regular monthly mortgage, but without the extra $(repayment plan which is chase's solution for me)Whenever I'm unable to make that payment in full, I am threatened with foreclosure, late fees and negative credit reportingMost of my check goes to monthly mortgage payments and i'm left scrambling to pay other bills and feed my childrenI make too much for food stampsI would like to get out of my repayment plan and just be able to go back to making regular mortgage payments of $or less and not payments of $

Review: We obtained Chase to do a refi for our home. We paid for the appraisal, NOT Chase and then decided to go with a new lender that offered better terms on our loan. Chase would also not provide a line of credit and only cash out, we wanted a line. We have asked for our appraisal to be transferred, they will not, I have requested a refund and they will not, it was $460 that I now have to pay again.Desired Settlement: A full refund of $460.00 for the appraisal that they will not transfer, it is now worthless.

Review: Chase contracted to complete a mortgage application including an appraisal. I was told that the appraisal would be complete and furnished to me. I paid the appraisal fee and to date have not received an appraisal that was complete. I have been attempting to resolve this issue for several weeks with no success. The appraisal is 'certified' as complete by the appraiser and Chase representatives continue to state it is complete yet it is missing information that is listed as contained therein though the information is not there. I also asked a reasonable question about the appraisal and was continually ignored. In an attempt to resolve this issue I originally posed 4 options for Chase: 1) get the missing information and answers and provide them in writing ASAP; 2) Subrogate their claim so that I may go after the appraiser for the missing /incomplete information; 3) secure a 2nd appraisal at Chase's expense, or; 4) refund the full appraisal fee as a complete appraisal was never furnished. To date Chase has basically ignored all possible resolutions, chose to do nothing and say they 'can't', and changed the terms originally agreed to. I have cancelled my application and gone with another lender.

Chase did not provide a complete and accurate appraisal and changed the terms agreed to for the loan by continuing to increase the interest rate and add points with no justification for the changes after the rate was 'locked in', continued to add points when I clearly and repeatedly stated that I would pay no points - that the rate had to be in the APR with no points; refuse to fix this issue in any of the 4 reasonable ways listed. At minimum, subrogation of the claim would have cost them nothing and allowed me to get the full and complete product I paid for. Since that time Chase has also attempted to change what the $460 was paid for - though on the 'Truth in Lending' statement it clearly states the fee is for an appraisal.Desired Settlement: A full refund of the $460 paid for a service/item that was not received as promised. I am not interested in any of the posed to Chase in earlier attempts to resolve this issue as I have gone to a different lender as I will only do business with companies that have employees that behave ethically and which has a commitment to ethical dealings with all customers.

Review: August 1, 2014

Please credit all of the following Late Fees listed in letter attached/located below to decrease the astronomical Late Fee balance owed.

In order for us to pay off Settlement Balance of ? $680.31 by 08-26-2014, Late Fees need to be deducted, first.

In addition to me being unemployed, economy downsizing, and NOT being able to pay monthly amounts, the main reason we stopped paying Chase for our Home Equity Loan, was due to greedy Chase Bank “transferred” our loan to [redacted], approx. 03/201?.

With our Home Equity Loan “rolled over”, we lost our eligibility to deduct $944+ Interest (as of ? 2011), from our annual Income Taxes. Therefore, we had to pay that extra $944+ Interest in taxes. Somewhere along the way, I think we started paying more Principal than Interest or Interest decreased significantly with our payments.

Two other reasons for not paying Chase Home Equity: 1. Chase insists on charging Late Fees when payments are posted same day they are due, 2. NOT providing us monthly statements with payment addresses on payment vouchers.

WE DID NOT RECEIVE MONTHLY STATEMENTS. JUST WHERE WERE WE SUPPOSED TO MAIL MONTHLY PAYMENTS AFTER DECLARING BANKRUPTCY (Payments previously electronically withdrawn from checking account.)?

WE WERE/ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PAY ONLINE. WE COULD NOT AFFORD TO MAKE TELEPHONE PAYMENTS.

Not allowing us to make any payments at all accelerates undesired foreclosure.

If your software/system can assess Late Payment Fees, on the same token, then your software/system can specify months/dates/years for each Reversal of Late Payments, to avoid further confusion & effort.

Thank you, [redacted] cc: 1. Chase, [redacted]

2. Office of the Comptroller of Currency (OCC), http://www.[redacted]Desired Settlement: Credit all of the following Late Fees listed in letter attached/located below to decrease the astronomical Late Fee balance owed.

Review: Began working with Chase Mortgage in April of 2014 (via R. H_______n). The closing was scheduled for May 30th at that time. The Chase Mortgage broker asked me several times for my credit card so that he could process the appraisal. I refused because of repairs and because we wanted to await approval from the underwriter. Repairs caused the closing to be pushed off until June 27th. The Mortgage broker again asked for payment information for an appraisal. I reluctantly gave it to him on May 20th and he processed a payment although the appraisal had not occurred. We were still awaiting approval and asked to hold off on the actual appraisal. On June 6th, we received an email from the chase loan processor, C. R___s, indicating that the June 27th closing would be tight because it would "take a few weeks" to get the appraisal back. Naturally, we pushed the appraisal ahead due to the nature of this correspondence from chase. As June began to wind down, we inquired about the loan status. Just before closing, we were notified by Chase that the could not authorize a loan in my name before July of 2014 because of a two year self employment rule, which Chase already knew for some time. We also learned that the seller wasn't willing to extend. Mr. H_______n indicated that he was hoping the repairs would delay us until July and that this wouldn't be an issue. In fact, throughout the process, we were continually assured that our numbers came back approved and that we had everything figured out. Needless to say, the deal fell through. Chase dated a denial one day before the closing BUT it was not received by us until two days after the closing. We contacted C. R___s, R. H_______n, and S. S___s in an effort to resolve the matter. R. H_______n has responded by suddenly calling the fee an application fee. Under the duress caused by C. R___s and the assurances of R. H_______n, we authorized an appraisal that we would not have otherwise authorized. To add insult to injury, the appraiser missed an entire half bath.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund in the amount of $515.00USD. Chase misled us with assurances and put us into a coercive situation regarding authorization of this appraisal....which they now claim is an application fee.

Review: JPPMorgan Chase employee offered to help setup up an automatic mortgage payment from our account and informed us that the date upon which the deductions would start from our account was what we had asked of him ([redacted]). We were later informed by the mortgage company that the payment was late and that it never went through. Our mortgage payment went into default and affected our credit history. We contacted the branch and were told that even though the branch employee set this up for us that it was essentially our responsibility to have noticed this mistake from their assistance. Our reason for going to the branch was to get the assistance we needed for something we otherwise could not have done on our own and now have a derogatory mark on our credit history that will not be removed unless the Chase branch reports the mistake made by their employee. The branch has been contacted multiple times in efforts to try and resolve this credit issue and have yet to be contacted. I am a graduate student and these kind of mistakes not only affects my credit but also my future in that I am depending on loans which rely on credit history.Desired Settlement: I would like for the Chase branch involved with this dilemma to please contact me as agreed and help to resolve this issue without giving brief excuses to dismiss the issue. I need the mistake reported to the credit authority and for my credit history to return to what is was before their mistake was made.

Review: After numerous requests over many years of begging Chase to waive / dismiss the PMI -- which they have every authority to do -- Chase refused / denied every request. We have maintained perfect mortgage payment histories for nearly 30 years and did not deserve this unnecessary gouge rate. Finally we have been able to rid ourselves of Chase and can only pray they do not prey on us again by purchasing our new loan. This is yet another formal request to reimburse the full PMI paid over the life of loan #[redacted] approx. $9,240 by estimation.Desired Settlement: After numerous requests over many years of begging Chase to waive / dismiss the PMI -- which they have every authority to do -- Chase refused / denied every request. We have maintained perfect mortgage payment histories for nearly 30 years and did not deserve this unnecessary gouge rate. Finally we have been able to rid ourselves of Chase and can only pray they do not prey on us again by purchasing our new loan. This is yet another formal request to reimburse the full PMI paid over the life of loan [redacted] approx. $9,240 by estimation.

Review: After the closing of my Chase Mortgage refinance there was reportedly a document that was "missing or left out" of the signing package, with full documented knowledge by Chase I had to leave town shortly after signing due to bereavement and estate settling of a sibling. When contacted about the missing or left out document that needed signing, chase was reminded (as they were aware of my pending bereavement departure) that I was out of town and given my return date. With full assurances of multiple levels of involved parties (of which I have full documentation) I was informed that my loan completion would be awaiting my return to complete the missing document(s). Upon returning home, I immediately informed Chase that I was available at anytime to complete the transaction to which I have received no meaningful response and in some contacts, being told the refinance package was no longer valid and that a new full signing may need to be completed, which has not progressed. As of this filing, I have not completed my refinance as promised. Reportedly the title would not be cleared without the "missing" document I did however, receive documented notice from the title company that as of this time "your title has been cleared".Desired Settlement: Completion of promised and approved refinance, or new refinance with similar terms and conditions.

Review: I've recently applied and been denied for an assumption through JP Morgan Chase. This is the third time I've applied and been denied. Every time I've applied I've followed the guidance given by Chase employees in order to have the assumption approved. After this recent time I called and spoke with the representative that was in charge of my case and asked for an explanation. She said she would give my phone number to her supervisor and he would call me. He did not. For over the last two weeks I have called and emailed my representative almost everyday and called her supervisor multiples times and no one has returned an email or voicemail helping me with my questions. This is an extremely urgent, important and pressing matter regarding this assumption process and no one will contact me.Desired Settlement: There are many desired outcomes. I would like an apology, some kind of response from someone regarding my appeal for information, an explanation why my assumption was denied, and what I need to do to rectify it. I would really like some true valid concrete information also. I've been told many different things from this company on how to proceed and how to get an assumption approved. Those things have turned out to be wrong and inaccurate.

Review: A couple yrs ago I was placed in a modification repayment plan my last payment was lost and they said I broke contract and stopped taking my payments then placed me in wrongfull foreclosure. I was working with community action whow sent them copies of all my receiptstuff and suggested me getting a lawyer well he didn't do anything but place me in bankruptcy so now I'm still losin my home and they never corrected their mistakes they just sent an apology letter where they found missing payment but I never got a contract to sign from them and never got anything adjusted from their mistake I just need help I want my home and just want them to fix everything and let me make my payments without all of the harassment and they keep switching CSR'S so I keep doing paperwork and getting more and more behindDesired Settlement: To fix my account give or put what shouldn't be on their off And add the correct amounts I've sent for yrs now I don't even get my overages from my escrow. When I done the last repayment plan I sent almost 6000 in 5 months to just be told I broke contract by not making last payment in which they later found that was not my fault

Review: I was in a forbearance program on my mortgage with Chase during the months of June-August,2014. I was told in July not to send in my payment until Aug.,that my account was current. I was told this by about 5 different people. My customer specialist noted this in my records. At the end of the forbearance program I was told there was a problem with the paperwork and I would have to drop out and start all over. I was sent paperwork to fill out again. I was supposed to be moved to the mod. program and had already been approved. Then I started getting calls from the collection dept. saying I am late and adding late fees. I sent in my paperwork and now they are telling me it is outdated because they took 2 months to get me out so I could start over. I sent the papers in again an am waiting but have already been told I probably won't get any help. I do not have an extra $800 to send and they will continue adding late charges even though I am waiting to hear back from them.I have been continually lied to and misinformed during this process. They have delayed at every corner. It should not take almost a year to receive any help from a company.Desired Settlement: I do not feel I should have to make this payment as I was repeatedly assured I didn't owe it. I want the company to do what it promised me in the first place and help me with a modification.

Review: JPMorgan Chaise has processed an unauthorized bank debit this week against a mortgage that was paid off and closed last week.Desired Settlement: They need to refund my my $1,677 or I will be filing suit. Filing criminal charges against them if possible.
