Review: Settlement made in good faith. Chase continues to report erroneous info on Credit report. Did not honor settlement agreement. Regarding account[redacted]. I settled this 2nd mortgage with CHASE in 2009. In the settlement they agreed to report the account as paid in full and not report any derogatory information on my credit report. They are reporting the account with 180 late payments from 2009-2011 when the account was closed. I called them to discuss this matter and the rep was very rude and said there was nothing she could due. I said they agreed to not report negative info and she said if I wanted the info corrected I need to dispute with the Credit reporting companies.Desired Settlement: Remove late payments from credit report or remove tradeline altogether.

Review: I just paid off my mortgage loan with Chase and was charged $1728.54 in taxes against the loan amount at closing. I called Chase and was told I would receive a partial amount reimbursement due to the fact that I closed prior to the tax dates (7/1/13-9/1/13). I closed on 8/14/13. Today I called to ask about the reimbursement and was NOW told because it was an FHA loan that it is not reimbursable. I was expecting to receive approximately $460.94 and this is more that a little disappointing. The Chase representative today stated that I was given false information originally. I have been paying my loan for 1 year 3 months now and tried to refinance thru Chase to stay within but they could not compete with the other lenders in the market. I feel like Chase is taking advantage of me by absorbing money that is not entitled.Desired Settlement: I'd like to receive the money back that I paid at closing and was told I would recoup.

Review: Dec 12, 2013 I received a Fed-ex envelope to refinance my house. The expiration on the paperwork was also Dec 12, 2013. I spoke with a representative at Chase who took my information and emailed me required documentation. On Dec 13, 2014 I scanned and emailed back required documents. Dec 30th I received another email from the representative stating I needed to fill out one additional piece of paper and get it back to them on Dec 30 or they would drop my file. Again I emailed the documentation that was requested. On Jan 31 after I had not heard from anyone at Chase I called to check the status of my refinance only to never reach the representative but another person who informed me my file was dropped on Dec 31 due to lack of a signature. I finally got a-hold of the manager who informed me I had not signed a piece of paper. When I asked why I was not informed she could not tell me other then oh were you not notified. On Feb 3 she called me to let me know she talked with her boss and they would get me another offer out but it would take 3-5 weeks to receive and that she would keep in touch with me. Feb 28 when I still have not received the offer or heard from the manager I began to call Chase again. My call was finally returned on Mon Mar 3. The manager told me I was on her calender and she would check on the offer status and get back to me. Here it is Mar 5, 2 days later and still no call from said manager. Tonight I called Chase again to only once again be put into a voice mail. I hit "0" and asked to speak to her manager, he however had left for the day. The lady on the phone with me has escalated my issue on to the resolution department and made the comment it should not have taken this long. So again I am told I should receive a call in 24-48 hours. All I am trying to do is refinance my house to a lower rate and save some money but it does not seem Chase wants to accommodate the offer letter they mailed out.Desired Settlement: Settlement would be to refinance my house in a timely fashion, to honor the agreements and stipulations promised and not take 30-45 days to process documentation as I have been working with them since Dec 12, 2013.

Review: WE NEED CHASE TO SEND MY HUSBAND & MYSELF OUR MORTGAGE LOAN COUPON ....SO WE CAN PAY-BY-MAIL!

WE HAVE CALLED MANY TIMES IN THE LAST 3 MONTHS....THEY HAVE FAILED TO HELP US....SO MY HUSBAND HAD TO MAKE THE PAYMENT

OVER THE PHONE. EVERYTIME WE CALLED...WE GOT A DIFFERENT REP., AND THEY CLAIM THAT YES....WE SHOULD BE GETTING A COUPON THROUGH THE MAIL SO WE CAN MAKE OUR PAYMENT BY CHECK.

SO FAR.....NO PAYMENT COUPON AND OUR MORTGAGE IS DUE....MAY 1ST.

IT MAKES US MAD TO BE LIED TO........ALSO....WE HAVE NEVER BEEN LATE WITH A PAYMENT. SO WE HAVE BEEN GOOD CUSTOMERS.

ALL WE ARE ASKING FOR IS FOR CHASE TO START SENDING US OUR PAYMENT COUPON EACH MONTH.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME, SINCERELY, [redacted]Desired Settlement: WE WANT OUR MORTGAGE LOAN COUPON SENT TO US EACH MONTH SO WE CAN PAY BY MAIL!

Review: Chase is not accepted a payoff that matched the payoff statement that they provided. We are now going onto 5 days since the money was wired and tomorrow is the deadline. They state the payoff was short only because they paid property taxes when they had documentation that they accepted a netted payoff. I have a letter showing they would pay the taxes, and I paid them on pay refinance closing. They paid them the day prior to funding. With the legal documentation we have, it shows we already paid taxes, the taxes were put on an escrow hold per letter Chase provided, and the payoff money we sent matched to the penny of the payoff statement provided. The payment of taxes was Chase's servicing error and they are not completing the request in a timely manner; we feel 4 days was enough time. When I 1st started my refinance with another institution in November I called Chase to see when they would pay my taxes, as I needed to know time line for my closing. They stated they can't pay until they get the tax bill. My loan was scheduled to close on the 19th, and with 3 day right to cancel the loan would fund on the 24th. I specified that to the servicing rep. In Dane County the bills would be coming out the week we closed; thus causing the dilemma. We agreed to hold escrow, pay them at closing, and net the escrows. I was instructed to call the day the loan funded and did on the 24th. The servicing rep stated they paid taxes on the 23rd because they didn't receive the wire (of course not it was coming on 24th) and they couldn't accept the wire. After speaking to supervisor they stated they agreed it was there error and would get it rectified; now 4 business days later it is not.Desired Settlement: I want my payoff posted an if now needed back dated to Dec 31t; as the payoff is valid through that date. If they do not post the payoff by this date we the customer would owe another month of interest, which equates to about $1000. A mortgage payment would be paid by us on a mortgage that really shouldn't exist anymore, as we wouldn't want our credit affected. I was in contact with Chase for over a month, to ensure everything was in line and it was. The day of funding everything changed.

Review: My home went into foreclosure in late 2012. Shortly after, I contacted a counselor who agreed to represent me before Chase and attempted to get me into a refinancing situation. The situation worked through to mid-2013, while Chase continued to pursue its foreclosure. The home was foreclosed on, and a sale of the home was to be conducted in July 2013, while we were still awaiting an answer on refinancing.

Per my counselor, Chase refused to reschedule the sale of the home without approval, but assured us that if we obtained approval, they would put off the sale. We finally received an answer just shortly before the sale that we had been denied. The sole reason for denial was that Chase had refused to cooperate with refinancing, and the program required the cooperation of the lender. The letter the government program sent out showed Chase's denial as the sole reason for turning me down.

Chase in essence played a double-hand, which was a primary contributor to losing my home. I had hoped for their cooperation, and had been led to believe I would get it if the government approved me, and I did not pursue other options such as declaring bankruptcy or obtaining legal council.

As a result, I lost the home, was subsequently evicted (a separate issue), and lost everything I owned.Desired Settlement: Chase can do nothing to bring back my home. It has treated me as poorly as it has millions of homeowners. It can, however, work with me on the issue I am currently seeking litigation on, to obtain my lost possessions back, and I would appreciate seeing some effort from them to do so.

Review: April 2014, I refinanced my mortgage with a local company. At this time they contacted Chase for a payoff and also to let them know not to pay insurance or taxes because they will be handling it. on April 24th, I signed the paper with the new mortgage company. In May, Chase proceeded to send my tax money which is approximately $1300 to the county that I reside in. The county then sent it back to Chase because I had already paid the taxes in full with my new mortgage company. I have since then contacted Chase 4 different times and they state that they cannot find the money that the county sent back to them and that it could take 30-90 days. The county said to contact Revdex.com beacuse it should not take more than 14 days. When the county sent the check back to chase they also sent a prepaid envelope with my address so they could send it directly to me right away. This has not happened and would like some assistance with this.Desired Settlement: I want my tax money back. $1300

Review: I have been tryin to do a modification with Chase JP Morgan ever sense 2008. Every year I have completed the application and was told I did have all the documents. Everyyear it's been the same thing. In 2013 I was told I had everything but they were checking, I guest things out. Then this year, they sent me another application to complete again. I have been doing this over and over. At what time do they do the modification? The President of the Unite States say they were to give modification to those who applied and needed. I have been faxing and mailing papers only to be told. Now, you have some of the papers but we will get back with you. Then they send you messages saying if you don't get it in buy !!!! that date, you will have to reapply. I have been getting the information in and still being told the same thing. It's now fair that they give modifications to some and not to others. This is my last time gathering all those papers. Having to have all your personnal paper out in siberspace. All I ask if that they give me the modification on my home. They wanted you be behind with your rent, well this year is the first time, and they still are saying we will get back with you. I have had JPMorgan for over 10 years. Why can they just do the modification. They have had my paper work long enought. I have been applying for so long, I have learn the mortgage account number by heart.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Refund

$28,800, off my mortgage. Then take my mortgage down the the 4% or so that the government authorized for homeowner. like myself. How I got the $28,000.00 is I took off $400.00 a month for 6 years. I really don't know what I should be, but I know that they are just pushing me around and around. My mortgage should be at $1200 a month, not $2200.00

Review: called chase 4-11-13 to change to my existing homeowners ins. to new carrier.old policy expires 4-13-13 I received letter 4-20-13 from chase my homeowners ins. is about expire I need to have ins on the home.I called chase 5-10-13 find out whats going on,Mrs [redacted] informed me my escrow was canceled on 5-1-13 she didn't know by who.Mrs [redacted] called [redacted] in bankrupt dept Mrs [redacted] didn't know who canceled escrow ether.Mrs [redacted] gave Mrs [redacted] & I a case #[redacted]. they took care of problem.I received second letter form chase near end of 5-2013 saying I have escrow shortage of $520.77 my new house payment starts Sept.2013. 6-7-13 talked to [redacted] 7am bout whole problem.she got me to Mrs [redacted] in escrow dept.Mrs [redacted] informed me my taxes went up that's reason of shortage.how could that be when 2009 I had some problem with chase & they require a cushion in escrow &they said we do that so we wont have this problem.I know my homeowners Ins went up couple of dollars. 4 hrs got nowhere. 6-10-13 got nowhere with [redacted].just kept saying taxes went up.6-17-13 called taxes Mrs. [redacted] informed me my taxes didn't go up.6-17-13 talked to Mrs [redacted] form chase tax dept.she didn't know why my taxes were paid late call bankruptcy dept.that's where I started.REALLY!!6-18-13called exclusive office Mr [redacted] did the best he could but didn't why shortage ether.his ####-###-#### where Mrs [redacted] is ###-###-#### no one could figure out why the shortage & who stopped the escrow, where did that escrow payment go?Iam in chapter 13 bankruptcy.through my lawyer we figured a payment to chase to qualify for bankruptcy.I think chase is trying to make me lose my house.I cant pay the escrow shortage in my payment.chase wants $2.99 ins increase+$8.57 to have a cushion in case taxes go up + $14.47 shortage I cant do that its not my mistake its chase who made it.I agree the ins increase.maybe the guessing of taxes, but the shortage NO!Desired Settlement: chase needs to figure out what happened, how did the shortage come when chase always requires a cushion to prevent this problem. this happened in 2009 with chase.I hate their business practices they truly want to keep costumer confused.I want chase to pay the shortage & not put on balance of my loan.they keep making the mistake,& no one knows who did it.

Review: I applied for the hardship program offered by the government due to financial distress this started with ALL REQUIRED paperwork sent certified to chase on 4-30-13. I qualified for the modification on my mortgage payments and have since been given the run around everytime I call in. I have a representative [redacted] direct number [redacted] who has only returned a few of my or my wifes calls . every time we call the company we get info stating that something was not sent in. I have sent by certified mail and fax ALL documents that they have ask for at LEAST 3 times. The last conversation with mrs gillette was that WE GOT LOST IN THE LOOP DURING A TRANSITION WITH THIER DEPARTMENT AND IF WE WOULD RE-DATE THE HARDSHIP AFFADAVITS FOR MYSELF AND MY WIFE AND SEND A LETTER OF INCOME THAT SHE VERIFIED WAS ACCEPTABLE TO OUR LENDOR THAT SHE WOULD PUSH IT THROUGH AND THAT IT WAS THIER ERROR. THAT WAS ALL WE NEEDED TO SEND. We FAXED that the same hour. I notified Ms. [redacted] that I would be filing this complaint with no response. I am in desperate need of this modification and there is no reason it should not have already been in effectDesired Settlement: to obtain our loan modification that we are eligible for to be able to maintain our mortgage payment and not keep getting the run around and rudeness of customer service and or managers involved. we were never allowed to speak with anyone other than a customer service rep. no manager or supervisor would return calls.

Review: Dispute regarding cancellation of PMI insurance. Since I have have paid 30% on my original mortgage and met the initial PMI waiver limits, Chase contracted with [redacted] to appraise my rental house. Chase made me pay for the appraisal but refused to waive PMI since [redacted] appraisal showed the value of the property had significantly decreased. I reviewed [redacted] appraisal and found significant errors and noticed they had used foreclosed and "As Is" properties as comparables in their assessment and falsely noted them as in "Good Condition" skewing their initial assessment. After several months and discussions, [redacted], finally performed another assessment but the assessment was still very low and Chase would not waive the PMI. I reviewed the second report and found [redacted]l selected comparable house of lower values from poor neighborhoods outside my neighborhood. I again contacted Chase and sent several comparable within my neighborhood proving my house has not declined in value and sent Chase other significant errors found in the second appraisal. Chase is taking their time, delaying, and not promptly taking action to get [redacted]l to correct their reporting errors. I have spend several hours and this process has spanned over 10 months. Currently no action has been taken to fix the report errors or assessment to waive the PMI I am currently paying. I should not have to pay for an assessment that has significant flaws and feel [redacted]l and Chase are have been omitting using market sales in order to keep me paying PMI.Desired Settlement: I would like Chase to refund the money they charged me for [redacted]l. I also would like an assessment be properly performed using sales and listing within my neighborhood as their are several available. I would also like a refund of all the PMI payments made since my original request as the denial was based on flawed inaccurate information.

Review: I filed a Chapter 13 bankruptcy in 2009. After 2009 Chase Bank took over my second mortgage and that is when the problems started. Chase Bank lists the second mortgage as Chapter 13 bankruptcy and this property was never included in the Chapter 13 and has always been paid outside of the bankruptcy. Chase will not allow me to speak with them on this issue advising me that any communication must go through my bankruptcy attorney. I was discharged from my Chapter 13 in November 2012 and I am unable to finance my current home because Chase is refusing to remove this error from my credit report.Desired Settlement: Correct my credit report to removed my Chase account as showing it to be in Chapter 13

Review: I have a mortgage payment with them and they have been charging me for Mortgage Payment Insurance of 1152 $ / month according the HUD " the us urban development the bank does not need to charge me this money because the payment goes to the HUD and when I called the HUD they said that they have not been billing me for PMI/MMI since April if 2011 so chase owes me over 3648 $ for unlawful collection of Payment insurance , when I contacted chase in July they said that will send me a check by the end of October and I have not received that check , when I called back they said HUD is the one that issues the checks with a refund , when I called HUD I learned that chase has not been paying HUD for over 2 years I wonder how many people are being scammed by Chase for their Mortgage Insurance PayementDesired Settlement: I need my money back 3684

Review: After 10 years of my home insurance policy automatically renewing and automatically being paid via escrow, it wasn't renewed and I wasn't notified. Instead, Chase purchased a new policy, with a different company, on my behalf at a 400% increase in premium ($234 vs. $780 / month). This feels like extortion. They did not email me nor mail me re: this issue, they simply purchased this policy at 4X the market rate....and I didn't notice for over 8 months (because I live in Singapore and pay the mortgage + and extra $500 top up / month to try and pay it down) until this week.I filed a formal complaint 1 week ago and have not received a response from Chase.Desired Settlement: Credit for excessive premium to be credited to my account.

Review: I had a home loan with Chase at my home address of [redacted] I sold the property on 6/19/14 and the loan was paid off. I had participated in a 1% cash back reward program and had a current balance of about $109 when the property sold. Before the loan was paid off, I called chase to ask how to remove this money and I was told it was mine and that it would be in my final refund check. The check was received and this amount was not included. I called again to ask and was told it would be deposited into my account within 14 of the loan payoff date. More than 14 days passed and no payment was submitted to my account. I was then told that I would be entitled to the money since if the loan is terminated before it is deposited, the money is lost. This is unfair as I was told incorrect information 3 times before the correct information was provided.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my $109 for my earned rewards.

Review: Applied for a loan from the bank. Appears everything was approved with the exception of the zoning. My home has been in the same spote since the 1920's. The bank sent out an appraiser who inspected the home and even offered to buy the house from me. I did not offer to sell it at any time. The appraiser then refused to submit the appraisal, per the bank saying that the zoning was wrong. I personally checked with the assesors office and was told my home was R1 which is a single family housing zone. My calls have never been returned timely and I even recieved a call after work hours. I just happened to be working late from a supervisor who was as indifferent as she could be. I am not satisfied with the service at all. The bank is located in the same area that my home is located. There are numerous homes located up and down the same street. Homes that have either gone up for sale or refinance at some point. The bank should know all about the issues that are stumping them. I have asked realestate professionals and noone has run into the issues that the bank is claiming to be incountering.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)

I would like my complaint to be available for others to see. The lack of professionalism was very shocking for a institution as large as Chase. No concern at was shown to me once problems started surfacing. In fact I feel like I was treated as a problem and definitely not as a valued customer.

Review: We closed on a foreclosure property in June 2014 and we were shown a picture before we bid on the property of land with a mobile home on it. Then at closing we signed a "termite hold harmless" agreement. After spending over $5,000 on repairs and the necessary inspections and such, we are informed that we need a "bill of sale" for the mobile. In order to register the home and get electricity to the property we MUST have a "bill of sale". The Tax Assessors office said that if the bank fills out a blank bill of sale that it will be accepted. We have sent emails, certified mail, and made phone calls. No one will return my correspondence. We were advised to file a "Title Claim", and we did that also. We were told that the Mobile home "isn't covered". We paid cash in full at closing. All we are asking for is a bill of sale and no one wants to help us.Desired Settlement: We want a bill of sale for the Mobile home that we purchased with the 6 acres of land. If any other information is needed we will gladly provide it. Additional information:Address of property: [redacted]

Review: My ex-wife, who was at the time mentally ill, caused us to fall behind in our mortgage payments in early 2012. We called Chase, got the paperwork for a mortgage modification and sent it in. We never heard back from Chase and when we called were told it was being processed and to wait. In October 2012 I called again and they said the paperwork was incomplete and we need to start over. I filled out the paperwork however it took some time to get my ex-wife's signature since we were going through a divorce. When I finally got the signature I turned it in before the property was sold however Chase said it was too late. Now my house has been sold and I've had to move.

They are completely unwilling to do anything to assist me and it seems to me that they are using unethical business practices to scam homeowners out of their property.

I hate telling my kids that their home is gone because this company isn't treating my fairly.Desired Settlement: All I want, all I have wanted since this started, is a modification to my mortgage so I can resume making payments and have my home back. Making the payment was never the issue and I explained this to Chase. I can make the payments every month however I don't have enough cash to catch up on the past payments.

Review: I have been paying an additional $100.00 into escrow and documenting this information on my statement. My escrow balance only shows $230.00. Chase states due the fact I don't pay through the mail they allocate the money in their way. I submit the same paperwork through the mail as I would paying At a branch. This has been going on for 18 months. Come October I will have a new mortgage payment due to the fact my 100.00 wasn't applied correctly.Desired Settlement: Would like this taken care as soon as possible

Review: I bought a house on August 14, 2013. Purchase price was $240,000.00 and appraisal value was 235.000.00 . At that time, I did not do all 20% down-payment, so that I am still paying mortgage insurance on my loan. From October 2013, I was trying to remove my Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI) by paying the required amount of 20%. I requested to CHASE MANHATTAN MORTGAGE CORP 3415 VISION DR COLUMBUS, OH 43219-6009 to remove that PMI, but they send me the letter on October 30, 2013 by saying "In order to proceed with your request to remove your PMI, you may pay your principal balance down by $192,000.00, to meet the required LTV ratio of 80%"by your original value of $240,000.00. After received that letter, I paid my principle balance down by $19,916.17 to meet the requirement. I called them many times to remove that PMI, but they did not do so. Now they told me that to reach the LTV ratio of 80% you may pay your principal balance down $ 188,000.00 using original value of $235,000.00. Now they are forcing me to pay $2706.53 by December 12, 2013 to remove PMI from my loan. I should not pay that extra money according to what they explain me before.Desired Settlement: All I want to do is remove PMI from my loan in which I already meet the requirements for that removal of PMI from my account. They explained me one thing and finally they did other thing. I just need to go with what they send me in the first letter.
