Review: To whom It May Concern ..I am filing a complaint against nomorerack.com .. and, this is why .. on December the [redacted]of 2013 I went onto their website to purchase a new or what I thought would be a brand new 7 inch "[redacted]" Android tablet {Purple in color}. When I finally did receive the tablet,{3 or so weeks later} I had opened the envelope only to realize there was no plastic on the outside and the box was opened. So, I decided to inspect the screen etc. The screen was scratched up and had bubbles in the corner of it .. they had sold me a used/damaged item. This was not what I paid for. I have tried contacting them via emails for over a month now and I am getting a huge run around. They were supposed to send me a package to ship the product back for a full refund of the amount I paid on December the [redacted]2013 and, so far they have done nothing! I have also sent pics of the item to them so they know I am being honest, I have every email I have sent and that they have replied to but, have not stepped into action for. I am very upset at this point and, I just want my money back.Desired Settlement: I simply want the amount I paid in full refunded to me .. the amount is $61.00

Response:

Dear [redacted],

On December **, 2013, customer service generated an RMA and return shipping label so you can return the product. This was reiterated on January **, 2014 and February **, 2014. To date, the item has not been sent to the vendor and therefore I cannot issue a refund.

[Your Answer Here]

it is false. Nomorerack.com never sent me anything after I complained to them at all and, I do have the emails to prove that. I am in shock that such a company would lie esp. knowing I have emails from them telling me it was up to me to mail everything on my own. this is the exact reason I came to Revdex.com in the first place!

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Response:

Dear [redacted],

As you can see from the screen shot in the previous message an RMA was already processed on December [redacted] 2013 for the return of your item. I've very sorry if you didn't receive it via email but I have attached a copy here for your usage. Once your return has been received a full refund will be processed back to your original form of payment.

I never, not once received one thing to return the tablet .. it would be trackable through UPS also they do delivery confirmation! This is beyond ridiculous at this point .. I hope noone else has to be put through this. I simply want the stuff to return it and, they never even sent it to me, if I received it .. it would be confirmed through the UPS or mail .. so, show me my signature! also, why not just resend the envelope if it was lost in the mail? they are [redacted]!!!

Response:

Dear [redacted],

Upon reviewing your account, I see that a refund was processed back to your original form of payment on 4/*/14. Please allow 7 to 10 days for this refund to be reflected back onto your account. If there is anything else I can do to help you, please just let me know.

Regards,

This company will not unsubscribe you from their promotional emails no matter how many times you request it. Their link at the bottom of their emails doesn't work. You report it to their customer service multiple times, but continue to receive unwanted emails. They send you messages apologizing and stating that your request has been forwarded to their I.T. Department for manual removal, but you still get emails. After I threatened a lawsuit, I suddenly started receiving upwards of 50 spam emails from multiple companies daily! They must have given out my email address to other retailers.

Review: I ordered a leather handbag from No More Rack via online order on 10/*/13. When the handbag arrived on 10/**/13, though it looked nice, it smelled strongly of mildew as if the leather had previously been wet. I kept it out of the package and thought that the air would eliminate the smell. Not only did it not, it smelled up the room it was in. On 10/**/13 I completed a satisfaction questionnaire they sent me and indicated the issue but I never heard back from anyone regarding my slightly negative review and complaint of the smell. On 10/**/13 I wrote to them about this handbag as well as another product issue. They said that I could return the handbag for a refund and provided me with a postage-paid USPS return label that had $50 insurance coverage.

I thought that maybe after a few days I could live with the remaining odor and thought that I may keep it, but when it never dissipated I decided to go ahead with the return and refund. Good decision because when I packaged it, I found that though this bag was never used, the stitching was all pulled near the straps. I took pictures just in case. I wrote to NMR and advised then that I would indeed be returning the handbag and they assured me to use the return label and RMA# they had previously emailed me on 10/**/13. Though the address was different on the label than on their email, I returned it to the address on the label which they provided.

I packaged the item and returned it but never received a refund. I had another issue relating to an inferior product and refund that I was also int he process of rectifying. They were eventually resolved but the handbag was not. In the meantime I searched all my credit card statements and found no refund was ever issued. There is no way of researching this information through your online account because they do not keep your billing information nor does it appear on your confirmation emails/receipts. I tracked the package through USPS and found that it was delivered on 11/*/13 at 7:12pm to the address that NMR provided on their label.

On 11/**/13 I wrote with a refund status inquiry. They responded on 11/**/13, while resolving one other issue, they informed me that the handbag was returned to the wrong address and I should contact the courier regarding this issue. I wrote back to them on 11/**/2013 attaching the return label they provided me, the USPS tracking info and a letter regarding all that had transpired. I expected a resolution. I should note that during this time NMR must have decided that they no longer wanted me as a customer and stopped emailing me their daily deals.

On 12/**/13 I checked back with NMR to see if my issue had been resolved yet as I still did not receive my refund. I received a response apologizing for any inconvenience as usual and was informed that this issue would be escalated to a [redacted]. I checked back on 1/**/2014 to inquire that I would still hear from a [redacted]. This morning on 1/**/14, I received an email again apologizing and informing me that I should "...be advised that we can no longer issue refund to your account since its beyond the 60 days refund time frame."

This is unacceptable as their was no fault on my part. The item was defective and returned to them via a return label they provided me with insurance to cover said item in the event something did happen to it. I reacted and responded within an appropriate time frame and want a refund, not a credit, for $29.00 + 2.36 tax. I have corresponded via email because when I called ###-###-#### customer service number it indicates that due to high call volume all requests are to be emailed.Desired Settlement: Refund to my credit card in the amount of $31.36

Response:

At this time, I have not been contacted by NoMoreRack.com, Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted]. After submitting my complaint to Revdex.com on 1/**/2014, I found a contact number and called No More Rack. I spoke with a rep by the name of [redacted]. She told me that my issue was over their 60 day company policy and therefore I was not given a refund. I had to explain in detail, again, the issue I had, the dates involved and the steps I have taken to attempt to get this resolved. She advised me that she was escalating my request and I should check back within 5 business days.

I gave them plenty of time to rectify this matter and on 2/*/2014, I called again speaking with a rep by the name of [redacted]. She again informed me that my refund was not issued because it is now past their 60 day policy. I once again, advised that I returned my item within a timely fashion and No More Rack has taken longer than 60 days to resolve my issue. She transferred me to a supervisor by the name of [redacted].. After a explaining the history of the complaint, he reviewed the notes, placed me on hold a couple of times and finally told me that he received an approval to refund me $30.19 which is $1.17 less than what it should be. Despite that small monetary difference and the fact that I had to call them yet again, I was happy to hear that I should receive a refund within 3-5 business days. I will check on the follow through of this refund and report back to you.

Sincerely,

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this their response proves how inept they are at handling customer resolution. This person [redacted] obviously has not reviewed the numerous notes on my account. If she had, she would know exactly what the issue at hand was. Regardless, I last informed the Revdex.com that I spoke to a representative that finally received an approval to refund my money. I was due a credit of $31.36 but they instead refunded $30.19. I am just happy to have this matter resolved. Thank you for your assistance with this matter as it is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Review: I received emailes from the former 'NoMoreRack.com' back in 2011 and subsequently unsubscribed that same year. This May I received an email from the company announcing their new name, 'Choxi'. I then wanted to unsubscribe from this email, but there was no unsubscribe option listed on their initial email. The email stated to contact their customer service, which I did and asked to be unsubscribed. After several frustrating back and forth emails with them I was told I would be unsubscribed. I was even told it would be brought to the attention of management. I have since then received around seven of the very same announcement of their new ownership email. All of which did now contain the unsubscribe link, and all of which I selected to be unsubscribed from using their link. It is now September and about twice a month I still continue to receive a welcome email from this company. I have emailed them directly and reported the issue, I have replied to the initial emails, I have used their unsubscribe process and NONE of them actually work. I expect to continue receiving emails from this company and it is not right. Per the CAN-SPAM act this is against the law and incredibly frustrating. It is a massive waist of my time, I've never dealt with such a mess of a company. They obviously don't care about my requests to be taken off their email list, despite my MANY attempts. Maybe they will listen to you.Desired Settlement: If this continues I would expect to be paid for my time that they negligently waist. If they actually stop emailing me I would simply love to never hear from this company ever again.

Review: I ordered 4 items before the deadline for guaranteed Christmas delivery and did not receive them. I also received several fraudulent tracking numbers with items that were delivered to different states, customer service ensured me several times the items would arrive on time. The company refuses to issue a refund for non-received items. Absolutely terrible customer service that is nearly impossible to reach. They do not have 24/7 customer service as they state. It takes nearly 3 days to get any sort of response!Desired Settlement: Full refund for unreceived items and prosecution/closure of business for fraud, bait and switch tactics, false advertising, etc.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. Although I will still never shop with this company again and would not recommend any one else to do so, either... I am still disgusted with the lack of decent customer service, the lack of availability to contact someone (took several days to get responses fur each inquiry), the false advertising, fake tracking numbers, incorrect tracking numbers, poor item quality, the list goes on and on...

Sincerely,

Review: I have never recieved my items and they keep saying that it is going to be addressed through email.. They are Christmas gifts and the tracking numbers are invalid. The customer service number states that they are to busy to accept calls, what kind of business. Order:# [redacted] and [redacted]. This company is a joke and they should be ashamed of their customer service. Thank youDesired Settlement: Refund

Business

Response:

I have purchased 3 different items from this company without any complaints. They have been fast, efficient and correct in the orders, but have never had to return or interact with customer service. I have been pleasantly surprised with the products for the price.

Review: Like many others, I ordered from nomorerack with caution as I had heard many horror stories from them. However, I foolishly placed an order with a credit card, and within a day of the mass refunds going out for the cancelled orders (no one received the items we had purchased - the Bond 50 blu-ray collection) my bank closed my credit card and opened a new one due to suspected fraud. I have read similar stories from others who had ordered the same item, which leads me to think that it may have all been a big phishing scheme, with no real intent on fulfilling a single order.Desired Settlement: nomorerack should not be in business anymore.

Business

Response:

Dear [redacted],

We had a unique issue with one of our suppliers and the order could not be fulfilled and refunds were issued to all customer who ordered this product. I cannot locate your customer profile in our system, please provide me with your order number so I may view your order and provide you with more information.

Best,

Review: I purchased a phone and the OS had terrible performance. I notified the business and they allowed me to send it back but then told me it was damaged and would not issue a refund. I then told them to send it back to me and they said it would be a $10 shipping charge. I'm paying $60 for a phone I don't have or $70 for a phone that doesn't work.

Previous to that, I purchased a different phone and 5 months later the screen died and it was no longer under warranty with them. Their warranty is 30 days.Desired Settlement: I do not expect a full refund but would like 50% back at least. I have bought 3 items from them and have never had a good experience with the products and their customer service is less than satisfactory.

Consumer

Response:

At this time, I have been contacted directly by NoMoreRack.com, Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

They did not offer any further solutions besides keeping the phone with no refund or sending it back to me for an additional $10 in shipping costs so they got money either way. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and they have refunded the cost to me instead but NoMoreRack.com did not offer a reasonable resolution.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Response:

Dear [redacted], Upon reviewing your case, I see that an RMA was processed for the return of this item because you informed us it was not operating correctly. When the return was received by our manufacturing partner, they found the original box was missing and the screen was cracked, neither of which was mentioned before the RMA was processed. Our manufacturing partner also informed us that the same damage which caused the cracked screen most likely caused the lower performance of the device. If you would like the item returned to you, please provide a pre-paid return shipping label and I will request the item be sent out as soon as possible. Regards, [redacted]

Business

Response:

Dear [redacted], Unfortunately, when the return was received the phone screen was cracked. As noted previously, the original box which helps protect the device from damage, was not used in the return as required. If the item was not packaged well it may have resulted in damage to the device during shipping. That being said I will go ahead and make an exception and issue a refund of $30 to your original form of payment as requested. Please note that for any future orders, all returns must be made in the condition the item was received and include the original box. If there is anything else I can do to assist you, please just let me know. Regards, [redacted]

Sincerely,

Review: I purchased items from this merchant on December 20th and one of the items was not delivered within their promised 10-14 business days. I contacted the merchant on January 15th to let them know about the missing items and that I had since moved to a new address and provided them with a new address. The merchant confirmed receipt of my notification but still delivered the item on January [redacted]to my old address, where I no longer lived or had access to. In fact, I had told them my new address in San Francisco a city 400 miles away. I had about 30 emails back and forth with Nomorerack's customer service with my compliant being "escalated" to several level of their management and being refused along the way to refund me or shipping replacements to my new address. Their final recommendation "File a police report" for missing items. I had told them a dozen times the items were not "missing" they got delivered outside of the promised delivery dates to an address I no longer had despite the fact that I had notified the merchant about the issues before the delivery date and had provided them my new address. Horrible customer service and shady business practices.Desired Settlement: I want my money to be refunded for the items I never received.

Review: I previously returned a Google Android Tablet that did not work and I was issued a credit for that item. I also emailed a copy of the return receipt for return shipping but have not been refunded that amount. The total return to me for this order should be $6.28 for return shipping. Order number [redacted] for $341 and order number [redacted] for $70 were placed on February [redacted], 2013. Once I received the orders, it was noticed the orders were only partially correct. Upon return the above customer service reps continue to say they have refunded the funds and I must wait 5 to 7 days for the credit to go to my bank. It has now been over two to three months and I have yet received a refund. Nomorerack continues to put me off not giving me my refund of $168.10.Desired Settlement: I would like the refund of the $168.10 refunded as NOMORERACK indicated, in writing, they would several times.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

This has been bizarre. I never received the money back on my laptop, even though I mailed it back to them. (They did send a shipping label. I sent it back in the original packaging. I never heard whether or not they received it, nor did I get the $299 credit (less shipping costs) that they promised me.

As a middle school teacher, my "extra" time is slim at best; it's hard to keep going after them!

On my salary, I cannot afford a $299.oo hit. Now I have no laptop, still owe $299.oo. Is this your definition of a reputable company?

When I got an email two weeks later saying they were not shipping yet I requested to change address as I was moving. The declined request. my mom received our items and they were not what I ordered. Sincerely,

Review: I ordered 4 tablets from nomorerack.com on Dec. *, 2013. My checking account was deducted immediately, when I placed my order. I was guaranteed that I would recieve the tablets in time for Christmas. The ad reads "all orders placed before Dec. [redacted] are guaranteed to arrive by Christmas." I ordered differernt colors of tablets for my children. On December [redacted] I recieved a purple tablet. The others had not arrived, so I went to check the tracking numbers for the other tablets. I discovered, when I checked the tracking numbers on my order, it shown the other tablets to have already been delivered. I had a difficult time finding a way to contact customer service on the website. The number displayed on the site had a recording stating that they were too busy to take calls at the time. I was able to locate a different number by scanning google. Finally, I called nomorerack.com on the [redacted] and talked to a [redacted], she said in 5 days the others would be delivered. She blamed it on various reasons, something about the vendor. I asked what the tracking numbers were to the other tablets was and why does it say they have been delivered. No one could give me an answer as to why there was not a number to each tablet. My husband called and asked to talk to a manager and was told that she was too busy. My husband sent in 2 emails to the companyon the [redacted]. I got a replyon the [redacted] that it was guaranteed to be delivered by Christmas. I called every day since. I was told as soon as they shipped the other tablets we would get a tracking number, which never happened. On the [redacted] of December I finally recieved a white tablet. I still did not recieve the pink and blue tablets. Dec. [redacted] I called for the final time and asked what happens when they fall through with their guarantee? She could not give an answer. Meanwhile, here I am on Christmas day without Christmas presents for two of my five children.Desired Settlement: I would like for consumers to be aware of the false advertising at nomorerack.com. It is obvious that they were accepting money for items (tablets) that they did not have. I did not receive the guarantee of delivery by Christmas. I would like for criminal charges brought against nomorerack.com for putting a reoccuring deduction on my checking account without my permission.

Consumer

Response:

We would like for the company to change their false advertisement. The cutomer service [redacted]s are extremely difficult to communicate with and told us absolutely nothing but lies. Company policies should be changed to truthfulness. Tracking numbers should be assigned to items to where customers know where they are. It was insane that the customer service [redacted]s stated that we were not allowed to talk to the manager. Also, it is highly unprofessional if the cutomer service [redacted] can not tell me why there is no tracking number.

I purchased a [redacted] tablet on line from the nomorerack.com corporation in New York City for the sum

of $89.00 it was paid by my friend [redacted] of [redacted] with a credit card for christmas present for her.

What arrived was an unknown chinese tablet of name I never heard of before. It was literally an inferior piece of chinese garbage which you would have to see to fully understand. This was not the google tablet I ordered. I contacted the company telling them what happened. They assured me tha their vendor would rectify the situation to my satisfaction. What issued was a series of emails on a daily basis . They ultimately wanted a digital photograph of the computer tablet. I emailed it tto them. When they received trhe photographs I got an email back from them stating that any damaged or deffective item would have to be returned in 7-10 days. I answered their email stating that the computer tablet was neither deffective or damaged. I have collected enough evidence to institude a law suit and effectively persue insuing civil littigation. Ihave exhausted all my administrative optionsat this point in time. I would like you company to contact them directly as they responses will furthr provide evidence to the district attorneys office to persue felony fraud and felony false advertising charges against them. I would hope that the Revdex.com will act immediately and affectively to protect the consumers interests in a feduciary manner. Thanks so much for your help in this matter.

Sincerely yours,

[redacted]Desired Settlement: In order to affectively persue this matter the Revdex.com must exhaust their administrative options. I have allready exhausted my administrative options and am ready to institude a law suit. I will need the Revdex.com to contact them and request that they send my friend [redacted] the google tablet that they had advertised on their site for $89.00 . I believe they will refused to do this. This action will allow the Revdex.com to file an official complaint against them which will aid me in my insuing civil littigation and show the District Attorney Office in New York City that this Corporation was given all the opportunity to rectifiy this situation and refused. I will look forward to hearing from you. Thanks so much for your help in this matter.

Sincerely yours,

Business

Ordered Beats headphones 12/*/15 [redacted]. The item was promised by Christmas. After several emails that took days to get a response from, I was notified 1/*/16 that the item was no longer available and they would refund the $ in 5-7 days.

They charged my account $161.00 plus shipping 1//*/2016. You can't reach anyone live. Very poor customer service!

Review: I purchased a Nook Color on November *, 2013 as a Christmas gift. When the gift was opened on Christmas Day it had limited battery life. After leaving item to charge over 24 hours, it did not charge. I contacted Nomorerack and could not reach a live person. I received a response that was a computer generated email. I reached out to their headquarters on 12/**/2013. I filed my warranty complaint and advised them that I had contacted Barnes and Noble which was part of the package sold only to be told they could not help me as the product was registered to another party and should have been cleared of any information at the time it was refurbished. The claim was filed 12/** and I was told I would have an answer withing 5 days. After several days passed I contacted Nomorerack to be told they would expedite the request and call me as soon as the vendor responded. This was 01/**/2014. I received nothing. I contacted them again on 01/**/2014 to be told to contact warranty company, when I contacated them they asked me for information that should be found on the Nook. None of this information existed. I

was told this would have had a 30 day guarantee. I advised her Nomorerack sold it with a 90 day warranty. Hence I was told there was nothing they could do. I contacted Nomorerack again still to get the run around and told someone would email me. I was sold equipment that did not work, with a warranty that would not be honored and no information on equipment to get is serviced and repaired. I was scammed.Desired Settlement: I will return this nonworking item and I want an immediate refund
