I am experiencing terrible customer support service from DELL/Alienware I bought an Aleinware 15Rlaptop from DELL.COMI found the laptop CPU was overheating and contacted DELL support on June (within days of the shipping date on the packing slipDELL website indicates the laptop should qualify for a return within days of packing slip date)
Here is the whole incident :
05/08: received the laptop
06/04: contacted DELL support on overheating issue(within days of shipping date on the packing slip), agent denied replacement, offered onsite repair (service request #***)
06/07: third party technician replaced heatsink, but the laptop still overheatedagent (*** ***) promised a refund, but another agent denied refund and requested remote diagnosisAfter remote diagnosis, agent (*** ***) agreed to request an exchange pending approval
06/19: Exchange request denied by supposed senior agent (*** ***) who asked me to send the laptop

Dell has had one of the worse Tax exemption processes ever I have summited multiple tax exempt orders Months agoThe exempt department has given me problems just about every time We are *** *** *** ** *** ** *** also known as *** *** *** and they declare we are two different Corp This is the only company that has ever given us a problem The payment is made with a Company card and the item is sent directly to the church/Corp I want the tax refunded for all outstanding orders You have hundreds of dollars of collected tax

VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE WITH DELL
I ordered a Dell Mobile Precision Workstation XCTO on November and selected express delivery (between Nov and Nov 30)On Nov 30, I was informed by email that my computer was delayed and that it should be delivered by Dec 4-I decided to call Dell and had another surprise: my computer was not going to be delivered because Dell didn't have the parts and was offered to place a new orderThe two folks that I contacted first were in India and the third person suggested two different models to be delivered by Dec The models offered were far below the level of the computer that I orderedIt seems that Dell has no control of its orders and were quite irresponsible with its clientsPlease be aware that this can happen to you too

I placed my order on 11/28/The original date of delivery was 12/5/Since then it has been changed THREE timesThe latest expected date of delivery is 12/27/Every time I've contacted customer service (both by email and phone), I have been lied to that this next date is for sure going to be the day my order is deliveredI have taken off work TWICE in order to be sure that I could sign for my deliveryI am beyond infuriated with the way Dell's customer service has handled this

I have received numerous calls from Dell Network Service and have repeatedly requested that they remove me from their contact list which they have not doneThe only thing that changes is the number used from which they call

I purchased on new laptop directly from Dell months ago and have had nothing but problems with it I have had to call the customer service team numerous times and have spent many hours on the phone with them Some of the issues involve poor performance from the machine, the internet not working on my machine even though it works on other devices, and now most recently the battery will not charge All of this on basically a brand new computer, I have barely been able to use the device because of the poor performance and now I must keep it plugged into the A/C adapter to use it at all I have requested to return my product for a refund on several different occasions On the last occasion I was transferred to different departments times without being able to speak to someone about the refund I was referred to their customer care team which only operates during business hours and after several attempts to get through to that team I have been unsuccessful

I purchased a Dell computer in June of I also purchased the extended warranty In February of 2018, I noticed that with usage, the battery drained on the computer was very quickly I monitored the battery power for a couple of months Since the computer was still under warranty, in May, I contacted Dell to ask for a new battery I called several times and each time when I was to be transferred to a customer service representative, my call was disconnected After a few weeks of dealing with the calls being disconnected, I warned the customer service representative that I would file a complaint with the Revdex.com if they continued to disconnect the call I finally got to the next step and a file was openedDell signed onto my computer and said they would monitor it for to hours and then send me an email documenting their finds The email never came When I called back to follow-up, I was informed that the case had been closed for failure to follow up I was disconnected again I persisted in calling until I got another file opened They finally agreed that the battery was draining rapidly and agreed to send me a new battery When I received the battery from Dell, it was a refurbished battery I took my computer to a professional computer shop and had the battery installed I also mailed the old battery back to Dell as I agreed to do After fully charging the replacement battery, I realized that it was worse than the old battery I called to complain and a representative who identified himself a Raj gave me the run around for minutes Then he said Dell does not send new batteries as replacements and refused to send me a new battery I asked to speak with his supervisor Raj said no one was available to take my call; that I could not hold until the supervisor was available; and that he could not give my number to his supervisor and even if he did I would not get a call back Raj said I had to call back until a supervisor was available I explained to Raj that just as he was recording the call, so was I When I insisted on leaving my number, he said he had it and then hung up on me after telling me that I had to call back during the morning hours when they were not so busy After Raj hung up on me, I called back and was connected to Monica For the second time in approximately a month of dealing with Dell's customer service department, I was connected to a kind, caring professional She logged into my computer and within just a few minutes, she noticed that my battery power had reduced from 100% to 96% after being unplugged from the power source My computer is being monitored again The basic warranty expires before the end of the month It took weeks of calling to get a replacement battery the first time I have the extended warranty but who knows what Dell will say, if any thing, in the next few day I will not give up but it is ridiculous that customers are treated so badly

Dell told me the computer I purchased thru costco was out of warranty when the hard drive crashed I found out later that my computer was in warranty after I purchased a new hard drive from Dell The hard drive came and I installed it but it won't run because I wasn't supplied start up software Since then I've been on the phone "going on hours" trying to get this worked out and get a refund for the new hard drive

I have ordered and paid for a new Dell Xps sanyo li-ion laptop battery, they sent me a year old battery which was dead on arrivalAfter contacting Dell support and waiting weeks foor the replacement battery, they sent a battery that was two years and two months old it was also Dead on ArrivalI'm trying to go to school full time and work full time, I don't have time to get screwed around by dell again and again, like the issues I had with dell streak tabletsI need a new (made within days) battery or a full refund
