My Dell XPS began having issues holding a charge in November of 2017, the normally fantastic battery life of 7-hours went down to less than two hoursI had assumed at the time my system was much older than it is, because I've never had a battery fail prematurelyOn December I purchased the Dell power companion (external battery) from ***While completing my taxes I ran across my paperwork and learned my original delivery date was 12/8/and I would have been under warranty for a battery replacementUnfortunately I am now unable to claim thisI also learned that the Dell power command software had the battery is beyond its service life message is disabled in the software by defaultHaving this enabled would have notified me in advance of the issue as wellNow that it is enabled, every time I turn on the PC it tells me thisI am very capable of replacing the battery on my own as I have worked in PC support locally and upgraded the internal HDAdditionally

I bought a dell computer 4/17/It had warrantee for a year on hardwareThe power outlet port in the laptop fell in or disconnected inside the computer so there is no way to plug it in therefore no longer usableI called Dell yesterday and talked with customer service rep and manager and sent them a picture with the intention of having it fixedThey said it must be overuse or wear and tear and thats not coveredThis is not a computer that gets heavy use, not used for work, just at homeClearly part of inside of computer and not fastened properlyAfter telling me it wasnt covered, they said I could send it in to have someone look at it and would contact me whether it could be fixed and what the cost would be to me if they couldI consider this a waste of time and money to me on something that should be covered and clearly expected to getat least a couple years out of, if not more, and lasted under a year and was not reated to overuseI paid$in AprilAsking for $r

Just to note, I have filed a complaint with the State of California regarding the issue
On June 3, my computer started having issuesI documented the issues and ran the tests requiredThe computer would always reboot and crash whenever I ran a game or a graphic cards stress testI contacted support (the people were nice but no issues were ever resolved)Finally after testing and kind of getting the run around (they kept try to work with me during the day when I was at work even though I was suppose to have 24/support) they decided they needed my computer sent to themI have premium support with onsite serviceThey replied, "Your warranty does cover onsite service, but what happens is that the onsite technicians don't do any troubleshooting at all, just replace the parts that we send themBecause we are not 100% certain what is the part causing the issue, the best option for your computer would be to have it sent to the repair center and have our specialists do a full diagn

I ordered a laptop from Dell on 12/30/ Upon receiving the laptop, it was clear that there was an issue with the display and the computer would not read the graphics card I need the graphics card to function in order to use the program I use for my business I notified Dell of the problem and they first sent a technician with a new graphics card to see if that was the issue He took apart the entire laptop but it did not remedy the problem They then sent an entirely new laptop but it had the same issue Upon notifying Dell of the second faulty laptop, they told me they were aware of this issue with the model and that engineers were trying to fix the problem and that I shoudl wait for the fix At one point, my contact suggested a temporary fix to the problem that actually made the screen go entirely black At this point, I asked for a refund because I haven't been able to use the laptop as planned and I need my money back to purchase a working laptop I was then told that I

I purchased a pre-order copy of Red Dead Redemption for PSin November of 2016, and it was supposed to be released in I saw in November that it was still not going to be released, so I called Dell to cancel my purchase It was a total of $65.39., and I used a Dell gift card, and a Dell credit account to pay for the purchase At the time of order cancellation, I was assured that I would receive the refund in the form of a gift card, and a credit to my account Now, months later, they have not refunded a cent to my credit account, nor have they sent me a replacement gift card
I have had over telephone conversations, and at least emails with their customer service, and still nothing has happened

I recently reached out to Dell Support regarding an issue with my Laptop which is under warranty, I was not advised that the defective part needed to be returned at the time of processing Since that time I have received an e-mail from dell on 8/25/confirming the replacement part was ordered and then again on 9/5/advising "Unless otherwise notified by Dell, you are required to return the defective parts within days from receipt of the replacement" I responded to Dell that no one advised me of this prior to 9/and that unfortunately the defective part was thrown away, at this time I was advised Since the part was thrown away, the replacement has to be paid for so that the service tag does not go on hold The payment amount was $45.62, which I paid so that my Service Tag isn't placed on hold

I sent in my laptop to have the hinge fixedWhen I first called to schedule a repair I asked specifically to not modify any of the data on my computerI was told by the customer service representative that there would be a check box on the form that I was to check if I was allowing access to my dataI was told to leave it empty and they won't touch anythingI followed the directions and when I got a call from the repair person I also told them not to touch any data they agreedWhen I got my laptop back there were random files deleted including sensitive information I paid $in total for everything while I did get the laptop back with a hinge fixed they ignored my requests and deleted very sensitive information that I had to spend the next hours running data recovery to get backThat's like you hiring me to fix you window them tearing down the wall next to it, I fixed the window but caused damage that was unnecessary

I contacted Dell Customer Service to file a warranty claim against a refurbished desktop I purchased last year After speaking with tech support and running some tests, he determined I had a bad motherboard They did not have one in stock, so they offered me $to go buy one on my own with no other options While the warranty does give that as an option, I believe they needed to explain their logic in coming up with price I asked the tech support what specific motherboard I need for an exact match to make sure all components are compatible He asked me to search for a "Optiplex SDT Motherboard" When I conduct that search on Google and E-Bay, The results return prices in the neighborhood of $to $100, not $ If dell is not going to ship me an a board that fits the computer I purchased from them, I feel they need to find one that works and cover the cost of it including a sufficient warranty to test and make sure that was the problem $dollars does not cover t

I purchased a new desk top from Dell directly, it did not work correctly, so I spent hours with their tech support tried to download programs, doing different things to try get it fixAll failed, was told to send the unit in so they can fix itAfter some time, they send it back, I plug the unit in still does not workCalled and try to return the unit, but was told it's been over days and no returns will be givenSpent hours on the phone and got the run around with no one to help me resolve this (even their customer resolution rep told me he does not know what to do)I did wait few days in between all of the action because I have to work and have to do my job, fixing the problem on a new desk top does not pay me! Now they told me to send the desk top in again, spend the money and two months later, I'm still without a working computer!!!

I have purchased a laptop from Dell through their phone customer service in MarchThey setup a financing account with interest freeI have not purchased anything else afterwardTwo months later, there are mysterious charges of total $I called Dell and told them I did not make any purchaseThey called me back and said that it was optional warranty charge, they will remove it if we don't want itWe declined the warranty chargeWe never authorized such purchasesHowever they did not remove itNext month another additional charge of $appears in the accountI called their fraud department on 6/They put my account on hold and investigateThey advised me that no charges will come through during on hold / investigation periodHowever, more charges are coming through during the investigation periodI called and they said no worry I will not be responsibleAfter their days investigation policy, I received a letter that because they don't have my contact info, I

I purchased my Alienware machine back in February and it has never worked correctly from the beginningI had to reinstall Microsoft Windows immediately twice after receiving the machine just to gain functionalityI am extremely disappointed with Alienware with respect to this machineI honestly believe that I have received a lemonI have had BSOD (blue screens of death), several unexpected power shutdowns, and many program crashes over the three separate hard disk reformat using the same stable applications that my desktop computer currently supportsVirtual Reality consistently experiences issues on this machineI have had other Alienware machines in the past that I have been happy with over the years and they have not given me this much troubleThis is not the level of customer support that I expect when I purchase from AlienwareI have done the song and dance routine and reinstalled Microsoft Windows THREE times THREE separate occasions only to have the issues manifest the

I purchased a Dell XPS (model XPS 9560) laptop with year of Premium support on 12/7/for $I am a resident physician and need a computer for workWhen the computer is placed under processing load (and the fans are running), it shuts down without warningI will be in the middle of a task, the screen will turn blue with the words "Shutting down," and the computer completely turns offThis happens multiple times per day and has made the computer unusableThis happens despite the computer being placed on a cool flat surface without any obstruction of the cooling ventsA subsequent timeline is below:
2/4/18: I opened a Support Request will Dell though their Support Assist applicationI was instructed to run diagnostics on computer startup and the computer passed without errors
2/26/18: I was scheduled for a call back from Dell supportI waited for hours with no call back receivedI was later notified they were busy with another call and unable to call me

RE: Order #***
I purchased a high end Dell XPS laptop on Oct 9th, It cost me $ It was shipped and received at the start of November It was only recently opened and used a handful of times Since the first time it was booted up it suffered from screen problems Dell acknowledged this and told me to send it to their repair depot I had a one year mail in warranty which was good until Nov/ They (Dell) stated that they replaced the LCD, SSD Drive and re-installed the Windows Operating system When I received the laptop back it did not have the operating system loaded properly I tried to resolve this with numerous Dell technicians to no avail To add to my misery, I noticed that there might still be a problem with the "newly" replaced LCD I finally had to demand that this situation get "escalated" Dell had someone from their "Advanced Resolution Team" (Corporate), a man called *** ** call me to discuss the case He advised me righ

I have complaints
There is a very strange odor coming from my DELL laptop I have heard there is issues with some laptops smelling like urine I have allergies and asthma and while I am at the computer and for about hours after getting off I have BAD headaches and am concerned it may bring on my asthma
Also when I totally cut my laptop off and then repower it I get a message about the battery I am SCARED TO DEATH one day I will come back and ALL my computer information will be gone

This is a follto an earlier complaint I filed on 2/17/
The reason I am issuing a follcomplaint is simpleAfter the Revdex.com was responsive to the numerous issues I experienced with DellDell finally reached out to me over the phone and my bank refunded the $difference
However, now months later in April, Dell reached out to my bank and had that $WITHDRAWN from my account yet AGAIN! This is incredibly petty, dishonest, and unethical of Dell and I once again kindly plead, and request that the Revdex.com helps me out with dealing with DellThey acted as though the issue was resolved and then months later they come back and take money from my account again? Isn't that illegal?
Please keep in mind that I have called, tweeted, and emailed Dell on numerous occasions for both this issue and a resulting issue in which Dell locked my account and would not allow me to make purchases with Dell gift cards and rewards credit they sent me

I have had a broken computer at my home waiting for pick up for daysI have offered to drop it off, I have been sent at least two weigh bills which are wrong, I have been to purolator twiceDell has apologized at least times but cannot action my concernI have over emails logged and phone callsThis is our computer my wife works for the government from home as indicated a week ago

I have an alienware desktop Three weeks ago I started having a problem where the screen began going black (not the blue screen) and the computer would reboot After a while the computer would not reboot fully It started to reboot then quit after beeping Several seconds later it would try to reboot again and fail again It would keep doing this until I turned it off It never got to the Alienware startup screen The startup always failed before this point
I called tech support per the warranty The support rep tried to walk me through removing the battery on the motherboard This did not work He sent a tech to my house to replace the motherboard and video card The tech replaced the video card but not the motherboard He said that the motherboard was marked "refurbished" and would probably not work as it must have been returned before
After this tech left the computer worked for about an hour or two but then went to a black screen and rebooted This time the mac

I have Alienware Rlaptop, the crashed and will not power on, and it just got out warranty not long agoThe update popped up in the bottom of the screen via tool icon I hit update all, on update it was bois updateAfter doing the bois my screen went black and won't turn back on The support was no help at allThey want me to repair it at my cost when their update crashed and broke my computerThat's like being in a car crashed and the person that hit you was at fault and they want you to pay for the damages, that's crazy!!!

I purchased my computer November 27th, for $1,from Dell onlineIt arrived December 6th From the first day I received it, the mouse would freeze when using my electronic health record online and in other programsI reached out to their chat tech support and was told I would need to uninstall and reinstall the softwareI was unable to send the computer in at that time as it is my work computer and it was the middle of the holiday seasonMy step father tried to see if he could fix it by downloading proper drivers but nothing he did worked eitherToday 1/30/I finally had time to online chat again and figure out how to fix the problemI was told since the computer is days old I will need to pay upwards of $to get it fixed, despite the fact that I was sold a defective productThey said had I called earlier I could have had it fixed for freeI think they should fix the computer for free as it did not "break" after months or years of using itIt has been
