I have been trying to get a computer repaired for a month now The repair was attempted and made the issue worse due to bad replacement part Then I set up another technician to come out and they dispatched them to a different address then before Repair could not be made now I’m having to set up another repair attempt or send it back Also the customer support is terriable, they are hard to understand and can be very rude When I set up the last technician I requested that more than one part be sent Incase the replacement was bad again and was told they couldn’t do this This company has made it extreamly difficult to get the repair done on the laptop

In November I purchased a Dell Inspiron 15-laptop from Fingerhut and it was shipped from MinnesotaOn April 12, (just months after purchasing the laptop) I experienced speaker problems which I was unable to resolve and and on 4/13/I called the Dell TechAssist number and spoke with John P*** *** *** who was located in the Phillipines and I spent nearly minutes on the phone with himAt the time our conversation began my only issues with the laptop were speakers and the Network Adapter Driver (which uninstalled itself as I was calling Tech)After following all of the instruction given by the tech (which I repeated back to him before executing to ensure I understood) I was advised I would need to send the machine for serviceAfter completing my call with the tech I discovered that the hard drive was no longer installed, which was not the case prior to the callExcept for the speakers and internet driver, the laptop was otherwise function just fine!

I was having trouble with my alien ware computer, which had to be replaced already by DellI contacted customer service and they informed me that they could not assist me with my issue because my warranty was out of dateThey then transferred me to the warranty department where I then paid $to update my warrantyAfter I had paid the money to have the issue fixed, I was then told by the technical support agent that the current issue would not be covered unless I then paid several hundred more dollars I was not informed of this practice before being lead to spend over dollars

I placed my order on the Dell Website on November 1st 2017, order number and the product is an Alienware RlaptopThe original estimated delivery date of my product was November 15th and I have not received my order as of today December 7th
My order is shown online saying it was canceled and when I contacted the Dell customer service, no matter via phone call or online chat, those customer service people can just told me that my order was cancelled because of the "processing error"However, they can never elaborate or be more specific about what that error actually is
When I chat online, the online people would say they do not have access to my order and direct me to call the modification departmentWhen I called the modification department, they were saying they do not know the reason why my order was cancelled and they could do nothing about it, and told me if I still want my order, they could forward me to the sales departmentWhen I talked to the peop

I ordered the item from Dell website on the 10/25/and they shipped the same day as a two day shipment (expedite) with FedEx 2Day
I got provided with tracking number *** and checking the status on FedEx website that keeps saying PendingIt's Sunday the 3rd of November and the item still not delivered and still saying pending
Contacted FedEx and they have no idea where the item is and no any information that they could provide
Called Dell several times to ship me a replacement or refund my money, and they just keep ignoring my requests

On February 24, I called Dell because I was having problems with my computer not chargingI spoke with Mr*** ***I explained that I was having problem with my computer not chargingHe wanted me to connect the power cord to the computerI explained to him that it wasn't the power cord because I just purchased a new power cord a couple of days ago, He wanted me to connect the new cord anywayHe asked me to power up the computerI explained that the battery was very low, and the computer might cut off, so I power up the computerHe told me when the computer come on keep hitting the FbuttonI did what he askedNext, he told me to go down the list and find AC on that pageI told him that the AC on the page stated that the power cord wasn't detectedThen he told me to cut off the computerNext, he told me that he needed to check to see if it was a software problemI told him again that it wasn't a software problem because the computer was working fineHe insisted

This complaint is regarding order # *** that I placed on dell.com in May,I purchased a pair of headphones but returned them a couple of days later because of their incompatibility with my deviceIt has been a month since Dell sent me a confirmation that they have received the returned item but I have still not received my refundSince then, I have contacted their customer care times by chat and once by phone (customer service rep hung up on me)Every time I get told that they have placed an expedited request for my refund but I still have not received a refundI would like to get my refund and report Dell for their terrible customer service experience that I have had to go through so far

Hello I setn my system for repair times so far ..Each time they replaced my motherboard and saying issues fixed and blaming on battery for other issues I complainedI know that my battery no longer in working condition I am using system solely on power so I shouldn't face these issuesFirst times they simply replaced my mother board and sent back the systemWhen I had issues again I explicitly requested to change other components also or else at-least consider for system replacementAs iam already end of warranty period iam not comfortable receiving system with same changes again and experience issues down the line after couple of weeks at which time dell can refuse my service requests based on warranty expiration (For my 3rd service request they have to get approval which was with in couple of days receiving system

I purchased an item using a gift card The dell agent messed up on the item and put in the wrong shipping zip codeSo the item bounced backThey made another order of the item and for some reason they cancelled that orderI requested a refundThey refunded the portion that was purchased with my credit card but the gift card portion wasnt refundedThey told me that since the gift card expired I cant get refunded
Originally they were supposed to give me a $coupon that was almost the amount of the gift cards I used (it totaled about $109)I agreed to that and waited about a week (it should have been 3-days) and emailed them that I didnt get the couponI finally got response days later that it wasnt approved

I purchased a laptop with Microsoft officeThe laptop did not come with an activation key to activate Microsoft officeHave spent several hours on the phone attempting to get an activation keyThe best they could do for me was to send me one via mail that they have now cancel the order forThis is an activation key that can be emailed to meTechnical services has told me they normally just email the activation key out

I bought a Dell computer and received Windows After six months or so, I found out
it was only a temporary version of Windows and now I am operating my system
for the most part without it encountering a slowing down of functions and
many other problems

Working to resolve a technical issue with Dell was by far the worst customer service experience of my lifeThey were rude, unhelpful, petty, and unknowledgeablecustomer care is out sourced and to add to our frustration we could barely understand who we were speaking withOur computer was experiencing a mother board issue ( keep under consideration that the lap top was only months old) but as it is our livelihood we did not want to send it away for the minimum of week period to have it repaired as we as a household can not afford to miss a half months incomeThis was repeatedly expressed and repeatedly ignored as we were bullied into sending in the computerWe had to contact geek squad who advised us on how to correct our problem by performing a factory reset and we were able to conduct the reset and our technical issue self resolvedTHANK GOD WE DID NOT SEND IN OUR COMPUTER!!! If tech support had only listened to our initial request we would not have spent the entire day on the phone arguing with a company who is under warranty and supposed to provide assistance, not a headacheI would NEVER recommend Dell to anyone I knowI honestly don't know how they remain in business with the horrible customer service they provide and low quality over priced productsWOULD NEVER RECOMMEND

I.bougbt a refurbished Inspiron in laptop from Dell Outlet which comes with a year warranty The hinges on the lid that are used to switch it to tablet mode have come out of alignmentThe laptop has not been damaged, but just used dailyI called Dell Technical Support and told them the issueAnd they said it is not an issue that is covered under their warranty

I purchased a Dell Inspiron laptop in February of 2017, and it had been working fine Two weeks ago, I started getting messages that I needed to update my BIOS I didn't know what that was, so I looked it up I found many complaints from others that the BIOS update had crashed their hard drives, so I decided not to do it as it wasn't necessary for my computer I kept closing the messages when they would pop up Today, I came in to find that the computer had started running the BIOS update automatically I didn't want to do anything with the computer mid update since that seems to be what causes the hard drive to fail The screen went black, but the keyboard stayed lit up I tried turning it off and on, but the same thing happened each time I called Dell support for help, and they said they would send me a box for repairs Because my warranty has just expired, they want me to pay for their extended warranty to fix it The representative was combative about my insistence that

When I purchased my computer, I was offered software at a discounted price along with the purchase The software was Corel Paint Shop Pro X I opted to purchase this My computer arrived and everything was fine with thatBut the software would not install I called customer care at Dell Friday 3-3-They remotely controlled my computer and attempted to download and install the program with the same error that I had They told me that the Software Department would need to help with this I was transferredSoftware remotely controlled my computer and tried times to do the same thingThey concluded that the software was 32-bit, but my computer was 64-bit and these would work togetherThey said that the customer care department would need to fix the issue, by getting me a product key for a 64-bit version of the same software program I was told I'd have to call back Monday during business hoursOn Monday 3-6-I called late, but still during business hours Customer Care

Not sure I will ever buy Dell again
After buying many systems over the years, I purchased a very high end PC at the Dell outlet store Now these systems are supposedly refurbished and tested and they sell them at a lower price than new because of them not being new
My system had two hard drives, serial and solid state
Now having bought several PC's new and even having built my own, I know there is sometimes a period at the start where you get used to everything I migrated my data and my programs over (which took quite a long time) and while a lot of the things about the pc were good, the load speeds at the start and during reboot were really slow At first, I saw the system was doing a lot of the windows updates but after those were done the system was still slow I investigated everything and finally realized that this "tested" system had the OS loaded on the serial drive and not the solid state This was really dumb
Needless to say I was pretty mad ha

I bought a brand new laptop from Dell online last December When I first open and used it (Feb 2017), I immediately noticed the poor battery performanceIt only lasted hours and minutes compared to their claim that it reaches up to hoursAfter I called them and several back & forth servicing, troubleshoot, parts replacement and depot repairs on my brand new purchased laptop, I'm now stuck with hour and minutes battery (3rd replaced battery)
They are now giving me 1cell=20minutes explanation that my current hour battery performance is working perfectly and trying to suggest that there's nothing more that they can doEven a refund is not an option because they cannot refund it due to their beyond 30-day refund policyThey want me to accept this defective laptop even with the fact that my initial complaint was a 3-hour poor battery performance from my original stocked battery
I did some more research and Intel processor company claims that thi
