Dick's Sporting Goods manager and I have spoken on two occasionsOnce they offered to credit the installation cost and committed to having the installation completed properly.The installation company came to my home and leveled the rimWhile here at my home the person adjusting the rim advised me of a defect in the product that was installedAccording to the installation agent (employee of the installing company) the two piece pole system has a creased running from the bottom to the top (on both pieces of the pole system)I was contacted by the installing company June @ 3:35pm asking additional questions about this defect in the productI was advised they would be in contact with me to get the pole system replaced and properly installedI contacted a member of the local stores leadership via text on June 5th advising him on the statusHe responded,advising me that he was not in the office but would be calling me the following day at noonHe did not contact me the following dayI made another attempt to update Dick's Sporting Goods local store leader ship that as of June 15th absolutely no response or progress in replacing the defective pole systemThere is absolutely no commitment to correcting the install of what I have been told is a defective pole system,making he entire basketball goal system unstable and wobbling after simple short range shot attemptDick's Sporting Goods and the Installing company are both aware that the issue is not resolved and have been aware of this since June 5, [redacted]

Dear Revdex.com,We are very sorry for the poor customer experience MXXXX has encountered Our records do indicate that MXXXX emailed our Corporate Customer Service Team initially back on 8/18/and did not get a response within hours We did respond on 8/24/offering a $gift card for the coupon that was not granted at the store MXXXX replied validating the mailing address and requesting a $gift card in return.At that point our Corporate Customer Service Team had no further correspondence with the customer It appears that MXXXX contacted us again via email on 9/8/inquiring about the gift card Again, no further response was sent to MXXXX.Once the Revdex.com complaint was received the Supervisor of Customer Service called MrXXXX directly to address this matter A voicemail was left for MXXXX apologizing for the delay and poor experience when trying to contact Customer Service.The gift card for $was placed in the mail on 9/29/with the expectation that it would arrive in 7-business days.We are truly sorry for the breakdown in communication with this matterWe are certainly thankful it was brought to our attention and will use this as a coaching opportunity to prevent this from happening again.Sincerely, Dick's Sporting Goods

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The refund was applied to a gift card but the store also took our debit card (to supposedly charge ~$in tax, which was already charged on the online order) The whole value of the order was placed on this Visa I left the store with a full gift card Once I figured this out, I called again to charge the gift card and remove the Visa charge I have been waiting for this refund for nearly two months now It has been escalated to the bank, who is conducting an investigation I have all supporting documentation and ticket numbers from online calls I'm sure there are audio recordings and store video footage as well I will continue to pursue a resolution with Dicks until I get my money back I will not accept their "resolution." I'm prepared to speak with whomever necessary to get a resolution as I'm tired of waiting and sick of the back and forth with dozens of people who refuse to help me get my money back At this point, it is essentially stealing $from me Regards, [redacted] ***
