Please add your rejection comments below. Dear Sir/Madam/Office of the Chairman:Although I am glad that I am receiving your response, it has been a long time since any action has been taken on the bank's part to resolve my problem. The Office of the Chairman at Citizens Bank has indicated that the problem is under review and a response will be sent out to me directly. With all due respect I prefer to continue to manage this problem with the Revdex.com involved as a mediator. As I stated, there has been no previous action taken by you (Citizens Bank) to resolve my issue until the Revdex.com became involved. While I am still concerned that no fraud detection was activated during the ATM fraud of which I was a victim, and that the thieves were able to withdraw nearly $2,000 in less than 24 hours (despite having a significantly lower per-day cash limit on my account), Citizens bank replaced the stolen funds within just a few business days.  I'm not confident that I would have received the same level of treatment had I not filed complaints with Revdex.com and CFPB, and posted my concerns on [redacted] and [redacted].  Nevertheless, I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #[redacted]. I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved.

It is a great disappointment that the bank “considers this matter closed” after taking no action and making no effort toaddress their misdeeds.Our detailed and careful notes on all correspondence with the bank (by one of us who has spent more than 20 years working in the banking industry) clearly show that the bank made an increase in the agreed upon interest rate without any re-disclosure or amendment to the construction/permanent mortgage loan commitment letter through any means whatsoever.  The bank claims that verbal notification was given, which never happened – a factthat is completely documented by our detailed and careful notes.  Not to mention the fact that a verbal notification of any increase in the agreed upon interest rate without any written re-disclosure or amendment to the construction/permanent mortgage loan commitment letter represents truly unprofessional, unethical and deceitful behavior by the bank.  Despite these facts, the bank refuses to do anything to address their misdeeds.We hope Revdex.com will take appropriate action.  We hope no one will ever have to experience what we went through, which is far more likely to be the case if one deals with Citizens Bank, given the bank’s stance in response to its misdeeds in our case.  We will look elsewhere for any future banking needs and, based on our dealings with the bank, we strongly recommend that others do the same.We are seriously exploring legal options, although our pockets are not as deep as those of Citizens Bank and they seem content in taking no action and making no effort to address their misdeeds.  Once again, we hope Revdex.com will take appropriate action.  We have also reached out to governmentagencies to do the same.Regards,

I am aware of the refunding of the overdraft fees and such. But I am not going to close this complaint until I am reimbursed the fees incurred with having to have my paycheck direct deposited elsewhere during this time and having to pay fees to remove funds when I wouldn't have had to do so if my acct. hadn't got " screwed up. " The total for fees incurred for withdrawing funds totals $10.50.

I have been with the company for over 10 years for almost 10 years maybe I asked for help or a credit 2-3 times. Recently I have lost my job and my bills were still being paid by auto pay by my checking account. I have been paying with autopay for years and completely forgot about it. I called to ask for some help and was given none at all, I asked to close my account so no more fees would pile up and they would not close my account so I filed a claim and someone offered to help and take away the fees the only issue is I was still without a job. I asked if I can just have one day to put the money into the account because I would have to borrow the money to put it in and even it out. He removed the fees, the next day I went to the bank to put back the exact amount I owed and there was a new fee, I did not have enough to cover the new fee and knew if I only put in what I had and came back the next couple days the fees would pile up again. I was still not able to close my account making more fees pile up. Over ten years and I ask for help and get the bare minimum, I have been nothing but a good client and have referred plenty of people to the charter one/ citizens bank branches and all that for a lack of customer service. "On the phone. Online. In branch. When you need us, we’re here to help. The way we see it, it’s just good banking. " Where is the help? Where is the good banking? I am not longer with the bank regardless of what they want or say or do or don't do since I asked to close my account multiple times but they would just rather keep it open to pile up fees that I can not afford to pay.
 Desired Outcome: Would like all fees waived and I will pay what I owe only $125.00 and they can lose my 10+ years of loyalty due to lack of customer service. All I wanted to do was get things back to even until I find a job once again and I can get back to how we were for the first 10 years. But now I just want this nightmare to be over with.
