[The business refuses to address the lack of customer protection from fraud.  How can a customer spot fraud, if the bank cannot?  The bank withdrew the funds from my own account after four days (which is greater than the two standard). They state that the two day wait is to ensure a "five point check''to assess for fraudulent checks.  As a customer, I assume this five point test has some validity.  If it has none, make the funds available ASAP and NOTIFY your customers that the check return is then their own responsibility.  Otherwise the bank should accept their part of the responsibility.]

Please add your rejection comments below. The matter was not addressed AT ALL. Please advise that multiple attempts at communication occurred and were either ignored or Citizens did NOT HONOR their side of the arrangement. They were to update [redacted] and creditthe money spent on new checks as I was not informed by any Citizens representative that the account had a negative balance or that it had been investigated and the case was closed.

I spoke to the chairman [redacted] they did refund me 140 but I got 2 more overdraft Dewan over that this has created a terrible ripple effect I've been negative for over two weeks now this took them so very long. I have defaulted on many many other bills due to not being able to pay them I had to cancel auto debit on everything that was going to hit now I owe 35$ fees with all the other credit card companies because if citizens and I can't afford to pay that. Just so I didn't keep going negative in y bank account. Citizens owed me everything not just the overdraft fees I still went negative the money the bills cost too as if today I'm still 205$ negative!!! And three credit card companies in late and owe a late fee now   Regards,

He, by no means tried to address my issues. He started the call off wanting to blame me, which immediately put me on the defensive. He didn't want to listen to me or my problems. He explained the issue in the terms they wanted it, not the way it was initially years ago when I opened the account, and by no means did he try to help me. I thanked him for making so much money off of me and hung up on him. He wasn't trying to help, just blame me.Regards,

I have already gone through this process.  Your "research" is not going to resolve anything.  Your customer service representative pressured me into opening up multiple accounts that I did not want and performed transactions on my account that I did not want (immediate withdrawal and deposit of my HELOC).  It was as if he was incentivized to do these transactions very similar to the [redacted] scam.  I clearly told him verbally that I did not want accounts with your bank other than the HELOC, and will not be using any of them, and if he opened them for me that I did not accept any monthly fees.  I was told by him to deposit $1000 into the checking account he was creating to avoid any monthly fees, which I did.  Since I did not want these accounts and never planned on using them, I never checked in on them until I received a notice that the I overdrew the checking account due to 4 years of monthly fees.  I believe I was pressured into opening accounts I didn't want and mislead into thinking I did not have monthly fee.
