 Complaint #[redacted].  Citizens Bank promised to send a reply by letter, and was working on an approval, see prior correspondence.  However, I've NOT received ANY correspondence, nor have I received ANY satisfaction.  As far as I am concerned, this case is still open, as NOTHING has been resolved.

As I previously stated on my rebuttal to Citizens Bank -- Office of The Chairman, there are three very distinct actions the bank took for which they are directly responsible:1.  Citizens Bank Underwriting Department and Loan Officer [redacted] FAILED to notify the applicant in a timely fashion (April 25th, 2016 or 45 days after contract signing on March 10th, 2016) so that he could back out of the contract without incurring penalty fees from the seller -- in this case $6,500 with a possible impact of 10% of the total contract downpayment of $132,700. 2.  Citizens Bank Loan Officer [redacted] was notified multiple times before April 25th by both the applicant and the buyer's attorney for a status update to receive VAGUE responses that underwriting was still working on the application with no determination of when the decision would be reached.  This was a direct legal contractual obligation that Citizens Bank had to the applicant which they FAILED to deliver on time. 3.  Citizens Bank Upper Management claims to have thoroughly reviewed the documentation provided but indicated through the last two letters that [redacted] sent to me that they found NO BANK ERROR.  They simply state they "are sorry" that it took them longer than the 45 days stated in the contract but assume NO RESPONSIBILITY for the lack of ACCOUNTABILITY on the contract dates which are of essence to both parties to complete the transaction.  4.  Citizens Bank claims that the non-disclosure of my rental property in Mexico was the cause for the delay but they provide no EVIDENCE that the Loan Officer [redacted] correctly explained to me what I was supposed to place on the Uniform Loan Application which to my understanding only included United States owned properties.  The bank instead puts the blame on me for failing to fill out this information when it was not explained to me correctly in the first place. 5.  Citizens Bank has extensive Revdex.com complaints with extensive evidence that they have done treated customers similarly in the past and assumed no responsibility for the financial ramifications to consumers.  This again shows a lack of conducting business transactions with transparency. 6.  I was made aware by my attorney that the Loan Officer [redacted] disclosed without being asked confidential application information that is considered Personal Identifiable Information (PII) that falls outside of the bounds of his license as a Loan Officer in New York without my approval.  7. Loan Officer [redacted] failed multiple times to provide factual timely information and transparency to my lawyer who was charged with ensuring I did not BREACH the contract with the seller.   These multiple failed attempts which were solely the responsibility of Citizens Bank Loan Officer [redacted] ended up costing me $6,500 of my 10% down payment.  He DID NOT contact me directly to state the final underwriting decision on May 6th, 2016 -- 10 BUSINESS DAYS after the contract offer expired.Citizens Bank Underwriting and Loan Officer [redacted] knew very well that they were VERYLATE to the decision and made no attempts to own responsibility or follow up in their lack of timely execution.   Revdex.com:

I simply want to add that in the time I messaged the BBC there have been two other unsatisfactory occurrences on my account -1) Citizens charged me another overdraft fee despite my account showing as charges pending when I transferred money from my savings account to checking, by the next morning citizens had pushed those charges through and delayed transfer of my my funds in order to charge me an overdraft fee. The citizens app is the worst mobile banking system I have ever used and is set up to unfairly trick citizens clients because at one point in the day the app will show items as cleared, then they revert back to pending then cleared so it is impossible to keep track of finances.2) I made a deposit via the mobile app of 3183 on August 3rd. The money was meant to clear on August 7. Guess what? Still hasn't cleared.
