Poor quality product and horrible customer service
In 2013, I bought a leather couch and love seat a from City Furniture onlineA few months ago, parts of the couch started peeling off onto my floor, which calls into question the integrity and quality of the productsIn October 2018, I contacted City Furniture numerous times to discuss the warranty and replacement/repairAfter over a month of attempts, I finally got a hold of somebodyThey agreed to replace the furniture but balked once they learned I lived out of state...even though they ship anywhere across the USI offered to travel to Florida but they would not agree because they wanted my jacked up furniture (which I am putting out for the garbage people to get once I get a new couch from another store)It was an all or nothing offer, no compromise or customer serviceThe representative was snippy with me as wellI understand both items were out of warranty but nobody offered to assist with repairsI have advised my ma

They don't want to replace the items,give a refund or fix the issue permanently

The problem began recently started when I looked the chairsI paid over $for those chairs and it is not fair that I have to look at these damaged chairs

Mislead in warranty when we purchased as well as warranty booklet and having issues with warranty compliment with dining table and chairs
On July , we purchased a living room and dining set form City Furniture invoice XXXXXX, when they offered the warranty program they explained to us it was very good and as an example they told us it covered scratches, burns, peeling of leather etcthey also gave us a booklet cover stating the same, It is very broad and not specific( as to what type of scratch or tear) I can submit a copy if needed The issue that we are having is that the dining table has numerous scratches as well as wobbling and the chairs the screws come off as well as sling back and of the chairs on were your back touches has tears in the leatherWe went thru the process of submitting a claim and got notification received on September , at which time they informed us that someone would contact us , We needed to be calling them and finally someone called us t

Beware: FRAUDULENT SALES PRACTICES!
The management at this specific store will say
ANYTHING to make a sale, including lying about deliveries and giving guarantees they cannot or will not keep
My daughter is moving out of state to begin a new job and had a very specific delivery window in which she could accept delivery of furniture between the date she arrive and before starting work She and my wife were promised by the Ashley Furniture managers that there would be no issue getting the delivery in another state on the dates she requested (purchase made April 19, delivery window June 9-12)
They lied
Not only did they lie about that, they never even informed the delivery company of the very specific delivery datesafter assuring that they would do so
Four times we have told them to cancel the order and we requested a full refund So far they have delayed and stalled and have yet to cancel the order They are trying to delay this to the point where we can no longer

Its been almost year since I paid City Furniture in cash for a product it still has not delivered Getting bad information and no real answers
City Furniture in Boca took my order in person, my money in cash and to this day still has not delivered my product I get the run around every week, with every conversation and the amount of time I've spent trying to deal with this has been ridiculous I've dealt with Juan for almost months who is the manager at Boca...while calling back is not his specialty....he put me in touch with Karen in customer service, who is very nice but is not really helping me with anything I want to file a complaint because I believe that this company is not doing the right thing and it needs to be addressed so this type of issue does not happen for anyone else in the future

On 12/28/purchased two Delilah Gray end chairs on invoice # XXXXXX for $900.00/ $ea, When delivered one piece was boxed and the other was not, when questioned, I was told it was removed from box in truck to make room in elevator I did not think anything of it, the two ends where positioned and attached together and placed against the wall On 3/24/I purchased an additional at $ piece called Wedge which is a corner piece and converted shaped to an "L" shaped couch I stated to notice that one of the original pieces which is now against the corner piece and I can see the back of it is very faded and color does not match, as I looked at it from the front I noticed all the cushion covers have the same faded look and is wearing more than the other two pieces I reached out to City Furniture and was told they do not cover discoloration and no other option or sendi

We spent over $for a sectionalThe arless piece that fits in the middle has been a problem from day oneHad a service person come out and he said it would correct it selfOver time it keeps getting worseI called to get the situation resolved but no one seems to careThey tell you have a year warrantyI guess the financing is longer that the integrity of the sofaSpoke to Ashley ex XXXXX, left messages for Lori Hoene ex and Mike id executive support and no one would help to resolve my problem

I purchased three leather sectional chairs at City Furniture and was told that they were genuine leather (as opposed to bonded leather, which is of lesser quality)The chairs cost $each and total purchase for the three was $1,plus tax and delivery chargesThis was part of a larger purchase as wellI had spent several thousand dollars for furniture there
These chairs are covered under a one year Manufacurer's WarrantyAfter ten months of the purchase, two of the three chairs are wearing at the seam points and other places becoming discoloredThese chairs are used only occasionally by adults and are well treated
When I contacted Customer Service, I was advised to send and email explaining the problem along with picturesThey said this was not covered and that I would have to pay for a home inspection and also to ship the chairs for repair if they decided to do soThis is terrible customer service and apparently City Furniture does not stand behind their productThe told me that if I had purchased an additional warranty and service contract, it would not have been a problem
This is very upsetting and unfair treatment of a repeat customer, who has spent over $5,at this store

We purchased a sofa from Ashley furniture last year with a stain removal planWe recently got a blind dog who unfortunately marked the couch on several locations to help him learn his way around the houseWe called about the Warrantee and after waiting an hour they sent us another product to try to remove the stainWhen that didn't work I called again and waited minutes to speak to someone and was scolded for not calling with in days which I had with the previous callThey documented all the stains and after waiting weeks to get someone actually out here to remove the stains they were unable toI was then told that they would replace the pieces that were marked (over 80%) of the sofa but that they could not guarantee the colors would match with what was left of the sofaAdditionally it could be up to weeks to get the pieces which I will have to store and once all the pieces where in they could then set up the 3+ hour installationBut again the color match is not guarantee

MISLEADING REFUND AND RETURN POLICIESTOLD AN ITEM COULD BE RETURNED IN HRTOTAL LIE
IN OCTOBER WE REPORTED A DAMAGED KITCHEN TABLE PURCHASED, THE TABLE WAS NO LONGER AVAILABLE SO WE DECIDED TO EXCHANGE THE TABLE FOR A DESK AND ADDED A PURCHASE OF A DESK CHAIR THE ITEMS WERE FINALLY DELIVERED ON DECEMBER 24, 2018, ONLY FOR US TO REALIZE THE CHAIR DID NOT FIT PROPERLY WITH THE DESKWE ATTEMPTED TO REFUSE THE CHAIR WHEN ADVISED BY THE DELIVERY SERVICE THEY WERE NOT PERMITTED TO TAKE IT WITH THEM BUT THAT WE HAD HOURS TO RETURN IT TO THE STORE FOR A REFUND WE TOOK THE CHAIR TO THE STORE TODAY AS THEY WERE CLOSED ON CHRISTMAS, ONLY TO BE TURNED AWAY AND TOLD THAT THE CHAIR NOW BELONGED TO US BUT WE COULD RETURN A $ITEM ONLY WITH A $RESTOCKING FEE AND NEEDED TO PURCHASE ANOTHER ITEM FROM CITY FURNITURESO FAR, WE HAVE HAD A SUBSTANDARD KITCHEN TABLE THAT WAS DAMAGED AND RETURNED, AND TWO DINING CHAIRS ALSO DAMAGED AWAITING REPAIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL I HA

I purchased the Carver Microfiber power reclining sofa from Citiy Furniture and it was delivered on 3/9/By July all cushions were bubbling and peelingI contacted the service department and they ordered all new replacement cushions from top to bottomThese were installed at the end of September Again by the end of October they were already bubbling againI contacted service, this time they sent someone out to inspectThe person who contacted me "Enrique" was rude from the very first phone call up until he left my houseAfter almost months of scheduling issues he finally arrived and looked at the sofa and asked what he was doing there!!! White bonded leather sectional falling apart
We purchased a white sectional bonded leather sofa from City Furniture in Miami in We apparently also purchased the warranty for I believe $which at the time we were not even aware that we were getting and paying for a warrantyIn the late spring of we noticed a couple of cracks in the bonded leather which quickly escalated over the summer to heavily cracked and pieces of leather coming offIn January I went to the same store where we purchased the sofa to inquireThe sales person told me there was nothing he could do as our warranty had expiredThis is the first we even heard about having a warrantyHe said that actually they did not even carry the bonded leather any longer as there were so many problems with it , thereby admitting that they had sold us a product that was faultyHe said he could credit us $for the warranty if we bought a new sofa thereWe declined, because why would we buy another faulty item

On January 24th, I contacted MrDustin Bartko at City Furniture and made the complaint After many unfulfilled promises to replace the items, I contacted the Finance department on February 14th and made a dispute with Ray at Genesis Credit Ray recommended me to go to the store and request a full cancellation of the purchase Today, February 19th, I approached Dustin Bartko with that request, and he couldn't contact the accounting department, and promised to have a pick up date by Wednesday February 22nd

I called customer service last week and explained the situation and the rep basically said if I do not have in home service I would be charged the technician fee to come to my home again which did not resolve my issue and here I am stuck with this piece that is not working as it should
