General manager sold me a more expensive mattress because he said they didn't carry the other model by the same company
I purchased mattresses on 1-17-from City Furniture with the understanding I had days to try the mattressAfter days, my wife and I decided to upgrade our mattressWe went to City Furniture in Naples Florida to purchase a mattress they showed on their websiteOur salesman, which is also the general manager told us they only carry the firm version of the mattressTheir website only shows they carry the plush version.(the one we wanted) He talked us into buying a more expensive mattress and said that it was more plush than the one we were looking atWe bought that mattress and found out later that it was far firmer than the mattress we wanted(Not recommended for side sleepers) After calling City Furniture customer care, I found out they only carry the plush version of the mattress we wanted(the complete opposite of what our salesman told us) City

Lied to, and sold a useless $umbrella that won't give shade where it should do
I bought umbrella, one for $and one for $from City furniture as part of $order that I got from them couple months ago
The reason for the umbrellas is that my elderly mother can't sit in the sun because of her health condition
The $umbrella that I was told that its the best in the market and that it will give us the shade we need and will never move from its spot once we get sand for itWe found out after buying it that the umbrella can't stay still in one direction for minutes!!!!!! and the wind will take it all over the place, and my years old mother can't put such a heavy umbrella back to position
I contacted service and they sent someone who looked at the umbrella for minute and said sorry nothing we can do??!!!!!!!
The store called me and I expressed my frustration and asked to return the umbrella but they told me, too bad!!! No returns??!!!!

Terrible Customer Service
If you need to use the warranty they never call you back and let you stay hold for more than minutes

I bought a bed from city furniture it was whitethey delivered it on labor daywhen the driver took it out of the box it was filthy full of handprintsthe driver called customer service they stated they would call us backnow two weeks have gone by no call I have called them twice get the same response we will call you backif I don't get a response I will take my bed and personally deliver it to the wellington store show room this is the second time they do this to methey suck at customer service will never buy from there again invoice

The delivery drivers never showed up and the company did absolutely nothing to resolve the issue

I received a drawer chest from city furniture on July 16th (though I ordered it months prior and delivery date was changed twice so it was recvd months later than it was originally promised)

I need to report a very serious incident in july of I bought a $Berhardt leather sofa from city furniture (along with several other items from city and Ashley on the same order) The day the items arrived I immediatly noticed the sofa was scrathed and damaged I called city and reported it and was told they would deliver a new one
For a year I called and called and noone ever brought me a new sofa the leather within months of having this sofa ALL came off.!!!! the material was so defictive that the leather came off and the sofa went from dark brown to light cream color the sales lady who sold me the sofa told me that even though I did not buy the warrenty that they would replace the sofa if I came to the store and picked out a new one
So when I went back to the store I was told that the sofa I had that was defective was "discontinued month after I bought it"!! I then had to go back into the store and buy ANOTHE
