I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.A representative, [redacted], has reached out to me but once I called her back to speak with her, I have not heard a response back yet. I continue to pay the amount that Navient has asked for and my amount I am up to today is $216.12 per month.

The only suggestions I get is either to pay it or apply for forebearance/deferment which then they tell me I'm not eligible for.  I don't understand why they are not being held accountable for sending out wrong information every time they send something.  I've never had this issue previously.

I...

have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I have not received anything from Navient on this matter.  They called me on July 2nd, and I was in the mountains for my birthday and didn't have adequate cell service to discuss the matter and the rep told me she would call me Monday July 6th.  I never received a call back. After researching further into my claim, I have found that Navient has also failed to follow the terms in my Master Promissory note by not allocating my payments correctly.  My MPN states that my payment will be allocated first to late fees, then to all remaining unpaid interest, then anything remaining after that will be paid to principle.  I have found that I have over $600 in unpaid accrued interest due in my loans that have not been paid.  Navient as had my loans for over two years and they have been allocating my payments partially to my interest, but also a significant amount to my principle, when it should of been used to pay off unpaid interest.  I am worried that that accrued interest of $600 will be capitalized back on my account.  I don't understand how a company contracted through the dept of education can act in such a reckless manner without discipline.  I have read countless articles against their practices and most recently read about a class action lawsuit filed against them for charging active duty personal interest while abroad, when that too is protected in the MPN. There needs to be stronger laws to protect students in repayment who are not in default and have followed the repayment terms.  I have logged 10-15 hours of time into dealing with their fraudulent ways and have not accomplished a single thing, when all i'm trying to do is repay my student loans without being taken advantage of or being told I can not determine how my money is applied to my loans.

I received a phone call from [redacted] at Navient on 9/4 at 2:13pm. I have called her back twice and asked that she return my phone call and/or provide me with a contact time, time zone, and means to reach her. To date, I have not received a phone call back nor have I received any further communication. I would be willing to sign a waiver so that the Revdex.com can assist with resolving this and the information can be released directly to the Revdex.com or sent to my Navient account for quicker access.

Hi,  I am not sure what it was that I accepted.  Has this issue been resolved?  I am currently still receiving mail from the fraud account as well as incorrect information on my current student loan repayment agreement.  The name and date of birth and SSN is incorrect.  This is not ok and I really hope that the Revdex.com can help me resolve this asap.  Thank you.

[redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I was contacted by [redacted] from Navient ([redacted].  I have been receiving phone calls requesting payment from ECMC ([redacted]) which is the collection agency for Navient.  They are stating that I am on a minimal timeline to start paying them before my wages are garnished.  That time period is up this week.  I have reported this to the voicemail of [redacted] and have not recieved a return call.  This is a time sensitive issue and I feel the timeline has not been taken into consideration when correcting Navient's error.  The longer I have to wait to have this issue adjusted, the more damage will be done due to the negligence to solve my issue in a timely manner.  I am requesting that Navient notify ECMC [redacted] of their error and stop the collection while they waiting on the re-purchase of my loan.  I need to ensure that there will be no further action or damage while this problem is being resolved.  Thank you for your assistance.

Problem:Navient violated confidentiality and my privacy and the fair credit reporting act. I requested a co-signer release from Navient on a 10 year old student loan and they claim I still don't qualify. My cosigner is in poor health and needs to be released. If you look at their pre-qualifying requirements. I am an executive and have had a stable job making over $90,000, I have a doctorate and an MBA and completed all of my programs. I am not in default, I am not a payment plan with them, more than half of my credit cards had 0 balances at the time they pull my report and my federal loan are in the process of being consolidating which do not impact this loan in anyway. I have not missed any payments of this loan either.I meet all of the qualifications. They claim that after 10 years and paying the loan for the last 3 on time that I do not qualify. They first stated in a letter I received in June 2015 that my income was insufficient,. I told to submit more documentation regarding my income and when I did that they came up within even excuses. They claimed to have a dispute committee but it never made it to this supposed committee which does not exist. hen after I demonstrated that the my income ($103,000 year annually) was more than sufficient then they stated 5 other things in my credit report that were not accurately. I called to speak to a representative who was not polite and who claimed my large federal loan which has nothing to do with this loan was too big and I needed to pay that one down significantly first before they would consider releasing my cosigner. They continue to make it every excuse to keep my cosigner tied to this loan. They have now issued a letter detailing what they claim was in my credit report to my cosigner with out my permission and violated my rights and confidentiality as again they are trying to make the case that I don't qualify even though they state that credit is not entirely of their decision and again I meet all of their other criteria. Some of their reps have any made statements that they would go after my co-signer's estate. The claim about going after her estate was made in a phone in October 2010 and was stated in several calls over the last 2 years while getting trying to get her released. They even claim in a letter that I did not make 12 consecutive payments and have made the payments. They refused to take me out of their deferment when I asked them not to defer my account and refused to give me a regular payment amount. They kept making the claim that my account was paid up. Their practices are illegal and unethical and they need to release my 77 year old cosigner from this debt that she will never have the ability to pay. They violated confidentiality as they had no right to disclose to my cosigner anything that the claim was in my credit report as I requested the co-signer release and I filed the better business report. This continues to mislead the cosigner, her family and creates more conflict on trying to get her released.Translate    Desired Outcome:They retract what they have sent in the form of false information to my cosigner regarding my credit report and they need to release her form the loan. I have already filed formal complaints with the FTC and State's attorney General.

I...

have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I have received nothing at all regarding my complaint in the mail, as Navient claims. They assigned my complaint to someone named [redacted], who has made very little effort to contact me. He will call once while I'm at work, then when I call back, sometimes in as short of a time as 15 mins. later, there will be no answer. I have left numerous voicemails and sent a number of emails letting him know I'm trying to get ahold of him, to no avail.During this time, myself and my family members are being harassed by Navient's numerous call centers. This is around 20 calls per day, and 7 days per week. When we answer,'most of the time nobody is there. When there is someone there, we have told them that we were assigned to work with [redacted] and are happy to resolve the matter with him only, and the person on the other line either gets belligerent or they say okay and then we immediately start getting the same calls from a totally different number. The people we have talked to often don't even know who [redacted] is.I am happy to work something out with Navient but due to the harassment, unknowledgable employees, withdrawal of unauthorized funds taken from my account, and their not being able to give me a clear answer on what my payments are OR show me where my money is going, I want to speak to one person only, and I want my payment plan in writing. [redacted] either needs to contact me to work this out, and make a real effort to do so, or someone else needs to be assigned my case. The belligerent, harassing phone calls need to stop.Regards,
