I would like to reserve the right to keep this matter open at this time. A Navient representative did indeed contact me the day after I raised this issue with Revdex.com and I am very grateful for your support (otherwise, I would not have had such a quick response). She informed me that, as a first step, she was going to send me documentation/accounting for the past decade. I am yet to receive the information and I would like to have the opportunity to review it. I also believe that the documentation will raise additional concerns about how Navient distributed the $110K they received from me over the past decade and I don't believe Navient will be as willing to resolve/respond to these concerns without the Revdex.com's oversight. Thank you in advance for your support.

The mail that I received has not given me any new information. It only states that I am not eligible for the rate reduction program becuase I have taken on more debt. It appears to me like a canned email, and in my opinion is it only a way to circumvent the Revdex.com Complaint process. It does not address my issue. There is no definition on how to become eligible or other options offered for a reduced payment. It does not make sense that I would not be eligible becuase I have taken on more debt. It makes sense to me that I would be more eligible because I have incurred more debt for such necessary things as medical bills (higher credit card balances). This issue stems from the fact that I was misled by them that I could extend this program by just calling at the appropriate time. (which I'm glad I did) If I was told a year ago, that I would have to apply and qualify for it, I would have tried to make different choices where I could. Or in the very least tried the best I could to 'retain' my eligibility status for this program. My payment in essence is being increased over 40% in one month, with only a 1 month notification (Less if I would not have been proactive and called) I need a path, or plan to have my payment lower that what they are proposing. I've moved as much of the debt as I could away from Navient because Great Lakes(one of their competitors) has 'Much' better customer service, and offered me a graduated repayment plan. Where my payments start out low and increase over the years. (allowing for time to adjust, get raises with my employer, etc...) I wish I could have moved all the debt away from Navient, or they would at least care enough to try and help, with programs like Great Lakes offers.Regards,
[redacted]

Problem:This is the second complaint I'm putting through Revdex.com. The first complaint was done 3/8/17 and sure enough Navient called to "fix issue". Since then we have tried to contact them and give them information they need but the representative doesn't call back nor email back when requested. We have tried multiple times to get them to fix the issue but at this time they lack the follow up. In addition they are forcing my son to get the application signed even after the fact the company my son works for told them it doesn't pertain to him; but they continue to force him to sign something that doesn't apply. We gave them a phone number for the company my son works for so that the company can explain to them but they don't even make an effort to follow up. It's been almost a month. Ow and no resolution and soon enough they would ask to get paid the $50 again. This is ridiculous and acceptable and we need resolution soon. This is a student loan and they are not putting an effort to resolve it.Translate Desired Resolution / OutcomeDesired Resolution:Other (requires explanation)selectDesired Outcome:We need them to approve the fellowship deferement form as all the paperwork has been provided already. We need the Navient to close this master within a week of this complaint.
