I am rejecting this response because: I spoke to someone last Wednesday. The status of my account has not changed. He said he would review my account and call me back on Friday. It is now Tuesday and I have not heard anything. It should not take over a month to review an issue so minuscule. This is ridiculous.

I am rejecting this response because: This is a generic response that does not address the issue at hand. While a representative of PennyMac did contact me, they simply stated that they would research the issue and get back to me by Thursday January 21, 2016. I have yet to hear from them. The fact that the lien remains in effect indicates that they have not resolved the issue. This means that I still cannot refinance my house and the hardship of trying to pay my monthly mortgage remains. Interesting enough is that if I cannot pay my mortgage, PennyMac stands to benefit from their mistake by collecting on the lien that they should have released in June of 2014.

The Fair Credit Reporting Act requires us to report factual and accurateinformation to the National Credit Agencies we report to (Trans Union, Equifax,Experian, and Innovis). for example, they are asking for July bank statement when July is not closed yet! In addition, they are making the closing number wrong. I tried to email them to correct it; however, they refused to answer me! It is totally unacceptable!
