I am rejecting this response because: Like I said before, your salesman Ryan knowingly agreed to reduce my rate to run advertising with Clipper magazine again and now for Ryan to save face, he is denying what he agreed to. I will personally contact every HVAC contractor in this area and all your advertiser's in the local Clipper Magazine and let them know what kind of business Clipper Magazine runs and I will let the website Rip Off Report know that I was ripped off by Clipper. I will try my best to let what happened to me at Clipper be known throughout the whole upstate of SC.

The customer was set up to pay their balance on a payment plan to pay off balance.  We did not receive payment and the customer was sent on to a third party for non payment.  Any further communication to reconcile the balance needs to be with the third party collection at this time.

I am rejecting this response because:  It has been stated that I chose to take the credit given to me from Deal Chicken.  It clearly states in the "screen cast" messages enclosed in the last reply from Deal Chicken that I was offered the credit- I did not request a credit.  I requested a refund!  I understand I am not going to get anywhere with them, they have said they will not issue a credit to my credit card- even though they were able to in May/June for $594...  But suddenly they have no way to refund my credit card.  I am upset with their customer service, I will be sure to share my experience with their terrible customer service to friends so they do not end up with the same problems I have!  Thank you for taking the time to listen to my complaints with Deal Chicken.  If it prevents one other person from wasting the time I have, then I will be satisfied.

We know that you stated you would like to move forward with the remainder of ads on your IO.   We prefer to exercise our right to cancel the remainder of the Insertion Order.  See the Cancellation/Termination Section of our Terms and Conditions that reads: “Clipper reserves the right to terminate any insertion order in part or in its entirety at any time with or without cause.”
 
We will credit the remaining balance on your account of $220.50. Consider this your notice of cancellation for the ads scheduled to mail in November 2014, February 2015 and March 2015.
A statement reflecting your credit will be sent for your records.

I am rejecting this response because:  The paid value for the certificate was only $5.00.  I purchased the certificate valued at $25.00.  I cannot take my family there for $5.00.  I do not want to use $5.00 at the location.  I want my money refunded.  I Paid for a $25 certificate that was supposed to be able to be used from 9/6/15-3/5/16 however, the business wasn't opened from December until March 11th so basically I couldn't even use certificate for 3 1/2 months that it was supposed to be honored.  When I contacted Local Flavor I was told I could still use promotional ($5.00 value) even though the $25 was expired.  THIS IS NOT what was paid for and advertised!  You can say something is valid for x amount of days then change that by over half and say "OH well you can still use $5"  I just want a refund for FALSE ADVERTISING.  I paid for use between 9/6 - 3/5 NOT from 9/6 - until mid December!  If they get away with this they can continue doing this to thousands of people with different certificates.  It's not right.

have not had resolution with clipper magazine as promised on their response to the complaint they offered originally to return my money when I file the complaint they offered me credit on their website and my response was no I wanted my money back because I no longer want to do business with them I have never heard from them since I did email them and I called and left messages and I last told them I was going to go ahead and file a second Revdex.com complaint right before you contacted me so no it is not resolved and I have not received either the refund or credit on their site what I want is my money back as requested and as promised. thank you [redacted]

After speaking with Tom B[redacted] VP of sales,  there were two occasions that he did speak to the customer to resolve this issue.  He did supply the customer service needed to resolve the customers complaint (speaking to them on two occasions) regarding the ad, by offering a 20% discount and then a 33% discount.  The customer refused to accept the companies options that were applicable in this case.  The desired settlement of a full refund is not an option for resolution to this complaint.
