Good Morning [redacted], Unfortunately, I cannot make this adjustment on the website but I have passed this request on to management. In regards to your redeemed certificates, because there are multiple ways to redeem certificates and sometimes merchants do not use any of them (they just check off a checklist when certificates come) in we have no way of knowing definitively which of your certificates have been redeemed and which have not. The merchant not DoubleTakeOffers is solely responsible for the deal. We are only the advertiser of the deals.

that are unredeemed or are only partially redeemed. We have reached out to the merchant to remind them of their obligation with the unpaid value and there is nothing else we can do at this point as customer must take it up with the merchant.
Customer originally contact us on 4/10/17 claiming merchant would not honor his cert. A site credit was offered and accepted as the form of refund per policy. We then received an email from customer on 7/4/17 indicating he wanted to use his credit to purchase [redacted] Restaurant but...
he did not want to pay more than what he paid for [redacted] certificate. He had used a $5.00 off promo for the [redacted] purchase which was not refunded as we can only refund what he paid.Customer calls 7/5/17 and now asks for credit card refund claiming he went to merchant who is now out of business.Customer was already refunded site credit prior to merchant going out of business and has the site credit available to purchase other deals on LocalFlavor. There is nothing additional we will do at this time and consider this matter resolved.
Good afternoon [redacted], Thank you for contacting LocalFlavor. We have looked into this for you and it does look like you did speak with someone in our Customer Service department on October 20, 2015. We have attached the conversation for you to view...
below;[redacted]
In speaking with us we do find only one certificate in your account [redacted] and were happy to offer either a site credit or credit card refund. Per the conversation you decided on the site credit. [redacted]
Our records indicate the we credited these funds to your LocalFlavor account on October 20, 2015 [redacted]
We apologize that you were under the impression that you were going to receive the promotional price of the deal, however we are only able to credit or refund a customer back the amount that they actually paid for each deal. In this case it was $5.00 as you used a $5.00 promo code. We do not credit or refund for promo codes. Please let us know if there is anything else we are able to do to further assist you.Regards, LocalFlavor Consumer Loyalty Team

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
The "store credit" offered to me requires that I continue to make purchases with this merchant.Their selection of offers has become stale. They no longer offer anything I want.Given their lack of response to my request (until they received the Revdex.com complaint), I no longer wish to do business with this merchant. The only way they can make this right is to provide an actual refund of my purchase, either as a credit to my payment method, or as a check.
Regards,

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: No check has been received as of this date. A check would NOT have been issued if it were not for the complaints filed with the Revdex.com, Consumer Affairs and the State Attorney. The misconduct of this company is now well documented and what of the reimbursement for all the time sending emails to their official address or calling their official telephone number when they knew these telephone number and email customer service contacts were a sham as documented by my complaint. Their email replies didn't even apply to my complaint about the worthless certificates that I was seeking reimbursement. Think of the rest of the public that can't make the dedicated effort of the very many hours that I have to bring this deceit to light. As you can see, offering the check ( which I accept as a token payment for their misrepresentation, attempt to unjust self enrichment and trickery that cost me many hours of time to get here today) should be just the start of the reimbursement. When you look at all their emails and even their last reply, no one should have any doubt that they would NOT have returned the funds they collected for the invalid certificates without the extensive filings to detail their misconduct.
Warmest Regards and Best Wishes,
[redacted]

[redacted],While we are sorry that you feel you were mislead, review of all documentation and speaking to the sales representative, we see that you have signed the insertion ordersfor the advertising you received and approved the pricing as well.Your ad price has actually decreased in the...
history of your doing business with us. Your claim that the sales representative has lied is unfounded since you did approvethe ads to run at those amounts. I see that your account is up to date on paymentreceived and we appreciate you taking care of paying off your balance with us.(There was also a 114.00 credit given to you on your second ad)Unfortunately there is not a free ad in the future for you as we have upheld our obligation.
