Review: I bought my child a tablet for Christmas in November on Black Friday. my child got the tablet for Christmas had it until February [redacted] when I had to pay to send it back, and for them to send it back to me. I didn't receive it until around late May. that tablet messed up again. It was a newer model,and they paid for it to be sent back. I was told by customer representative that I should have not receive that one and that I should have received the newest tablet out since they were having trouble. I cannot get in contact with them and any kind of way none of the phone numbers work. and in 3 months it will be a year that I purchased my tablet and I've had it for a month and a half total. I am very dissatisfied.Desired Settlement: I want a tablet that's going to work and at least the same size or bigger than the 2nd tablet . Or my money back and for the time that is lost for a Christmas present that was never played with.

Review: I sent a Coby Product in for warranty repair in April 2013. After 60+ emails, numerous phone calls, the company is unresponsive. I have copies of all correspondences..Desired Settlement: I would like to have my device,

Review: On 5/*/2013, after contacting Coby's customer service department, I returned two Coby Kyros MID7034-4's for replacement according to the one year warranty. I was told to also include a money order for $30 ($15 per tablet). I was told it would be 6-8 weeks from the time of receipt to have the new tablets returned. After 8 weeks I called and spoke with someone in customer service who told me that the tablets were ready, but had not been shipped yet. A week later I called, but the message on the customer service number ([redacted]) was now a recording that said to visit the website and then disconnected. I visisted the website and tried to use their "Drop Us A Line" email feature, but it didn't send, so I sent emails to their consumer care email address ([redacted]) from my personal email address. I received no response. Since then, I have continuosly called the customer service number and sent several more emails, all with no reponse. I have even tried to call their corporate office at [redacted], but this number too goes unanswered. I have paid $30 for return shipping and $162.35 for the original tablets and would like them back, repaired or my money back.Desired Settlement: As of this moment, I would really like my cash back. That would be $149.98 for the two tablets, plus $12.37 for the sales tax, and the $30 return shipping fee for items that were never returned. That's a total of 192.35. I would settle for the having two new tablets in working condition, but fear that they would be as defective as the originals and I would have to repeat this cycle in the end.

Review: I purchased a coby kyros tablet in December 2012, the screen shattered and I purchased $45 money order and paid to send it back to be replaced. In March 2013 I received the 10" replacement. In April 2013 the new tablet stopped working. It would not turn on and would not charge. On May **, 2013 I purchased $15 money order to ship back for another replacement. I should have receive it back around July *, 2013 and never did. I have emailed technical support, customer service, and called customer service. July *, I spoke with customer service and they said it was ready to be shipped out but had not been shipped yet. I called back on July * and the gentleman said they had not received any current updates from Coby and did not know what was going on and he gave me the headquarters number. I have called and nobody ever answered and when I call back to customer service number it is now a recording saying to visit website. I continue to try to contact someone and cannot get in contact with anyone. I am very upset because I still have no tablet and have spent over $150 between buying tablet and paying for repairs. I would either like a new tablet or a full refund for tablet plus reimbursement or the $60 in money orders I purchased thinking I was going to get a tablet that worked.Desired Settlement: I would like to have a tablet that works to replace the one I sent back so my daughter has the tablet that was purchased for her so please just send me a refund of $150 and I will purchase a working tablet from another company.

Review: I sent My notebook to get repaired to Cobys returns tablet,notebook. Have not heard anything else. I pulled up the name of the buisness the address of it. does not exsist.Desired Settlement: I would like the computer back

Review: I purchased Coby Kyros Tablets for my two sons for Christmas. In April I sent in my oldest son's for warranty service after speaking with Coby and they directed me to send it in. I called them in July to check the status and was told that it was going to be shipped back to me the next week. I also got instructions on sending in my other sons tablet as it was needing warranty service as well. Both of the tablets charging connectors were defective. It is now September and I have not received either tablet back and When I call the listed phone numbers I get a recording on one directing me to their website and then it hangs up. The listed number for headquarters is disconnected and another just rings and rings. When I email I get no response.Desired Settlement: I want my sons' tablets replaced or repaired and actually sent to me. I would like a phone call from a supervisor along with good contact information where I can check the status of the progress my tablets.

Review: I called in July in regards to a Colby electronic tablet that I bought for $229.00, which is still under warranty. The phone number that I called is ###-###-#### and spoke to a [redacted], he gave me the info that I needed to return the tablet. I was told by my e-mail that he sent to give the reason for returning the tablet, $15 money order made out to Colby, my Name, address, phone number, and my e-mail address. I mailed the tablet, July *,2013. I have sent e-mails and everytime I call, I get a recording telling me to go on line and send an e-mail. Now the site for the e-mail will not receive e-mails. I have not heard from anyone since.I am on a fixed income, all I want is for them to send me another tablet. The $15 money order is to pay for a return shipment. In looking for the business,no business is found at this address. I hope this person is not using the business for his personal gain.

Review: I shipped my Coby Tablet for repairs on June [redacted] and have not heard anything back. I have called, emailed and have spoken to someone at corprorate headquarters who informed that she would investigate and get back to me and that was 6 weeks ago. I am in need of my tablet and at this point I want my money back so I can purchase a different brand. I also sent them a money order for $15 to ship it back. Review: I had purchased a Coby Kyros. When it did not work, I called the company. They told me the procedure that was required to send the device in to be fixed or replaced, I. e., send in sales receipt, send in a money order for $15.00 for return shipment, original box if possible (it was). This should take 4 to 6 weeks. That was in the middle of April. It is now August and I still do not have my tablet back even after repeated telephone calls (only reached a human being once and he told me that my tablet was in the shipping dept., that was on July *) and repeated emails with no response.Desired Settlement: I would like my replacement. Review: Talked to someone at Coby Elec Corp on 4/1*/13 because the tablet I purchased 11/**/12 stopped working. He instructed me to Return the tablet and a copy of receipt along with a $15 cashiers check to Coby Returns/Tablet [redacted]. Review: In April 2013, I mailed in a 7" Coby Tablet along with a $15 money order, and my sales receipt as per the directions of the Warranty with the Coby company. The tablet had a broken piece where it should charge and they said it was covered and would be repaired and/or replaced. I allowed 6 weeks and then checked in with the customer service people to see the status. I have been given excuse after excuse and told we were getting a completely new tablet and it would be expedited around July [redacted]. I have called many, many times and been given excuses as to why it hasn't shipped. This has been going on for 4 months now. Now the company has a recording on the phone number for customer care and it says to visit their website. ###-###-####. The website has no place to ask questions or get help, the tab has been disabled. I heard rumors they are going bankrupt. Is this true?Desired Settlement: I want to know how I get my $15 back and potentially my $89 I spent on that tablet? It is not acceptable for them to take my tablet and money and not have to at least return the $15. I am very upset and would like to know what to do?

Review: I purchased a Coby Kyros 9.7 in. Tablet on Amazon on February [redacted], 2013. The unit broke in April 2013 and I called their support number ###-###-#### and they told me to send it in for repairs. It took 10 weeks to get it back but they fixed it. Now, 7-**-13, the unit broke again with a defective power jack. I tried calling the number again but it is always busy. Always!! So I went on their website and it says that you have to call Technical Support at ###-###-#### before you can send a unit in. When you call ###-###-#### you get an automatic message saying to go to their website for support!!! Unable to get contact anyone, I emailed their [redacted] and got no response. I then emailed their [redacted] and did not get a response. So I find myself with an unusable tablet that I bought for my autistic son and no one to answer my call to get it fixed under their 1 year parts and labor warranty.Desired Settlement: I would like to either get a new or replacement tablet or get my money back. Review: I Contacted customer service support to request an rma to return a defective coby tablet . I received a Case# [redacted] and instructions to return the tablet along with a money order for $15.00 us currency for return shipping. I mailed the tablet and money order on march **/2013 . I have contacted coby support on several occasions both by email and telephone. The last email dated 7/**/2013 1:41pm said they would check on the case and give me a status update in a few days. I emailed them again today and as of yet received no response. They have assured me that they received the tablet and I have verified it through tracking. I feel that four months is adequate time to resolve the issue.Desired Settlement: I would like an apology and explanation as to why it is taking so long to resolve this issue. I request a full refund along with shipping costs I submitted as I have already replaced the tablet due to the lengthy time it is taking to resolve this issue. I would recommend to the company that they find a better way for customer support to track returned merchandise. Customer support could only tell me that they received the tablet and were un able through the case # to tell what was happening with it.

Review: I purchased a 23 inch Coby LED Television from a retailer on October ** 2012. It is now having problems, with a blurry screen along with green/black vertical lines. I read the warranty, I believe it covers warranty parts for the television for 1 year. I tried to contact the company to discuss and resolve, via the phone number from the warranty disclosure ###-###-####. When I called the number, it refered me to go to the website CobyUSA for warranty and support, then disconnects the phone call. However when I go to the website, it says to call the same phone number ###-###-####. So I emailed customer support at [redacted], with the problem on July [redacted]. I have not had any response from the email.

Also I tried to call the phone number listed on the Revdex.com website for the company, ###-###-####, today, Wednesday at 2pm and only get a busy signal. Also I tried to call customer service at ###-###-####, today at 2:10pm, and still only get a busy signal.Desired Settlement: I would them to contact me, so that I can send the TV back for repair.

Review: I bought a dvd player and it is turning on but not playing. I called the 800 number on product but it does not work. I went to website and called 877 number but that does not work either. I even tried the 800 number listed when I started to write this from your website and it does not work. I emailed them 3 times to no avail either.Desired Settlement: I want them to ship me a new working dvr and to fix their phones asap so as not to dupe other consumers.

Review: I purchased my Coby Tablet December of 2012, my tablet stop working April of 2013. I called the Coby warranty/customer service department and followed the instructions I was given which was to send a Money order for $15, a copy of my original receipt from HH Gregg (the location I original purchased the product) and the tablet. I was told it would take 4 to 6 weeks. After the 6 weeks I called the same warranty/customer service # and was told there was a backlog from a storm that disabled the warehouse. The following week I was told the warehouse was moving to California and my tablet along with other was shipped there. Another week passed and I was told they was waiting for the replacement inventory to come in and that I would be getting an upgrade model because the model I just purchased was no longer available. My next excuse form Colby was that there was a problem with the manifest at the warehouse so my unit could not be shipped out on July [redacted] as it was scheduled but it will be shipped during the next shipment but they did not know when that would be. I called that same 800# and there was only a automatic response that said to visit [redacted]. I purchased the product thinking it was a quality tablet and I took what Coby issued in writing under there warranty guidelines as they would stand behind their product and send the replacement. Coby has not stood behind their product and the company is a FRAUD!!!!Desired Settlement: I would like an immediate phone call or email along with either a refund or the upgraded replacement that was promised. I would like these things ASAP as I have already waited 4 months and that is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

Review: I bought a Coby Tablet online from Toys r Us. It froze up within a couple of weeks and I emailed Coby customer support and was told to send it back to a [redacted] location with a $15 money order and they would ship me a new one because it was defective. I shipped it to [redacted] location and it was returned to be with a CLOSED sticker. I called again and got a second location to ship it to in CA and it was returned again. I have tried every number and email that I can find and no response from emails and no one will answer the phones. I need my product now and I think they have gone out of business. I am out $75 for product, $15 money order and $12 shipping!Desired Settlement: If replacement isn't an option I want my money back!

Review: On June **, 2013 my husband contacted Coby Electronics because we have a TV that was missing a TV base and we wanted to purchase a replacement. My husband called the company and talked to [redacted] instructed him to send a $25 money order and the product information to COBY Electronics [redacted]. We sent this on June [redacted], 2013. I assumed that it would take 4-6 weeks to process so when we did not receive anything by the end of July, we called to see what the hold up was. After going through a series of disconnected numbers and voicemails directing us to their website, we finally were able to talk to an actual person who said that they were in the process of switching warehouses. Due to the switch in warehouses, we gave them a few more weeks. We called back in mid August and was told that they are closing some warehouses and were bought out. They were not able promise us that we would get a refund or if the new company would send us the requested base. They really left us with no answers and refused to promise us anything but told us that they need to wait and see what the new company would want to do. It has been another month so I thought that they would have it figured out by now. On September [redacted], 2013 I called the company at ###-###-#### and left a message asking them to follow up with our file. They did call back and again could not tell me if they are going to be able to supply the product or if they will refund us the money.

The woman apologized and said that this has been going since April. My response to this was, if they could not promise products, why did they promise us the stand and take our money in June. She did not have an answer to this question.

Review: On June **, 2013, I mailed TWO Coby tablets to the company for repair/replacement as per the warranty instructions. I included everything that they required, including a $15 money order for return shipment. The second $15 fee was waived as it was a 2nd repair. The warranty states that repairs/replacements will take 4-8 weeks.

As the 8 week mark was approaching, I emailed the company to inquire into the status of my tablets. My email went unanswered. I've since emailed several more times and they have all gone unanswered.

I made numerous attempts to phone the company, but am greeted with a pre-recorded message directing me to their website.Desired Settlement: I would like my TWO tablets returned in working order, or TWO new tablets sent to me. I would also accept a refund of both tablets.
