Review: I purchase a Coby Kyros MID 7036 Tablet. Its touch screen was broken the second day itself. I mailed it to Coby Savannah, GA address along with a money order for $45. I spoke to [redacted] before sending it. I mailed it on May [redacted]. On July [redacted] When I called I was told that an upgraded version tablet is ready to be shipped. I havent received the tablet. Now I cannot reach anybody on phone. Most of the numbers are not working. I would like to have my tablet back. and want to hear from Coby.Desired Settlement: I would prefer a replacement item or full refund of money I spent on tablet.

Review: Bought a Coby tablet that had a year warranty on it, it only lasted a few months and froze up, so I did what they told me and sent them a $15 check to cover the cost of return and my tablet...... sent it the end of May around the [redacted]....... said it would be back or a new one in 6 to 8 weeks, waited and didn't receive my tablet back........ called and they said they received it and I would have to wait to get it........... It is almost November, they don't answer my emails or phone calls, and I am out a $89.88 tablet, plus tax, plus extra warranty ($9.99 from shopko where I bought it, and my $15 that I sent for return........... The product malfunctioned. I was told by [redacted] to send it directly to Coby because it was under warranty which I did. Received an email from [redacted] on February **, 2013 with a request to send a money order of $15.00 to Coby Returns/tablet [redacted] (which I might add is now a CLOSED facility). I immediately sent the money order along with my tablet and never got another response or confirmation from the company. I called the customer service line and was told that my tablet was received and processed through their warehouse and that I needed to call back in 3-4 weeks and when I called back I was told again to call back 3-4 weeks because it was still in the warehouse. In early July 2013 I was told that it would be shipped out in a week or two and I have not yet received my product and all contact phone numbers are no longer working. I paid for the extended 2 year warranty as well.Desired Settlement: Refund as this company is not honoring warranties for repair of faulty products. I want a full refund for the product purchase, The $15.00 charge and the 2 year extended warranty as well.

This is the worst customer service I have ever received. I mailed my tablet in to be fixed with my cashier's check on May * while still under Manufacturer's warranty with the requested cashier;s check of $15. It is now Aungust [redacted] and I still have not received or heard anything about my tablet. I received no updates whatsoever. When I called to get an update on July [redacted] for an update, I was told that they were running behind and that I would get my computer back shortly. When I followed up about 10 days later, I was told they had no idea when I would I get my tablet because they have not received any updates from Coby. I emailed and called the headquarters with no response. I have very valuable pictures on my tablet and would like the tablet repaired and sent back to me with return of my cashier's check for poor service.

I have gone on the Coby website to get an updated information, but still no pertinent/useful information.Desired Settlement: or finish the job

Review: Purchased a Coby tablet for Christmas 2012 and have not been able to use it since. Called them several time in the beginning and they tried things over the phone but nothing ever worked. On May ** was told to send it back because there was a recall on that particular one so a new one would be sent. On May ** I sent it back and was told to wait 6 to 8 wks. So after that time called them back and was told that the warehouse was moving and nothing could be shipped out to wait another week. So By July ** I heard and rec eived nothing so I called the number I had was told that they didn't know when the warehouse would be ready and that they couldn't even tell me anything about my tablet as far as shipping it out or any status on it. I was frustrated and told them to give me a supervisor number so I could just ask for a refund. The numbers I was given were either not available, no longer in service or been busy for 2 weeks.Desired Settlement: Refund so I could purchase new one somewhere else, will not be purchasing anything from this company and will pass the word to others.

Review: I received a Coby Kryos tablet at Christmas 2012, within two months the charging connection in the unit broke. I returned it to the California center, as instructed by their customer service, along with a $15 money order, at the end of May. I have called several times and been given several answers, the first time I was told it had shipped, the second time I was told it was at the warehouse ready to ship, the third time I was told it was waiting to go to the warehouse to ship. I now find they have discontinued their toll-free number and refer you to their website, I sent an email asking for an update and have received no response.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the unit replaced, it was a gift from my teenage daughter, she can't easily afford such a cost for something that works for 2 months.

Review: ok I had a 19 " led coby tv for christmas last year so I was told to send it back to the manufactor they said it would take 4-6 weeks for the tv to be fixed so I was calling every little while to see if they got the tv and stuff was talkin to them in june 2013 they said the tv was on its way by courier to my house they said allow 2-3 weeks delivery called two weeks ago they told me to call back in a week so I been trying to get a tracking number they say theres none availand when I call there im always getting a busy signal so I can not speak to customer service to see where my tv is located to and ever since the bigining customer service didnt have no actual writing if it was being looked at or anything they always say ill call you when we hear back and never doDesired Settlement: I would like a replacement of the tv and for waiting so long I think I deserve the price of the tv back

Review: I purchased a COBY sound bar CSMP90 in December 2012. It stoped working in March. I sent the defective soundbar and necessary paperwork to Coby service center per their instructions. I included a $10 money order for the cost associated with returning this repaired sound bar to me. I was told it would take 4-6 weeks to repair and return. I called to get an update on the process only to be told that they had no information and to call back later. This went on for over a month. Now they wont answer their phones or return e-mails. I do not have my defective sound bar and they have my additional $10 money order.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of $100 for the sound bar. I no longer trust the company to repair the product effectively. If not a refund I want my repaired sound bar.

Review: My daughter-in-law purchased a tablet for me for my grandson. It was purchased on her credit card thru QVC and was delivered to my address, and I paid for it. It was purchased for Christmas 2012 and the invoice date was 12/**/2012. There was an one year warranty thru Coby. I returned the tablet to Coby on 4/*/2013 and they received it on 4/*/2013. The address I mailed the tablet to was [redacted]. The reason I returned the tablet was because it would not hold a charge. It worked for a while, then it just frozen. While my grandson was playing with it, it would just stopped. Sometimes it would start back and sometimes it would not. I called Coby and was told to return it, along with a money order for $15.00 for return postage and the reason I was mailing it to them. At that time, someone from Coby was answering the phone. I talked to someone on 4/**/13 and they stated they had started working on it. I called 6 times after then checking on the status, and each time I got another reason. I finally got the tablet about 7/**/13. The tablet worked for about three weeks and it started doing the same thing again. I tried to call, (###-###-####), the same number I called in March 2013 and the telphone number in the booklet for warranty information. This time I was not able to talk to anyone. The message said to contact [redacted] and file a complaint by e-mail. I filed the first complaint on 8/**/13 and never heard from them. I re-filed the same complaint on 9/*/13 and as of today, I have not heard from them. The tablet is a Coby 9.7 8GB android 4.0 Wi-Fi touch tablet & B onus app suite. The item # was [redacted] and the order # was [redacted]. The last time I talked to someone, the representative said he would give me an-upgrade, because I had been waiting so long. My grandson has not been able to enjoy his tablet. He graduated in June 2013 and he wanted to use the tablet for his graduation, but he was not able to. He was very un-happy.Desired Settlement: Refund by daughter-in-law credit card.

I called about 4 weeks later to see how things are going I was told it was still not moving,they said to call back in another 2 weeks. they said they didn't know what was going on with it and to call back. Review: I purchased two tablets in November of 2012 from ABC Warehouse as Christmas gifts and the tablets did not work at all. I called the company and they explained to me to send the tablets in along with fifteen dollars per tablets for shipping cost, proof of purchase, and note explaining problem. I sent a $30 check and a few months after I did not receive the tablets I called and they told me I needed to send a money order because they did not accept checks. I sent the money order and it was returned due to an error on my part. I called several times, emailed, and left messages to get the proper reference number (or what I needed for the return of my merchandise)for months and I have not gotten a response. I have called all the numbers I have found on the internet and it constantly redirects back to the online site or to one of the numbers I have already called.Desired Settlement: I would like to recieve the merchandise I purchasesd as soon asd possible. The company needs the shipping payment from me and I am willing to send it. But I need the contact information and reference info first.

Review: I am an electronics dealer. I called their ###-###-#### number listed in the owner's manual to recieve help on an issue with a product. A recording directed me to a coupon offer to receive a $100.00 voucher for use at any retailer I wished to use. I was passed onto a live agent, who explained that this was a one time offer and that I would receive the coupon in 4 to 5 business days... all I had to do was pay $3.95 for shipping/handling. I explained that I wanted to take care of my product problem first and then would consider their offer. The agent was extremely persistent in getting my debit/credit card info first and that he would then pass me on to technical support after I gave him my information. I refused and insisted he just get me the customer/tech support I needed. He pretended to be forwarding my call. The call then went dead. This morning I called the alternate support number, which was inactive. The 800# was working as it had last night...again offering the coupon to select customers.

This is obviously a fraud and should be terminated immediately. I recommend your investigation into this matter.Desired Settlement: Terminate use of 800# published as customer support for Coby electronics.

Review: I purchased a Colby tablet witch stopped working. I was told by Colby to send a $15.00 money order for return shipping and the tablet back to Colby Returns/Tablet, [redacted] for it to be repaired or they would send me a new one if it could not be repaired. It was under warranty for 1 year from the date of sale. This was on 5-**-13. I have not been able to reach any one in GA or NY regarding this issue. They never sent my tablet back or my $15.00 money order for shipping back to me. The tablet cost was $100.00Desired Settlement: A refund of $115.00 please.

Review: Purchased a Kyros 7 inch 4GBCAP tablet, 11[redacted]/12. Under their warrenty if problems arises with the product they will fix or replace the item with one equal to or greater than the purchased item. This process was confirmed back in July with customer service of company. As directed the item was shipped to designated location of [redacted]. Item was sent priority mail, insured and certified. Received a confirmation of receipt at destination.

Their policy included the requirement of including a $15.00 money order so a product could returned. Money order was included. Items was to be returned within 6 weeks. At the end of that timeframe I began calling their web address, their telephone numbers at customer service and their Corporate office with no success. Their web page refers you to a customer service number and the customer service referred you to the web. I even called the published Corporate number and left a message. This began in July and to date can not make contact with anyone. I have not been contacted by company or received a replacement item or refund.Desired Settlement: I paid $101.75 for item, included a check in the amount if $15.00 for item to be returned and paid $16.40 for shipping and insuring the item. Total of $133.15.

Review: I sent my tablet back to Colby Electronics be repaired on April **, 2013. Around June, I called wanting to know the status of the repair and was told by the associate that they were in the process of moving the company, and that many of the repairs had been delayed for a few weeks. Upon giving the associate my information, he informed me my order should be fixed and delivered within 11 weeks of the call. The date approached and I still had not received my tablet yet. I called again and this time I was referred to the website for customer service, where I emailed the company and got no reply. It has been months and I still haven't received any feedback.Desired Settlement: I would like a new tablet or the repaired tablet back, the $15 return fee, as well as the $7.69 shipping fee.

Review: I received a Coby Tablet for Christmas. I didn't use it right away. However when I finally start using the tablet the charging port fell apart. I contacted Coby around the end of June about my issue. I was advised to mail a $15.00 money order along with my tablet including proof of purchase for repairs. I sent all the tablet along with the requested information right before the [redacted] of July holiday. I contacted Coby twice afterwards and they kept advising me to wait another week the tablet had not been processed although the post office showed the item as being delivered. I waited another week and contacted them as advised and haven't been able to reach a person yet. I have also sent emails that have not been answered. None of the phone numbers are offering an explanation. And now they have merchandise of mine that I may never see again. I found several complaints online of other consumers having the same problem. I am not sure if they are out of business. This is not the first Coby product that I have had problems with. Now I know to never buy a product from them again.(Desired Settlement: I want my merchandise returned so I may have it repaired elsewhere. I want the purchase price including sales tax of the tablet refunded to me.(

Review: I BOUGHT A COBY MP977 4G 7" 1080P HD MP3 PLAYER ASIN#[redacted] FROM "HURRY BARGAINS" THRU AMAZON. IT BROKE AFTER 3 MONTHS. I CONTACTED "Hurry Bargains"....they directed me to Coby.com......I got in contact with them...they told me to send the product to them since it was still under the 1 yr warranty. I did send it to COBY WARRANTY RETURNS: [redacted].... they told WITH A LETTER to send them $6 money order only. [redacted]. I did that. it's been over 4 months and no answer from. nothing in the mail. nothing. I tried calling but they tell yo0u to e mail them.
