Review: I was requested by [redacted] to send a $12 money order for a remote control and ac-adapter, for my Coby Portable Dvd Player model # TF-DVD7009, and also put a note with it stating what I needed. On April **, 2013 I mailed it. I began to contact Coby about my products, on May [redacted] 2013 I received the remote, up to this date I have not received the ac-adapter. Every number that I call now is out of services: [redacted] is the # I spoke to [redacted] on. Here are the other #[redacted] which is the head quarters which directs you to the other # that are not in services. [redacted] or [redacted]. At some point, I located this # [redacted] I spoke to [redacted] a few times, [redacted] and today [redacted] I found out this was just a call center. Their job is to email their supervisor and then he will email Coby unbelievable, well Coby has not yet to respond. I was told that Coby is moving or has moved to California and their is no more direct number to the company. Would you please help me get my product that I paid for, I know its only $6, but its my money I just want the ac-adapter, I can not use my DVD Player without it, thank you very much for your time and patience. Review: I purchased a Colby tablet in December 2012 as a gift, in early 2013 the tablet would not power on, so I called Colby and was told to send it in for repair. I sent it in. I have made several phone calls to them inquiring about the status. Well finally sometime in June I was told that it was being shipped out and to call back in a week, when I did that the representative told me that the company was in the process of changing warehouses and that he could not access his systems to give me the routing number. Since then I have made several attempts to contact the company, when I call the number it is just a recording referring me to the website with no option to speak with anyone. I have also attempted to call the headquarters and again it is just a recording. When I go to the website and attempt to send an email, the email never sends it just says "sending" and it will do this for hours.Desired Settlement: I want my tablet back and I feel I should be compensated for the hassle and inconvenience and not being able to use my brand new tablet for 5 months.

Review: I purchased a Coby Kyros Andriod Tablet about two or less years ago and it hasnt worked since. The tablet is completely worthless and cost almost $200.00. I can not download any apps, use the internet, and much more. Basically the only thing I can do is take pictures. I have tried to contact them through email and they wont respond at all. Their website has been down since I got the tablet and there isnt a customer support phone number. I just want it either to get fixed, or my money back. I dont have any extra money at all and intially bought it for school work and such. Please help as I dont have money to purchase another one.Desired Settlement: I would either like a refund or a new product.

Review: 3/*/2013 - Purchased Coby Electronics 40" TFT LCD Widescreen TV. 6/*/2013 - TV screen went black. 6/**/2013 - Called Customer Support, spoke with man named [redacted]. He took all information on TV, Model #, Serial #, my address, my phone #, information on receipt. I was given a Caller ID# for future reference. I was told I would receive information for returning the TV & a box to ensure protection during shipment. Expect in about 2 Weeks. 8/*/2013 - I have received nothing from Coby. Phone answers with recording sending to website, support on website is blank pages. I cannot reach Coby.Desired Settlement: I want Coby to do as their Warranty states. TV's (screen sizes of 40" and larger), Labor - 1 year, Parts - 1 year, Shipping - In-home service. I will accept a new TV.

Review: I had sent a tablet off to them to be fixed and they stopped answering phone calls and emails when I was trying to find out when I would receive it back. the place has closed and I did not receive the device back.Desired Settlement: I would like to get a device to in return.

Review: I sent my Coby Electronics, Kyros Tablet to the [redacted] address in [redacted] in june 2013 to be repaired under my warranty, along with a copy of my purchase receipt, a $15 US money order as requested so the item can be returned back to me,

the details of my repair and my Tablet, I had it for only a month and the piece that connects to the adaptor to charge it, broke off. I got all the details from the customer service rep and sent it off paying $19 canadian.

II've waited 5 months for my product to be repaired and returned and nothing yet so I tried calling them for weeks and kept getting a fast busy signal, then no responses to my email inquiries. then I googled the company to find out that

many others were having the same issues and heard the company has gone under.

I tracked my parcel with canada post and it was sent and and notice card left on june **/13 and picked up by someone that same afternoon. If there was no business or employees, who picked it up?? why would they not let it just

come back to me, the consumer.

I can kind of understand if they've went bankrupt but why not send our product back to us, fixed or not fixed! even the money order since it was never shipped back to me.

I hope that someone out there can locate our products and return them to us. Its not fair that I paid over $100 for this item and only used it for a month and then never see it again. They shouldn't be able to steal our products.

I'm hoping I can get some sort of response. Is there a chance our product could be returned by the new company that took them over? Thank you for taking my complaint and hope we can get this resolved.Desired Settlement: I just want my Tablet back that I paid with my hard earned money, even a replacement of the same thing.

Review: I have been trying to contact Coby Electronics for several months after I bought my daughters tablets one for Christmas and another for a birthday. The phone numbers provide on the products to contact costumer service do not work . I have a manufactures warranty. I also looked on there website and though numbers do not work. I sent emails and I have not received any responses. I called the stores I bought them from and they can not reach anyone either. I tried to drop a line per the request on there page and it keeps saying try again later I have been trying for 2 months now.Desired Settlement: Both Cobys will not turn on even when all the way charged one flashes the word Android and goes right off. All I want is a our warranty honored by replacing the product or offering a refund

No, no one has contacted me and I still have not been able to reach anyone by phone or email.

Review: We bought a Coby mid 7033-4 tablet on November [redacted] 2012 for a Christmas gift. it was wonderful for the first few months and then the charger area on the tablet became pushed in. I call Coby they had me send in the tablet with a 15 dollar money order. I also put tracking on the package when I mailed it back. Delivery was made on June [redacted] 2013 at 12:29 p.m. to [redacted]. I have tried to contact Coby several times, each time with no response. It is very frustrating to have a number on the website that does not work and no other way of contact when they have the product. my daughter has been without her tablet for almost 3 months, the person at Coby said it would be no longer than 6 weeks.Desired Settlement: I would like a response! I would also like a replacement, I don't think that's too much to ask for being that it fell under the manufacturer's warranty in the first place.

Review: On 4/**/13, I sent my daughter's tablet that was purchased for her as a gift to the Coby warehouse for repair. It was sent to [redacted]. The tablet was sent directly through the US Post Office in [redacted] which is where I reside. It was delivered on 4/**/13 at 9:50 am according to the USPS website tracking info. Tracking number through USPS is available upon request. At the time I also purchased the required $15 money order to be shipped with tablet to cover the cost of the repair. The money order number is available upon request (USPS). I called on 5/*/13 to see if there was an update on my repair, I was told that although it was delivered to the warehouse, it was not received at the repair plant as of that date and it takes anywhere from 4-6 weeks to be received and logged in. I called a few weeks later and was told the exact same statement. I called again around 6/*/13 and was told the tablet was finally received at the repair plant on 6/*/13. The company was going to send me a new tablet ( an upgraded model) because the model that I had was no longer being manufactured. I called every Tuesday and Thursday during the month of June as I was told all updates are done on those days. At this point, I am getting no information, (one rep actually told me that my tablet was sitting somewhere in the warehouse). I called again around the first week of July and was told that it was going to be shipped on 7/*/13. Still no tablet. I called again on 7/*/13 to see if there was a delay since the holiday was the previous week, no delay, not shipped yet, (the rep told me that the last rep just gave me an estimated shipping date to get me off the phone, but the tablet was never actually shipped. Still no tablet. At this point, I am really disgusted with this company and the run around that they are giving me. I tried calling again on 7/**/13, this time the phone system said please refer all inquiries through the website [redacted], so I write an email to the company explaining my problem, no response. I send a second email about two weeks later, still no response. I send a third email and I also wrote a letter to the company headquarters, addressed it to the president or ceo and still no response. I sent a fourth email and two more letters, all with no response. I tried calling all of the numbers listed on the website as I have no other way to contact the company, the phone just rang with no answer or no voicemail. I have made several attempts to contact this company, but not getting anywhere but more frustrated. Can someone please assist me with this matter?Desired Settlement: At this point, it has been almost 6 months since this originated. I would like to receive the new tablet that I was guaranteed or please send back the old one along with my $27.40 ( that was the cost of the money order and the shipping charge to send it). I have already wasted a lot of time and energy on this company. Because the tablet that was sent in was a gift to my daughter, I do not have the original purchase receipt. Please help

Review: Tv was not repaired or replaced under the warranty. I purchased a Coby 19 inch tv from Best Buy online. It developed a blue vertical line from top to bottom on the screen on August **, 2013. I payed $97.75 on my credit card on Oct**,2013. It came with a 1 year warranty on parts . I took it back to the [redacted] Best Buy . The tech send it back under the warranty to be repaired or replaced. I brought it in on August **, 2013 and got it back on August **,2013. The repair comments were unit is out of warranty and no replacement parts are available for repair on this model. No estimate can be given. I asked him for a replacement and he said I have to deal with Coby.Desired Settlement: Refund my credit card for the purchase amount.

Review: I jose rodriguez purchase 2 tablets from fries store on 12/**/12 about 2 month later one of the tablets speakers stop working at this time a contact the coby co. and they told me that the tablet was no longer on the warranty but if I pay for shipping and handling they will fix or replace the tablet. on 04/**/13 I then send the tablet to coby I olso send them a $15.00 dollars money order that they ask. for them to ship the tablet back to me . at this point I did everything they ask for. after 2 weeks I call the coby people to check the status of the tablet and they told me that they will send me a replacement tablet because the tablet cant not be fix . after 2 weeks I then call coby to check the status of the process. after this I have call coby several times. now they dont answer any phone calls or emails is been 5 month and I have not receive anything from them. Review: About two week ago I contact the company regarding the instructions on returns. I received an email a followed the instructions. My package was refused from Coby Consumer Returns located in CA. I have called the company and emailed the individual that sent me the email without any responses. Then I starting researching the company. I called [redacted] at Coby Electronic located in NY he will not return my call or the company's secretary. It is like the company has drop off the face of the earth. The Coby tablet I purchase is broken and it is still under factor warrant. I want it replace. I can fight this battle with the company but, I cant seem to get any one on the phone. This tablet cost 74.00 dollars this company sucks.Desired Settlement: Exchange

Review: I have a Coby LED4026 that has stopped working due to a lightning strike. I took the television to a repair shop and they determined that I needed a new mainboard. I contacted Coby to get a part number so I could purchase the part. I first tried by phone at ###-###-#### and there is an automated message that says, "For service or support, please visit CobyUSA.com." and hangs up. I have also called that number and gotten only a busy signal. I also called their New York headquarters which went to a voicemail box that was full. I even tried calling their Canadian support number and got the same response--nothing. I sent an email to "[redacted]" on 7/**/2013:

I have been trying to call for the last three days to consumer care and either get a busy signal or a message that says, “For service or support, please visit Cobyusa.com” and the call disconnects. I have called four different numbers and haven’t been able to get in touch with someone on any of them. Please have someone make sure that your call system is working properly.

In any case, I am trying to find out if I can purchase a television part. I need the main board for the Coby LEDTV4026 since my television was struck by lightning and the part was damaged. Please let me know how I can purchase this part from Coby, or at least get a part number to purchase it somewhere else. Neither myself nor my television repairman have been able to find the part online. Please assist.

I have also been calling their "Customer Service" number throughout this time but it has been nearly two months and I have gotten no response. I am extremely disappointed in this lack of any type of service, and I have seen through online forums that many people get the same treatment. I only wanted a part number so that I could repair my television. Right now I am short a television because of Coby's failure to provide any customer support.Desired Settlement: I want to be contacted by Coby with the part number and where I can purchase it. It would be nice if they could offer a discount for the massive inconvenience they have caused me since I have been trying to contact them for nearly two months and they have completely failed in responding to any of my calls or emails.

Review: About 2 months ago, we had a power flicker in our house. After the power flickered, our television would not work. The television was plugged into a surge protector and everything else that was plugged into the surge protector still works. The next day, I tried calling the company's technical support number to ask if there was anything I could do to fix the problem myself. I ended up being on hold for about an hour. After I hung up, I emailed technical support to ask if there was anything I could do. I have still yet to receive a response to this email. I have tried to contact the company both by email and by phone since then with no luck and no response and many hours on hold. The last few times I called, there was only a message to email the company's tech support email. I have tried this also and once again, no response. The television is still under warranty until late November as we purchased it on Black Friday from Electronics Express. All I really want is either the television to be fixed or replaced.Desired Settlement: I would really just like a replacement or to have it fixed if it can be fixed without having to pay out of pocket to send the television to the company

Review: I PURCHASED A 32" TV FROM KMART IN OCTOBER OF 2012. IT STOPPED WORKING IN APRIL OF 2013 AND I CONTACTED COBY ELECTRONICS. THEY TOLD ME TO SEND THEM A $30 MONEY ORDER, THE TV AND MY NAME, ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER AND THEY WOULD IN TURN REPAIR THE TV AND SEND IT BACK. I RETURNED THE TV AROUND JUNE [redacted] AND I STILL DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT MY TV. Review: In June of 2013 I shipped my tablet to Coby Consumer Repairs in [redacted] for warranty repairs. I have sent numerous emails requesting status for repairs with no response. The repairs were to take 6 - 8 weeks. I have called many times and have been sent to voice mail with no responses from my messages.
