Review: I have been trying to call Coby for the past week in a half to check the status of my tablet replacement. I have not been able to get through on the phone and was referred to the website. I was told on Thursday, July **, 2013 by COBY customer service rep. that the replacement was ready for shipment, but to call back in 3 days to get a tracking number. I did that on July **, 2013 and received a busy tone.

I need someone to assist me with this matter as soon as possible because it has been three months since I sent in my product and waiting for communication. Every number I have called I get a busy signal. I had to send a $15 money order for my item to be shipped back to me and I have not heard anything from any one. I have sent emails as well and have not had any form of communication back from Coby.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my tablet replaced as I was told or I would like a full refund of my item along with the extra money I spent for shipping and the extended warranty ASAP.

Review: My wife purchased a under the cabinet mounted TV for me during the Christmas 2012 season. After approximately a month of use the unit just quit working. We purchased it from ABC warehouse and they told us to send it back to the manufacturer. We called Coby and we were told we had to send a $10 money order along with our unit. After our unit arrived for repair they told us it would be up to 2 weeks before we got it back. Approximately a month later I called about the status of our TV and they said that it wasn't in their system. After talking to several different people on the phone I was told that they had the unit but it hadn't been looked at it yet and that it would be put on priority and fixed right away. About another month went by so I called back again asking what is going on. They now told me that the TV wasn't repairable and would have to be replaced but there was a back order on those units and it would be until July when they received more. Fast forward to July I am now calling again to check on the status of my TV and they told me that they aren't gonna make that TV anymore and that they would give me a 10" regular TV, a tablet and a DVD player in place of my original unit since they weren't making it anymore. I was told that it would be approximately 2 weeks before I received them. I called back 1 week later and spoke with one customer service rep. that exchanged emails with me so he could send me a tracking number as soon as one became available for my items. Since then I haven't received any items or a tracking number or my original unit or the money my wife paid for the unit! I have tried calling multiple different numbers and emailing customer support and technical support and I have not received any answer. I have also tried to contact this customer service email that I was given and no response. I feel like this company has stolen from me. It has been 8 months since I was last able to enjoy this Christmas gift from my wife.Desired Settlement: Ultimately I want an under mount cabinet TV but I don't want one from this company. So I would like to have my money refunded to me so I can go purchase a under mount cabinet TV from a different company.

Review: I have (had) a Coby Kyros MID7022 tablet ([redacted]). The "back" button stopped working, so I called Coby (###-###-####) for support in late May 2013. They told me to mail the unit to them along with a $15 money order to cover sending the repaired / replaced unit back to me. I did this on June * and they received it on June 3 (my USPS tracking number is [redacted]). They said wait 4-6 weeks and they'd send it back (repaired or replaced). I had not received the unit by July **, so I called and spoke to [redacted]. He explained it was supposed to ship on July *, but nothing had been shipped. I should call back the following week. I called July ** and spoke to [redacted] (the only [redacted] there). He gave me the same information regarding the July * shipment. He suggested I call Coby directly on ###-###-####. I did this, pressed 0 for operator, no one answered, the call was forwarded to voice mail, where an automated voice told me the mail box was full and I could not leave a message. I went to Coby's support site ([redacted] and used their email form to explain what had happened and ask about my tablet. I have heard nothing back by 7/**, so I called their support number again. No one answers. You are instructed to visit the Coby web site for support. The Coby web site says to call the support number or send an email. I found an 800 number for Coby on the Revdex.com site. I tried to call it, but just get a busy signal. So they have my tablet and my $15 money order and I have nothing.Desired Settlement: I would like Coby to repair and return my tablet. Or send me a replacement similar to or better than my tablet.

If that's not possible, I would like Coby to refund the original purchase price ($90) plus my cost for mailing the tablet ($15) plus the cost of the money order ($17) for a total of $122.

Review: In December 2012 I purchased a Coby Kyros 7-inch Android 4.04 GB Internet Tablet from [redacted]. The tablet became defective due to a faded screen in May of 2013. I contacted Coby customer support and the Customer Technical Support Supervisor, [redacted], email [redacted], emailed me back, telling me the unit was defective and that if the original seller would not take it back, that I should send it to COBY Electronics, [redacted] along with the purchase receipt, details of what was wrong, my contact information and a $15 money order. Since the purchase was made over 30 days before, [redacted] would not take the tablet back. I sent the tablet to Coby along with the required paperwork and money order via USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. They received it on May **, 2013. Since then, I have been waiting for the replacement tablet. I have called their "support" at least five times and each time was given an excuse as to why I have not received the tablet. The first time the delay was because they were moving their inventory to CA. Yesterday when I called, I was told the warehouse was doing inventory and I needed to call back on August *, 2013. I called their corporate headquarters last week, only to get caught in a phone tree. If you don't know someone's name there, you are out of luck. I did find a list of corporate names, went through the phone tree again and left two messages, but got no return calls. A recorded operator says you can leave a message, but when you choose that option, the recording says it cannot take any more messages. The support number is an outsourced group, they are not Coby employees. COBY Electronics has had the tablet over two months now and I still do not have a replacement.Desired Settlement: I am no longer interested in getting a table or any other device from COBY Electronics. I paid $83.99 for the tablet and with the $15.00 Coby wanted for mailing a tablet replacement to me, it comes to a total of $98.99.

Review: They received my tablet on May [redacted]. It is now July **. I have made three phone calls to them and they tell me they have no idea how long it will be before it is repaired and returned. One person said I would have it before July **. The last one said there is no date available. Now I can't even get in touch with anybody by phone or email. The line is either busy or they say to contact them on the Internet. That way, on the Internet, there is no way to contact them via customer service, phone number on the website or via email. It has been 11 weeks and no product. The tablet was only 4 months old when I sent it in for repair. They have poor customer service, poor contact information and no way to even contact them now. I am so frustrated with them. I just want my tablet fixed and returned now.Desired Settlement: Repair and Return of item immediately or a complete refund.

Review: I bought a coby mp3 player from Shopko and I have the reciept but found out shortly after less then a month later it would not charge or hold charge of the battery. so I was told to send back with the warranty fee for repair. I sent it via tracking and they received it on April 29th 2013. I have tried to contact several times with noanswer the numbers don't work and they have not answered my emails. it has been four months and still have not received it back yet.Desired Settlement: I want either my fixed mp3 player or I want a new one , or a coupon or card to get a new one.(same one) or one of equal value$100.00 if no longer are made.

Review: On January **,2013 Coby sent me a email stating that I must send them a money order for $15.00 u.s. and my tablet that is under warranty for repair. Tablet was purchased three months prior and connection cord not working. They received tablet and money [redacted] week of February. I waited 6 weeks tablet was not returned. I called [redacted],gave tracking#.They said they got and will send it to repair department. I Waiting another 6 weeks. I called they said it was mailed out and should wait one week to get it. The tablet never arrived. I called they said it was a mistake,they are still working on the tablet. After 4 months I was told that they are not repairing it they are sending me a new one.July I keep callling and [redacted] just keeps ringing. Operator said it's not a normal ring. August # is still just ringing. I sent 4 emails no response. September sent emails no response. Phone # is still ringing. I contacted their [redacted] office no response. I went on their website and sent email no response. Can you reach Coby and get back my tablet and $15.00 us. It would be much appricated and relieve all the frustration. Review: I bought a Coby LEDTV2326 from Canadian Tire in Perth, Ontario, Canada in June 2012. Just over 6 months later (after repeated problems) Canadian Tire gave me Coby's telephone number for warranty returns. I phoned ([redacted]) and was told to return the unit to their Savannah, Georgia offices. I did that on April **, 2013. Since that time I have phoned repeatedly and received no satisfactory response. The last communication was that the unit was being replaced but they were out of stock. They refused to refund the purchase price. Since my last communication all their 800 and 877 phone numbers are no longer working except the 877 number does say to go to their web site. The Canadian phone returns a busy signal every time. I assume that Coby must be out of business which means I have lost my $170+ investment. Is there anything that can be done?

Review: I purchased this TV in March and after not even 6 months it will not turn on. I tried to take it back to where I purchased it (Kmart) and they told me that I had to call Coby. Coby does not have any working phone numbers, I have been trying for days to get ahold of them and all of the numbers ring busy, disconnected, or it is a computer generated message telling you to visit their website. Then you visit the website and it directs you to call that same number. I have also emailed them with no response. I am a very dissatisfied customer!Desired Settlement: I honestly would like a refund, as I do not want to get the same product and have this happen again, however at the very least I would accept a replacement of the product.

Review: I mailed out my Coby Kyros tablet on the [redacted] of June 2013 to the Coby Electronic returns in [redacted]. I received confirmation by phone that they had received the tablet on the [redacted] of July and a replacement one would be shipped out by the [redacted] of August. The [redacted] of August has already pasted, and I have not received it yet. I have been trying to contact them by their phone number ###-###-####, and e-mail address. It does no use to call them because it directs me to e-mail them. I sent an e-mail on the [redacted] of August. I received an Automatic Mail submission from Cobyusa.com two hours later from a [redacted] stating (This email address is no longer valid as of 7/**/2013). So I don't know what to do to find out any information on what the status is on the Tablet. I would be very great full if you would help me resolve this issue.Desired Settlement: I just want my replacement Coby Kyros tablet sent to me.

Review: I sent a Coby 15" TV ((LEDTV1526) for repair under warranty. Per request of Coby company, I sent them a $20.00 money order for return of TV. TV was sent on May *, 2013. I know they received the TV. I have two phone numbers but unable to reach due to line is constantly busy and the other states to send them a message on the customer report site which I have done about 8 times. I get no response. I want my TV and my $20.00. I have waited over 3 months now.

Review: I returned a tablet for repair at the end of March along with a $15.00 money order to have it returned to me upon completion of repairs. I have not recieved my tablet back yet. I have tried to contact them several times by phone and email. I was told numerous times that my tablet was in the warehouse ready to be shipped and that would notify me of a ship date. this was never done. I was also told they were moving warehouses and updating inventory and that is what has delayed shipment but that was 2 months ago. Review: I purchased a Coby LCD television in December of 2012 from Best Buy Douglasville, GA. The television malfunctioned in January 2013. It was past the warranty for Best Buy so they gave me the number for Coby. After contacting Coby it was recommended to contact a Coby servicing center to mail the tv for repair. I found the location to be Coby Electronic Corp 150 Knowlton Way Savannah, GA. I mailed the tv on 4/**/13 and it arrived in Savannah on 4/**/13. I contacted Coby to ensure they received item and was told by [redacted] (a supervisor in the Coby Warranty Center) on 5/**/13 it would be 6-8 wks before I receive my item back. I was given an estimated date of 1st week in July when the item would arrive at my home. On the week of 7/**/13 when I had not received my item I contacted [redacted] again and was informed that the tv is on backorder until October 2013. I told [redacted] I didn't ask for the tv to be replaced but repaired and if I can speak with someone else about getting my tv back before October. He said he would email the warehouse in which the tv was mailed and ask if there's another tv similar to the one I mailed that they could send me. He said call back in 3-5 business days to find out about what the warehouse would decide on another tv. He also expressed that I could call Coby Corporate office and gave me a number to discuss my issue with them. When I attempted to contact Coby the following week of 7/**/13 I got a busy signal, no voice mail, no live person. I called multiple times at various times of day with no success. I called Coby Corporate Office with no success. I have called 4 different telephone numbers, emailed Coby and haven't been able to speak with anyone. I contacted Best Buy and spoke with the store where I purchased item and spoke with Best Buy Corporate Public Defender Division on 8/*/13. [redacted] attempted to call the Coby Warranty Repair number and was not able to get through. He recommended contact Revdex.com to help me resolve this situation.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a check in the amount that I paid for the tv so that I can get another tv before October 2013. Due to the fact that all contacts has been lost and I cannot get through to anyone at any of the 4 numbers I would rather get a check and never have to worry about waiting for a tv that I'm not even sure that's coming or not from Coby.

Review: My daughter saved her money for 6 months to buy a tablet. I purchased a Coby 7" tablet on April **, 2013. On August **, this product would no longer turn on. The warranty from the store purchased was up in July after 3 months. In order to have warranty work done I tried calling ###-###-#### which is the number listed on the website and product warranty information received with the Coby tablet, and received a recording and was disconnected. I have tried emailing the customer service email on the website numerous times and have received no contact.Desired Settlement: We would like a replacement tablet.

Review: Purchased a Coby MID8042 tablet on 11/**/2013. Tablet stopped charging contacted company and was told to send tablet along with a money order for $15 for repair/shipping. Called the company in June and was told that it was in the warehouse waiting to be shipped. I waited 10 days and then called back and was told it was still in the warehouse waiting for shipment. Review: We purchased a Coby 38.5" LED TV for our daughter at college in [redacted]. The TV stopped working. Both the customer care and technical assistance emails were returned as "bad" addresses and the (855) number simply directs one to the website, which directs you to the (855) number.Desired Settlement: The TV isn't even one year old and we would like it repaired or replaced.

Review: I purchased a Coby tablet on [redacted] in December of 2012. In May of 2013, a part of the tablet broke inside the unit making it unable to charge and therefore unusable. I called Coby Corp. in May 2013, directly using the customer service number on the website ###-###-####, since it was a manufacturing defect on the device. I was informed that the item was under a one year warranty and given instructions by email on how to send it in for a replacement. In the email states that the defective item's replacement will take 4-6 weeks to be received back. I mailed the defective unit (per instructions in the email from customer service) on June **, 2013, along with a $15 money order for return shipping (tracking # ending in......[redacted]), to the address stated in the instructions in the email (Coby Consumer Returns, [redacted]). After waiting 4 weeks I called, July **, to get information on the return and spoke to a man named [redacted] and was told that we would be receiving a replacement tablet at the end of July or first week of August. We have still not received a replacement tablet after waiting for two months. When I call the same phone number, from the website, that I spoke with the gentlemen on it gives an automated message now stating that for customer service to visit the website [redacted] and then the call disconnects. There are no options to speak to anyone. When emailing the address for customer service, an email comes back stating that the address is no longer valid as of 7/**/13. When calling the company's headquarters the automated system does not let you speak to a customer service representative but gives another number to call. When calling that number there is a busy signal. There is no way to contact this company about our warranty replacement.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a replacement tablet comparable to the one we sent in for warranty or receive a full refund of what I paid for the item $83.99, plus fees I paid to ship the item for warranty, $8.25, plus the money order I sent with the item for a return replacement, $15.00. For a total of $107.24.
