Review: I sent a computer tablet for repair and a check to pay for the return and never received it back, it was sent on April ** 2013 USPS tracking number[redacted]. I made several attempts to contact the company by few phone numbers that are always busy or nobody answer and by few e mailsDesired Settlement: I would like to receive a replacement tablet and also a extended warranty since my 7 years old daughter have not be able to use the table for 4 months. I also have another tablet purchase on the same day that became defective but due to the issue of not receive the first tablet back we did not trust in send this one that is falling off warranty. I would like to have the second tablet replaced too with extended warranty

Review: I sent my grand son tablet to Coby Electronics on June [redacted], I was told it would be 4-6 weeks before they ship it back. I called back 8 weeks later and was told that they received it but have not been fixed because the repair dept moved to California. I called back and there is no longer an answer to the number I was given or and answer to the corp office. I paid 139.00 for this item and sent them a cashier check for 55.00 for the repairs.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the item that I sent and a refund of 55.00 that I sent them the name of the item is Tablet MID8048 the cost of this item in 139.00 I also sent them a copy of the receipt from where it was purchased

Review: I purchased a Coby tablet model MID1042 Serial#[redacted] on August **, 2012. It worked for about 5 or 6 months then we had issues with charging unit and USB jack. I called the toll free number ###-###-####. I was asked what the issue was and directed to Technical Support. I spoke with a [redacted] whom explained to me that I should package up the tablet and mail it to Coby Returns/Tablets [redacted]. I needed to include a detail of the problem, my full mailing address for return, a money order/cashiers check for $15.00 for return postage, phone number and copy of receipt. Which was all enclosed. They also said it was a good idea to have tracking, insurance and have the package signed for at time of delivery. Here is where the big problem begins. The warranty is only good for 1 year and will be up in a few weeks. As of now, my package could not be delivered because the address is not known and a change if address was given at the postal service. I shipped it out on 7/**/2013 and 7/**/2013 inGeorgia said it was undeliverable. I assumed it would be sent back to me but instead disappeared. I called the number for Coby that I used before but now doesn't answer just directs to there website. Went there no other phone numbers available so I tried contacting through email. No response. Then I tried using the contacts name from above and emailed him. No response. Postal service came back to me that my package is now in Carson City, CA . I said Why? They said that was a forwarding address but would not accept or respond to my package. I have researched ever possible outlet to find a phone number in which I could actually speak to someone but no luck. This tablet cost me $400.00 which I will be out because it is broken and it wouldn't be an use when returned. I would just like to be able to pick up the phone and speak with someone to get a correct address for it to be repaired. As its going my warranty will be up and no repairs will be made. I just don't understand how a business functions without a legitimate telephone number. Don't there customers matter.Desired Settlement: Repair or replace item that is not working. Have someone contact me personally. Have telephone numbers that work and real people behind them taking care of customers needs.

Review: I purchased a tablet for my daughter this Christmas. We have found it only connects to the wireless network if it is in the same room as our wireless router. We did reset our wireless network, and even deleted and recreated the wireless network, but it is no better. None of our other wireless devices have any issues connecting to the network.Desired Settlement: I would simply like the product to actually work as it should.

Review: I contacted Coby in May 2013 regarding a faulty charger port for the two Kyros tablets I purchased. I was emailed instructions on how and where to return my devices for replacement. I sent my tablets, return shipping, my issues, and insured my products to the address given. The address was Coby Returns/Tablet, [redacted]. I tracked the package and it was received in Carson, CA on June **, 2013. I have tried on numerous occasions to contact Coby regarding the return of my tablets to no avail. The warranty contact number ###-###-#### tells you to contact them at [redacted]. I have sent several emails as well as called the main headquarters in NY. I want my money for the tablets plus the return shipping costs and insurance for my tabletsDesired Settlement: I hope to receive my money plus associated costs returned to me. This companies reputation is no longer credible in my eyes.

Review: I bought a 32" TV a couple months ago, and all of sudden a week ago it didn't turn on. I called K-mart where I purchase the product and they told me to contact the manufacture which is Coby, since then I been trying to contact them but its not possible, there is no body to answer the phone or the phone that the machine gives you is not in service.Desired Settlement: They have to replace the product or return the money.

Review: I bought a Coby Kryos 7" tablet in June of 2012. After having use it for only 4 months, the battery did not charge and the port for the battery was very lose and evenually just fell completely back inside the tablet. I returned and was sent a refurbished tablet in Dec of 2012 that ended up with the same problem. I returned it in may of 2013 with a letter asking for a new one or a full refund of $210.94. I called a month later and was told that they were back up and to call back in two weeks. each time I called I was told the same thing, to call back in two weeks. It is now August and I haven'nt heard from them nor have I recieved another tablet or refund. I call the number I usually call ###-###-#### and got a recording saying that the number had been disconnected. Just to be clear, the company that sold the item sells items of different companies and is not directly responsible for the product sold. if you would like to call the Gold Post for clearification, the # is ###-###-####. My dispute is not with them but with Coby Electronics. I do not want another piece of merchandise from this company. Review: I purchased a TV in November 2012. It has completely quit working. I contacted Coby about this issue, they told me to take to a repair place and have them find out what was wrong and email the needed part and Coby would sent it to be fixed. I took it to repair place paid $75 to have them look at it, they emailed Coby. After almost a month of waiting to hear from them I called back. then I was told they have moved there warehouse and nobody is answering those emails and that I would need to mail the TV to them and they would mail me a new TV. so I went back and got the TV and packaged it to return. Took it to the post office and they wanted $95.00 to mail the TV plus Coby wanted $30.00 to mail me the new TV back to me. TV only cost $203.00. I have been calling Coby for weeks and left messages and now one answers or returns calls. Now the 800 number I had just tells you to go to the web site, nobody ever answers it.

Review: I returned a Coby Kyros table that was still under warranty to Coby Electronics on May [redacted] for repair. The website said it takes 4-6 weeks. I then called to check on it in June and was told the warehouse was running behind it may be 8 weeks. I then called July [redacted] and was told it was waiting on dock to be shipped out to me. Then I called July [redacted] and was told the number was to a third party company and they had not gotten another update. Was also told Coby had laid off half of their staff and to try their number. I have since sent 2 emails and gotten no response and no one answers at Coby, it goes to a full voice mail. Today July [redacted] they are no longer taking calls at the original customer service number listed on the website. I also sent in a $15 money order to pay for return shipping. I would really like a resolution to this issue.Desired Settlement: I would like my repaired table returned or a new replacement or a refund of the purchase price.

Review: On March [redacted] 2013 I purchased a Coby DP 1052 digital picture frame from [redacted] as a gift. The item was shipped directly to the recipient who reported to me that it would not turn on straight out of the box. I proceeded to register the product on Coby's website so that the recipient could receive assistance from their customer service department. On May [redacted] 2013 service tech "[redacted]" instructed the recipient to return the item to [redacted]. which they did, I can provide the UPS tracking number if needed. A follow up call on June [redacted] 2013 was made with "[redacted]" who confirmed the unit was received but explained they were moving warehouses and to check back after the first of July. Several phone calls have been attempted since then none of which have been answered. The phone number listed on the Coby website goes to an automated message stating to go to their website for customer support. Emails sent on August [redacted] 2013 and august [redacted] 2013 have been met with no reply of any kind.Desired Settlement: I am attempting to acquire a replacement DP1052 picture frame or failing that a full refund of the sale price of the product.

Review: March [redacted] 2013 I returned a defective dvd player to COBY USA warehouse in [redacted] with a $10.00 money order for delivery fee. May [redacted] 2013 I called to follow up and received an option to receive a 10 " TV, Portable dvd player and internet tablet since my unit KTFDVD1093 model is no longer available. On May [redacted], 2013 I got an e-mail by [redacted] @ warrant tech in writing offering the 3 products in replacement of defective COBY USA dvd player. I replied and accepted. I didn't hear back for two weeks. I followed up in writing again Jun [redacted] and I was told that their warehouse was closing down to move to CA and be patiend. I called again July [redacted] and didn't get any chance to speak to a live operator as they don't give you the option with their customer service # ###-###-####. I followed up again via e-mail to [redacted] on August [redacted], 2013 and have not received any replies. I would like my money back for the unit, plus money order or at least what was promised to me...10 inch tv, portable player, and internet tablet. I just read the company just laid off 35% of ther work force including their [redacted]. Lake Success, N.Y. Coby Electronics last Friday June reduced its staff by another 17 people, including [redacted] and all sales, marketing and product-management staff except for four salespeople, sources close to Coby told TWICDesired Settlement: I would like the replacements offered (10 inch TV, DVD player, and internet tablet) plus the $10.00 money order I mailed to former warehouse in [redacted]. Someone please please help. I'm not alone with Coby issue. I see multiple consumers posting blogs in the same situation.

Review: I HAD PURCHASED A COBY TABLET, MODEL MID9740-8. AFTER 4 MONTHS OF USE IT WAS HAVING PROBLEMS, SO THEY ASKED ME TO SEND IT TO THEIR LOCATION IN SAVANAH, GA FOR REPAIRS. THEIR INSTRUCTIONS ADVISES NOT CALL FOR STATUS B4 4-6 WEEKS. I WAITED AND THEN STARTED CALLING, THEY KEPT TELLING ME THAT IT WAS NOT READY, TO CALL AGAIN IN ANOTHER WEEK. WHICH I DID, THEN THEY KEPT TELLING ME THAT IT WAS IN THE WAREHOUSE PENDING. THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN, THEY DISCONNECTE THE PHONE # I QUESTION ###-###-####-

I sent in a tablet to Coby Company in Savanna ** to be repaired in April, which they recieved on the third of the same month. Their policy was to have it returned in six to eight weeks.After waiting at least the eight weeks, I called only to recieve all kinds of excuses from, hurricane Sandy put them behind, to they are in the process of moving to California. Fine and dandy but where is my tablet? It is now been three months and more excuses have followed. I have repeatedly called and they give me one excuse after another. After asking to file a claim for the product, I was given a number in New York, where I can never get through. I am now at a lost and have almost run out of options. Can you please help me or give me options as to what to do. The product is a Coby Tablet, model 1024 sent to ** in April. The phone numbers I have are as follows.

Review: In October 2012 I purchased a 40" 3D Coby television that, when installed, proved to be defective. Coby sold the TV with a promise of a 1 year warranty. I contacted them in the early part of 2013 and was told that they would send me a replacement and that I would also receive shipping labels to return the defective item. I waited a few weeks per the time frame they offered and received shipping labels but no replacement. When I called to get an update, they claimed that the person I spoke to previously was mistaken and that I had to send in my defective TV before they could proceed. I had no problem with that, other than that they had lied previously (further research on the subject found numerous other people who were told the same thing). I sent in the TV and received a call a few weeks later stating that it was unrepairable and that they wanted instead to send me [redacted] non-3D TV and two tablets. This was acceptable to me. I received the new TV and tablets about a week later. I set up the TV to make sure it wasn't defective, and to my surprise found that it too was malfunctioning. I tried again to contact Coby only to find that their customer service center was no longer accepting phone calls and was not responding to emails. I've tried numerous times to contact them and even had [redacted] (the retailer that I purchased the TV through in the first place) reach out to them with no success. At this time, I don't even know if Coby is still in business. I am still within my warranty period, although that will expire in about a month. I have never received a working television for my money.Desired Settlement: I would like to either receive a working product or get a refund if that is not possible. This is in line with what was promised when I bought the first TV.

Review: I purchased 3 Coby tablets from [redacted] for our grandchildren for Christmas. All had to be returned within 30 days of Christmas, however, there was one that was still defective and [redacted]e said the replacement period was over and gave me an address to send it back to Coby Returns, [redacted]. A [redacted] sent me the info and instructions to send it back. I did exactly as instructed and was told it could take up to 6 - 8 weeks to get it make. This was sent on April [redacted] 2013, and I have the postal receipt to prove that. I called Coby around July * and was told it would be shipped back soon. I am still waiting and think this is way too long to fix a problem. I have emailed [redacted] and he has never responded to any of my emails. His address is [redacted]. I would just like to get this back in a fixed condition so my grandchild can enjoy. I feel 16 weeks plus is way too long for this to get fixed. I also think [redacted] could have been a little more helpful in getting this resolved. I had to even send money to get this fixed. Thanks. Review: The television we purchased stopped working 3 months after purchase. We called COBY and spoke with [redacted] and were told to send in the television, receipt and a money order for return postage. We sent all of this in March 2013. We spoke with [redacted] a few times between March and July and he kept telling us that our replacement was going to be processed and sent soon. The last time we spoke with anyone at COBY we were told that our replacement television was being shipped that day, that was the end of July 2013. We have been calling and emailing everyday since mid August 2013 and have had no response from anyone.Desired Settlement: I would like our television replaced with a new one that will last for more than 3 months and a refund of the $25.00 money order we purchased and sent with our defective television, that was supposed to be for return postage of a new television, and 50% of the purchase price ($160) of the television refunded to us too.
