Review: I ordered a radio from Amazon last Christmas, by the time she opened it, it was broken and past the thirty days to send it back to Amazon so she sent it back to Coby directly as they told her to do. I realize that it is only a $40 radio but it is now August and everytime I call it is a 30 minute hold time minimum and they keep telling me to call back. I call back to speak to the supervisor I need to speak to and even he blows me off and tells me to call in a few weeks. Every time I call it's something. I have also tried emailing and got no response. I have never filed a complaint with Revdex.com before but I have never had a company blatantly not either refund my money or replace the product.

Sincerely,

Review: In November 2012, I purchased 2 Coby Kryos Tablets for my family. Both came with a one year manufacturers 100% warrantee. I have made several attempts to call the customer service AND tech support office (at the same # ###-###-####) as directed on both the warrantee information guide received with the product and on the website. Every time I've called, I only receive a recorded message telling me to address issues on their coby.usa website. Once there, I can only email my request for service or information. I've sent over a dozen emails to their customer care and tech support addresses over a 3 week period. I have received NO response from either. I'm concerned that there delayed or lack of response, will give them a reason not to have to follow through the warrantee guarantee as promised within the one year of purchase.Desired Settlement: The tablet will not turn on fully. It will not charge or move past the title screen and stays frozen that way until it's reset to do the same again. I would accept refund, repair, or exchange for this equipment. I'm willing to consider any of the above. Thank you!

Sincerely,

Review: I purchased a coby tablet from a store called choice wireless in [redacted], on march **, 2013. On April *, 2013 the charging port fell into the tablet so that we were unable to charge it. I contacted the store that I purchased it from and they informed me that it was a warranty issue and I needed to contact the coby company. I did this on April *, 2013. The customer service representative that I spoke to said that the tablet was defiantly covered by the company's warranty and all I needed to do was send the tablet in along with a 15$ cashiers check to cover the return shipping. I was told that I could expect a replacement tablet or for my tablet to be fixed in 6-8 weeks. I sent the money order for 15$ on that same day. I waited for over a month before calling to check on the status of my tablet. I was told that they did not have it in their systems yet and to wait a couple more weeks. I waited two more weeks , called back and was told the same thing. The next week I called and was informed that they had it in their system and that they were not only going to replace the tablet but were going to replace it with an upgraded version of the tablet. Unfortunately they were out of that particular model in their warehouse so it would take a couple more weeks. I called again in the beginning of july and was informed that they had the tablet marked to be shipped. I waited a week and when I still did not receive the tablet I called and they told me that for an unknown reason the tablet was not shipped even though it was scheduled to be shipped. I called back a week later and they said they had not received an update, so I waited two more days and when I tried to call any of their customer service number I was greeted by and automated message saying that for support or customer service I needed to email them. I sent my first email on July **, 2013, and my second email explaining my situation on august * 2013 and still have not had any contact with them.Desired Settlement: I would simply like the 100 $ I paid for the tablet back, along with the 15 $ I sent for shipping

Review: I've sent my tablet to coby corp. to get fixed in April 2013 it is now August 2013 I haven't received it back yet this is very unfair to me because I have work I need to get complete with my tablet and I can not get it done without it and also had to send a $15.00 money order for shipping and handling my tablet cost $100.00Desired Settlement: I would like my tablet or money for my tablet plus my shipping and handling

Review: On their warranty, they specifically state that we must call them prior to service. The number they give just has a recording then it hangs up. After trying every avenue I could find, I have come to realize there is no way to contact them. Many complaints have been made on their facebook page about them not honoring the warranty even after money orders had been sent.Desired Settlement: $49

The screen got cracked on the Tablet we called and they send a money order and the tablet in so I sent it in to have it repaired 06/**/2013 and they received the package 06/**/2013 about 9:30. I have had no response from them on the issue, I have called multiple times and had no response, It is now 08/**/2013 and I have heard nothing from them I have called numerous times and no response from them at all. They have my money order for 55.00 and it cost me 9.90 to ship the tablet back to them. [redacted] was the name of the gentleman that told me to send the money order in. All the numbers that we have for them allows me to speak to no one they are all automated. I have had nothing but a run around from this company trying to get the repairs made on my tablet. We have had issues with this company even from the start trying to get the warranty activated on the device.Desired Settlement: I would like for the device to be repaired and returned to me!! a phone call or email would be nice to let me know the status of the repair. or if they are back logged just let me know something on the issue

Sincerely,

Review: I sent my sons Coby Kyros to be fixed in May of 2013. I was told that it would take 6 weeks. It is the end of

August and we still have not received it back. I called at the beginning of July 2013 and was told that they were unable to fix it and the style I owned was no longer being made so they would be sending me an equal value tablet. The gentlemen then said he would email me the tracking number which has still not happened. I have tried calling all the customer service numbers along with headquarters only to get busy signals or an answering machine telling me to go to the [redacted] website. I have sent 5 emails with no response.

The Tablet was sent to:

Coby Electronic Corp.

[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like them to replace the tablet and send it out immediately or refund me the cost of the tablet plus the $8.95 shipping and the returning shipping that I sent with the tablet (money order) of $15.00, Total of 69.99 plus 24.95 equaling a total refund of $94.94

Review: I returned a Coby tablet to the address I received from coby. I followed all instructions. I sent the tablet on May [redacted] 2013. I had not heard anything from the company by the [redacted] of July. I called the company. The person I spoke to said the tablet was on the loading dock, waiting to be picked up. I have waited for weeks to receive my tablet. I have attempted to contact the company in numerous ways. I have e-mailed the company and attempted to call the company. I have tried all the numbers I can find. I either get a number that is no longer in service or am directed to leave a message and the voice mail is full. This is very frustrating because the tablet was a Christmas gift for my 16 year old son and he has used it very little. Thank You, [redacted]Desired Settlement: I just want a new tablet. I would also request that the tablet last more than a few months.

Review: For five months now we have been wating for the return of two tablets we purchased from Fry's Electronics here in San Diego, CA. the tablets are manufactured by Coby Electronics and were under a one year warranty. We actually purchased four tablets as gifts for our grandsons and those were given to them in March. However after only two weeks of use two out of the four tablets broke. So we did what Coby requested of us for a refund or replacement, which was to return the tablets with a $15.00 money order for each to Coby Electronics. Since that time we have not received any replacements nor have we been reimbursed for the tablets. We have repeatedly called, emailed and sent letters to the company to absolutely no avil! We have copies of all of the letters and emails sent, as well as a time line of all of the phone calls we have made to resolve the issue. We are angry, and frustrated with their lack of customer care and business ethics, which they seem to have none of. If you check out their [redacted] page they say they will not address indviual issues on the page, and to use their "Support help button" well that button doesn't evne work and if you try to leave a message on there it will not let you because it is an expired page. If you further check into the page you will find a lot of frustrated and irate customers with the same complaints. If you write them an email they simply do not respond! They are nothing short of being theives, shame on you Coby Electronics for stealing my grandson's birthday gifts!Desired Settlement: What I would like to see is the company appologize for their lack of customer service and I feel they should reimburse us for all four of the tablets purchased to make up for the inconviences and frustrations they have created. The total cost for all four of the tablets purchased as well as the two money orders for $15.00 each and the $18.35 postage we paid to send them the two tablets. I feel that they owe us at least this much so that we can go out and purchase a good quality tablet for each of the boys and not have to worry about the two that we still have, one day that will most likey stop working.

Review: I purchased a Coby Kyros tablet for my son in December 2012 for Christmas. After about 3 months, it stopped working and would not take a charge. When I bought it, I bought the extended warranty thru Square Trade. I contacted them and was told that Coby warranties their products for the first year and that the Square Trade warranty will start after the first year. I called Coby and spoke with [redacted]. He told me to send the tablet and the charger back and if they can't fix it, they will replace it and that it should take 4-6 weeks. He instructed me to send it with the original receipt and a $15 money order to their [redacted] location. I sent that via UPS Priority Mail on 6/**/13. I have since called but the recording that you get when you call their message tells you to go to their website - no options to speak to anyone. I sent numerous emails to them and haven't hear a thing. I was researching Coby this morning and see that there are many similar situations where they request the tablet and $15 and then are never heard from again. I'm hoping you could get this resolved.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the amount paid for this defective tablet. They have the copy of the receipt and the amount paid was $92.99. I do not wish for a replacement because I do not want anything that is a Coby brand again.

Sincerely,

Review: I purchased a Coby tablet from Toys R Us 11/**/12. I have been trying to contact customers service, as required by the warranty, to report the product was no longer working since August. The website states for warranty issues to call a phone number: ###-###-####. This phone number is just a recording that tells you to go to the website. I contacted Toys R Us who gave me another number ###-###-####, which doesn't work either. I've also emailed their sales & customer service emails shown on the website several times with no response to that as well. [redacted] & [redacted]) I'm extremely frustrated! At this point I'm running out of time on the 12 month manufacturers warranty & I've gotten no where. I cannot find a way to get a hold of coby. I would like to get this issue resolved ASAP & I'm hoping to get a response quickly.Desired Settlement: I want a return phone call or email with the warranty options...mail it in for repair, replacement, refund, etc.

Review: I purchased a 32inch Coby TV on 03/**/2013 @ Kmart store in [redacted] . The TV went out on 10/**/2013 and it will not come on at all. The power does not come on at all. I have called all of the contact numbers and address listed on the wedsite and instructions packet. I have attempted to call 10-15 times no answer. All the recording states to visit the website. They don't even respond to the e-mail online contact. The numbers used are 1.) ###-###-#### 2.) ###-###-#### 3.) ###-###-#### address listed

[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like for some one to contact me so that I can sent the TV for repair or exchange .

Review: I purchased a 32in Coby TV on 03/**/2012. The TV stopped working around July of 2012. I contacted COBY warranty and was instructed by [redacted] via E-mail (I still have the E-mail saved) to send a 50% money order to cover Labor and shipping fees and send the TV to Savannah Georgia. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I sent the TV to address requested on April **,2013 Tracking # [redacted] , with a %50.00 Western Union Money Order (Which I still have the Copy). The TV was delivered and signed by an individual Named [redacted]. After a month or so, I had yet to hear from Coby regarding my TV. I contacted Coby Warranty (Case #[redacted]) I was told that repairs had been completed on TV and was ready for shipment (To be returned). That never happened. After contacting them again, I was told that the whare house had been closed in [redacted] and moved to California. That my TV would be sent to me, from California, that never happened. Up till this day, I'm out of a TV which cost me $252.00. I Acumulated costs of $54.71 for shipping the TV, a $50.00 money order. The money order has already been cashed, and I confirmed this by contacting Western Union. $356.71 have been invested on a TV, for which I do not have, and I'm unable to contact Coby on the Status of my TV. Keep in mind that the $50.00 money order has been cashed, and still do not have a TV!!!! I need an update on this!!!!!Desired Settlement: I want the money invested on this Non-working TV ($356.71), which I do not have in my possession. As a consumer I have the right for this. Not to mention all "MY" time invested in resolving this issue!!!!!!

Sincerely,

Review: They received my tablet on May [redacted]. It is now July **. I have made three phone calls to them and they tell me they have no idea how long it will be before it is repaired and returned. One person said I would have it before July **. The last one said there is no date available. Now I can't even get in touch with anybody by phone or email. The line is either busy or they say to contact them on the Internet. That way, on the Internet, there is no way to contact them via customer service, phone number on the website or via email. It has been 11 weeks and no product. The tablet was only 4 months old when I sent it in for repair. They have poor customer service, poor contact information and no way to even contact them now. I am so frustrated with them. I just want my tablet fixed and returned now.Desired Settlement: Repair and Return of item immediately or a complete refund.

Sincerely,

Review: In December 2012 I purchased a Coby Kyros 7-inch Android 4.04 GB Internet Tablet from [redacted]. The tablet became defective due to a faded screen in May of 2013. I contacted Coby customer support and the Customer Technical Support Supervisor, [redacted], email [redacted], emailed me back, telling me the unit was defective and that if the original seller would not take it back, that I should send it to COBY Electronics, [redacted] along with the purchase receipt, details of what was wrong, my contact information and a $15 money order. Since the purchase was made over 30 days before, [redacted] would not take the tablet back. I sent the tablet to Coby along with the required paperwork and money order via USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. They received it on May **, 2013. Since then, I have been waiting for the replacement tablet. I have called their "support" at least five times and each time was given an excuse as to why I have not received the tablet. The first time the delay was because they were moving their inventory to CA. Yesterday when I called, I was told the warehouse was doing inventory and I needed to call back on August *, 2013. I called their corporate headquarters last week, only to get caught in a phone tree. If you don't know someone's name there, you are out of luck. I did find a list of corporate names, went through the phone tree again and left two messages, but got no return calls. A recorded operator says you can leave a message, but when you choose that option, the recording says it cannot take any more messages. The support number is an outsourced group, they are not Coby employees. COBY Electronics has had the tablet over two months now and I still do not have a replacement.Desired Settlement: I am no longer interested in getting a table or any other device from COBY Electronics. I paid $83.99 for the tablet and with the $15.00 Coby wanted for mailing a tablet replacement to me, it comes to a total of $98.99.

Review: I have (had) a Coby Kyros MID7022 tablet ([redacted]). The "back" button stopped working, so I called Coby (###-###-####) for support in late May 2013. They told me to mail the unit to them along with a $15 money order to cover sending the repaired / replaced unit back to me. I did this on June * and they received it on June 3 (my USPS tracking number is [redacted]). They said wait 4-6 weeks and they'd send it back (repaired or replaced). I had not received the unit by July **, so I called and spoke to [redacted]. He explained it was supposed to ship on July *, but nothing had been shipped. I should call back the following week. I called July ** and spoke to [redacted] (the only [redacted] there). He gave me the same information regarding the July * shipment. He suggested I call Coby directly on ###-###-####. I did this, pressed 0 for operator, no one answered, the call was forwarded to voice mail, where an automated voice told me the mail box was full and I could not leave a message. I went to Coby's support site ([redacted] and used their email form to explain what had happened and ask about my tablet. I have heard nothing back by 7/**, so I called their support number again. No one answers. You are instructed to visit the Coby web site for support. The Coby web site says to call the support number or send an email. I found an 800 number for Coby on the Revdex.com site. I tried to call it, but just get a busy signal. So they have my tablet and my $15 money order and I have nothing.Desired Settlement: I would like Coby to repair and return my tablet. Or send me a replacement similar to or better than my tablet.

If that's not possible, I would like Coby to refund the original purchase price ($90) plus my cost for mailing the tablet ($15) plus the cost of the money order ($17) for a total of $122.

Sincerely,

Review: I have been trying to call Coby for the past week in a half to check the status of my tablet replacement. I have not been able to get through on the phone and was referred to the website. I was told on Thursday, July **, 2013 by COBY customer service rep. that the replacement was ready for shipment, but to call back in 3 days to get a tracking number. I did that on July **, 2013 and received a busy tone.

I need someone to assist me with this matter as soon as possible because it has been three months since I sent in my product and waiting for communication. Every number I have called I get a busy signal. I had to send a $15 money order for my item to be shipped back to me and I have not heard anything from any one. I have sent emails as well and have not had any form of communication back from Coby.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my tablet replaced as I was told or I would like a full refund of my item along with the extra money I spent for shipping and the extended warranty ASAP.

Sincerely,

Review: I sent my daughters tablet back to Coby under warranty with a $15 cashiers check (said it was needed to send replacement). That was sent April **, 2013 and delivery confirmation of April **, 2013. I have called Coby in June, was given a run around about a warehouse closing in GA and the new tablet should be received to me by the first weekend in July. I called when it still didn't show up and spoke with a [redacted] and a [redacted] is the Supervisor I guess. I was told it was taking longer than expected and shipments were to start going out again the following week which would have been approximately the [redacted] of July. I still haven't received the replacement and now the number for customer support just gives you there email address and you cannot speak with anyone any longer. I called the HQ in New York and you cannot get anyone there either. I am very frustrated at this point. I have my mail receipt to when I sent the defective one in along with my $15 cashiers check from my bank and the receipt from purchase. The numbers I have called are Customer Service [redacted] New York HQ: [redacted] The address I was told to send back defective tablet to is out of GA. I am not sure what to do now.Desired Settlement: At this point I would like my money back for the purchase of the tablet plus my $15 I had to pay for them to send me a replacement that still hasn't been received. If this isn't an option I would like my replacement tablet as this was a gift to my daughter for Christmas and now she has been without since April!
