I only agree to this resolution if I receive my paper on a daily basis without fail.  I will file another complaint if at any time I do not receive my paper in a timely fashion.  I was given a direct contact number to make sure my paper is received which I was never given prior to this time.  Only a 1-800 # was available to call.  I have the right to continue to file complaints with Revdex.com if The Sacramento Bee does not follow through with continued customer service of making sure paper is delivered on a daily basis and customer service is improved.

I am rejecting this response because:March 22, 2016Thank you for your March 18, communicationFurther dialog would seem fruitless in this case.Consider the following:Subscription was cancelled August The Bee activated subscription absent my consent NovI received no paper following cancellationI received statements (bills) in November - December, and JanOnly the Jan? ? bill had an amount...$Prior bills were without amountI placed four or five calls to [redacted] number - one voice contact, others found office closed but was advised the Bee reactivates subscriptions absent customer consentJanuary a rude collector type person called, told him all of the above and if they would send ? bill, explaining what it represented I would pay it just to terminate their pestering me - hence the $bill that I paid under protestI was a subscriber to the Bee for some 36+ yearsSuggest your office retire this matter as you have spent far too much time already and the Bee has been paid, rather overpaid

Contacted customer and confirmed that they did receive delivery service this past weekend 07/07-07/Customer account status is in good standing and that finances would not impact deliveryConfirmed with customer that delivery escalation with distribution was sent for follow up on June and June If you have any further questions or request please contact us at [redacted].?

Attempted to contact customer however no success and left message with customer answering machine. I am rejecting this response because: The Sacramento Bee has failed to deliver my paper on countless occasions over the last several years.? It is very hard to actually talk to a Bee employee regarding missed papers, instead you are routed to an automated answering machine and told that your paper will be delivered, and then the paper, almost always, does not arrive.? On May 18th, I called the Bee four different times, between 8:AM and 11:AM, to ask for my missing paper and was told each time that my problem was being elevated to the Distribution Departments management for resolution, but my paper was never deliveredThis is the same response provided to my past and current complaints, so it appears that the Bee's business model will not change.I have talked to many of my neighbors on many occasions, and they all report having the same delivery problems from the Bee.The Bee's offer to extend my subscription for two weeks is not accepted, since I probably will not receive a paper during most of the two weeks.? ? ? There should be no reason for the missed papers. As of today, 6/30/17, we have processed a 7 day credit, which extends your subscription from 8/23/17 to 8/30/17. I am rejecting this response because:? I accept that Sac Bee did not negatively report to credit bureau.Re price disparity -- I know for a fact that your response is not truthful? I know of people who pay a small fraction of what you were trying to charge me? They were not new customers? They live in my area? They have the same, identical service and product that we do? I know this for a fact? I note Sac Bee did not respond re the automatic renewal service complaint? And then Sac Bee does not receive cancellations submitted through their very own websiteThat's the way Sac Bee does regular business? I thank Revdex.com for their efforts? I believe any further response from Sacramento Bee is a waste of time

because: i received a all from a supervisor at the Bee on 3/2. the only thing I got from her was that she would contact the distribution director. That was it. I still am not receiving a paper 7 it is now 52 days. Why this person notes " late delivery" I'm not sure. she should have said "no delivery" Nothing has been resolved & I have no indication of if or when it will be. I thank you for your help

Customer's account was in a grace period when the payment was posted on 3/6/15. Ms. [redacted] previous account started on 7/4/14 and expired on 12/25/14. Since the account does not stop automatically, the paper continued after the expiration date. The Bee allows a 90 day grace period for subscribers...

to renew their subscription. The Bee also send out renewal notices stating the paper does not stop unless The Bee is notified otherwise. The renewal notices for Ms. [redacted] were sent on 1/4/14, 1/29/15 & 3/5/15. Then, one of our retention vendors called to collect payment. This payment would have paid the account until 6/18/15. Our records show several transctions placing the account on vacation stops from 3/14/15-3/22/15, then again on 5/21/15-5/26/15, then again on 5/27/15-6/6/15. Once the account expired on 6/18/15, there continued to be activity on the account. Another vacation request was placed from 7/29/15-8/5/15 and 9/14/15-9/23/15 before permanantly stopping on 9/23/15.There is no indication of any refund on this account. Since the account was expired on 6/18/15 and stopped on 9/23/15, the amount owing is $49.19. However, as Ms. [redacted] states, she was under the impression the account was going to be stopped. The account will be cleared of the $49.19 to update the account status to a zero balance. Please note, if you decide to resubscrbe at any time, the subscription does not stop automatically. Please feel free to contact us at [redacted] if you have any further questions or concerns.Thank you
