I am rejecting this response because:As previously stated, this issue was deemed resolved in the beginning of April 2015 as no more contact was made from the Bee to me. [redacted] was informed that I did not want to continue my subscription and the lack of information on cancellationI was told about this grace period and so I let the business know that I did not want to continue my subscription during this "grace period". I don't accept that the Sacramento Bee wants to hear from their customers for a few reasons. Firstly the physical address listed for the Bee has an incorrect zip. Secondly the representative was extremely curt on the phone and was not pleasant to deal with, why would I want to call and talk to others from the same company? Third I sent a cease and desist to which the business completely ignored, so when I did contact them they refused to acknowledge contact nor heed requests. If a customer is to make the assumption that they are to do all the leg work to contact the company about cancellation, then they should also assume that the company does not really want to see or hear from them by mail since the address is listed incorrectly.I have already contacted the collection agency about this incorrect debt. I have already asked more than three times but I will ask again, please show me a signed contract where I acknowledged the terms of the subscription and fully understood how to cancel my subscription. I will pay the debt I owed on April 3rd and no more with a signed contract, as I had stated more than once to Mr. [redacted] that I did not intend on continuing my subscription ever.

I will accept this ONLY if I get my paper delivered this Sunday.  They didn't deliver last week despite several calls and multiple emails.  This Sunday's paper has never been delivered, either, despite multiple emails and email responses from them promising the paper every day for the last 4 days.  I'll believe there's some VIP list and that there's an actual Distribution Director when I see it.  I've ALSO been promised on 3 separate occasions a call from a distribution manager which never happened. If my paper isn't received on Sunday morning (08/13), I won't want to be on some stupid list.  I'll want my refund.  And if any other paper is missed where I have to call or write again, I want a refund.

I am rejecting this response because:  The Sac Bee must provide me with a letter acknowledging their mistake and confirming that no money is owed to them.

Customer account was not reported to any credit reporting agencies and it will not impact credit score or credit report. We adjusted the account to a zero balance so that they will not receive any calls or letters regarding an outstanding balance. Our published rate for The Bee is $19.21 per week. While rates are subject to change as stated on all renewals bills, your rate was on a discounted rate from our full price. Also not every customer will pay the same amount due to different delivery schedules and additional items that a customer can add to their subscription which is not included to pricing. As per conversation with [redacted]Customer was provided full break down of account such as auto pay. Customer has their account set up...

for every 5 weeks and all auto pay transactions are only processed on Monday's. As explained to customer who had expired on a Wednesday they will not be charged until that following Monday. Verified transaction date of payment and date coverage of their subscription. *Explained to customer how each individual account is personalized. Customer's have different options such as delivery days, length of payment and bill vs auto pay.  *Customer mentioned relatives pricing and as explained to customer each subscription can be purchased through a variety of different third party vendors, online or mail offers that provided different promotional pricing. *Customer mentioned that she was having a delivery issues with the carrier. I explained that the carrier are not Bee employees but independently contracted. I reviewed with the customer the last complaint processed on her account was 11/16/2016 and within the last four months prior to November customer had made three delivery complaints a month. Before the call had ended customer and I had agreed on her contacting me after she had finished "doing her research" and that I would be replying to Revdex.com complaint. As of today 02:30 pm I still have not heard from customer.

I am rejecting this response because: The Sacramento Bee has failed to deliver my paper on countless occasions over the last several years.  It is very hard to actually talk to a Bee employee regarding missed papers, instead you are routed to an automated answering machine and told that your paper will be delivered, and then the paper, almost always, does not arrive.  On May 18th, 2018 I called the Bee four different times, between 8:40 AM and 11:02 AM, to ask for my missing paper and was told each time that my problem was being elevated to the Distribution Departments management for resolution, but my paper was never delivered. This is the same response provided to my past and current complaints, so it appears that the Bee's business model will not change.I have talked to many of my neighbors on many occasions, and they all report having the same delivery problems from the Bee.The Bee's offer to extend my subscription for two weeks is not accepted, since I probably will not receive a paper during most of the two weeks.     I ask the Revdex.com to not list the Sacramento Bee as a Revdex.com recommended/approved company. Thank you,[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  Although The Sacramento Bee neglected to state that my lack of delivery was solely a distribution error I am  pleased to finally have delivery of my paper which was the intent of my complaint.  Thank you!

Customer submitted a temporary stop from 01/15-02/04 through our automated service then customer called in on 02/04 asking for another stop from 02/05-02/26 requesting for us to hold the papers and to deliver them upon her return. For those papers she was charged for since she did receive...

them. She had expired on 02/11 so her payment post on 02/16 for $25.40 for 5 weeks however the customer did continue on a temporary stop from 02/26-04/05 which she did receive credit for which is why she received a refund of $14.87. The Bee vacation policy since Sept 2012 that a customer can place an account on hold with the options of holding the papers and delivering when they return, donating the papers to your local school or granting access to our online E-edition. If a customer will be gone for more than 21 days we can credit the account from the 21st day more moving forward like the the temporary stop from 02/05-04/05.
