I have received a check from this company but I don't know whyI don't want to can it for fear that it is a scam
The check is for 89.19, supposedly a refund for incorrect rateIncorrect rate for what? I am receiving collection letters from Constellation Energy Services, and I have NEVER used their services! They are sending me notices that say, "FINAL NOTICE PRIOR TO TERMINATION", and that I owe them $I have no idea who this company is, nor do I believe that I owe them ANY MONEY FOR ANYTHING! I have read accounts online of MANY similar experiences by other unwitting victims of this scam, as well

During door-to-door solicitation, company rep told me that I had to buy his company's product; claimed I would violate a city law if I didn't
A representative of this company came to my door around 3pm on Feb 14thHe said that, based on a law passed by the city of Champaign IL, all homes were now required to buy his company's energy productsHe insinuated if I did not sign up, I would be in violation of local lawHe wanted me to show him a bill to see if we already had the serviceHe was overall extremely pushy, and would not leave until I asked him multiple times

This company customer service is not about customers at all I have been with this company for almost years and in the last year Constellation/Star Plus Energy service has been anything but customer friendly I have been a faithful loyal on time paying customer now all of sudden I receive a bill twice my payment because my contract expired I asked why wasn't I informed and a new contract sent to me like the company had did the previous years No response but it was my responsibility and no matter what I decided to do I had to pay the high bill No more rudeness

I was enrolled in Constellation New Energy Gas without my verbal or written consent I was greatly surprised and dismayed upon receiving my local gas bill to note that I had been enrolled in Constellation I do not know this company and I have never had any affiliation with them I did telephone them to cancel any enrollment They said they would unenroll me, however, this would take up to billing periods Since their rates are HIGHER than my local rates, they receive a profit from me, again, without my consent This is a fraudulent profit as it is obtained without my consent to enroll I am submitting this complaint to warn others I hope that Revdex.com of Kentucky, etc., will note this Company in their District as practicing illegal enrollment techniques

I think the company and the company's agent are suspected of contract fraud
In October, a man claiming to be a broker came to my restaurantHe recommended to me a more favorable price in electricity and coal aboveI believed him and signed two contracts with himHe told me two points, first, I got a more favorable priceSecond, I can cancel the contract at any time, and do not need to pay other feesIn January 2017, I received a gas bill from Constellation NewEnergy, IncI found that the bill fee is not only not cheap, but it is higherSo I call to the call center for help, I hope to get a correct market priceI talked to them twice in a week and did not get a clear answer.In 02/16, their manager told me that there was no way to help meIf I want to cancel the contract, I need to pay a high feeI think this is a contract fraud

I never spoke to any rep from this company, or even heard of this companyThen I receive something in the mail that constellation was my new energy providerThey switched me to their company without my permission

A guy in a blue shirt came knocking on my door, I thought it was another salesman, and I have a NO SOLICITING sign clearly posted on my screen door. I told the guy to keep moving, but he assured me he wasn't selling anything. I was curious at this point thinking he was here for a legitimate reason. He explained to me that he was with Constellation Energy and he wanted to qualify me for a stable rate that I pay for my energy. Asked me to show him a recent statement and he could check to see if I qualified, which I did. I use about 1000 KWH a month and all you need to use is 300. He offered a stable rate for gas and electric both, and both rates were lower than what BGE was charging. The offer included a 3 year contract where my rates stay the same for 3 years, a 90 day risk-free guarantee where in those 90 days if I decided I did not like this contract, I could cancel free and clear. So I went ahead and signed up. On my next billing cyvle, my bill was about 50 bucks cheaper than it usually was. That winter my gas bill didn't go through the roof like I was expecting. I'm now in my 2nd year of the contract, and still my bill is lower than it originally was, and I can almost guess what my bill will be....within 20 bucks. I'm honestly glad this guy came and explained what Constellation does. I don't know why people claim they're getting royaly screwed over. All I can say is make sure they have an agent badge with a Rep ID #. This guy wrote his down along with his name and number. Not everyone who comes to your door is bad.

Promised the world, tied us into a 2 year contract, then didn't deliver on promises.
