fraudulent The agent provided [redacted] information to file fraud directly with [redacted] The agent placed the account in a disputed status and the collection activity was suspended sothis matter may be investigated.We are sorry to hear that [redacted] has been a victim of fraud.In response to this communication, Convergent Outsourcing has ceased communication. We have requested our information be removed from the credit bureaus. I have attached a copy of the credit deletion request for [redacted] records. In an effort to help [redacted] find resolution, we will forward a copy of this communication and our response to our client [redacted] may file a fraud claim with [redacted] directly at [redacted] or [redacted]We appreciate the opportunity to respond.

Convergent Outsourcing Inc. has investiga\ed Ms. [redacted]'s complaint. DirecTV placed thisaccount in our office 10/30/15 to collect $182.62 on their behalf.
On 01/05/2016, Convergent Outsourcing sent an email validation notice to Ms. [redacted]. Theemail asks for the last...

four digits of the social security number to verify the identity and open theemail, this is due to the personal and confidential nature of the email. Convergent Outsourcingdoes not send emails in an attempt to phish for information. On 01/05/2016, Ms. [redacted]unsubscribed to receiving email notices.
In response to this complaint, we have ceased communication. The above referenced accounthas been closed from our office and returned to our client. If there are any further inquiries,please have Ms. [redacted] contact DirecTV to ensure this matter is resolved. Convergent is nolonger handling this account.

I am rejecting this response because:I will just take legal action regarding this. I have tried to be civil & requested a copy of a contract with my signature. If sprint hired you, you should have everything I'm requesting. I'm very disappointed in the way your company conducts business. It is very unprofessional. The information I requested hasn't been provided therefore it's obviously unverifiable.

To date, this is the first communication we have received from [redacted] notifying us that she believes the account to be fraudulentIn response to receiving this communication, Convergent Outsourcing has closed the account as a dispute in our office and returned it to our client We will request our information be removed from the credit bureaus. We do not own the account and therefore cannot guarantee resolution. Convergent Outsourcing, Inc. has investigated Mr. [redacted]'s complaint.Convergent Outsourcing only collects on balances placed in our office by our clients. We  do not attempt to scam consumers. Verizon placed this account in our office on 02/25/16for [redacted] to collect a balance of$106.24.Our records indicate the account was placed in a cease communication status and phone numbers were removed on 03110/2016. In our first phone call on 03/10/2016 to Mr. [redacted], Mr. [redacted] handed the phone to a female speaker who refused to verify or allowing us to speak to consumer. She told us not to call. She then terminated the conversation. The female contacted us a few moments later to reiterate no further calls were to be made. At that point the account was placed in a cease communication status and phone numbers on account were removed after conversation with one of our managers.

To Whom It May Concem, Convergent Outsourcing, Inc. has received Mr. [redacted] complaint. T-Mobile placed this account in our office to collect a balance of $2060.83 on their behalf 12/22/2015. On 01/19/2016, we mailed a validation notice to the address on the account, matching what was...

provided in this complaint. The validation notice included Mr. [redacted] right to dispute the balance. On 08/18/2016, we were advised that Mr. [redacted] disputed a portion of the balance owed. The account was placed in a disputed status and the collection activity had been suspended so this matter may be investigated. Mr. [redacted] was advised that validation of the balance owed would be requested on his behalf from T-Mobile. Convergent Outsourcing believes it reported the account to the credit bureaus with both fair and accurate information. In response to this complaint, we have closed the account in our office and returned the account to our client, T-Mobile. We will request our information be removed from the credit bureaus. We do not own the account and therefore cannot guarantee resolution. If Mr. [redacted] has any further inquiries, please have him contact T-Mobile directly We appreciate the opportunity to respond.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: Once again they have ignored what I requested, simply sending a copied statement of an invoice is not providing validation. They have not responded to the validation request, simply sending a bill of a debt I do not recall is not validation. I also requested more information as noted in the validation letter. I have never received a bill or any documentation from [redacted] that I owed any balance.

Convergent Outsourcing, Inc. has received and investigated [redacted] complaint. This account initially began reporting to Trans Union on 08/27/2016. The information updated to the credit bureaus on 9/10/16, was a request for credit deletion per [redacted] previous complaint on 09/06/2016.
The account with [redacted] was closed from our office on 09/06/2016; we are no longer handling this matter. Ihave attached a copy of our credit deletion request for [redacted] records.
