Dear Mr. [redacted],ConvergentOutsourcing has investigated your complaint Sprint  placed this account in our office on04/23/12,to collect $340.96 on their behalf.The statute  of limitations sets  forth the  maximum period of time, after certain events, that legal proceedings based on those events may be initiated   It is not unlawful to request payment on a past statute account Convergent Outsourcing does not believe it has violated any laws.During our  Investigation we could  not  find any indications stating legal actionwould be taken. Convergent Outsourcing does not pursue legal action on any account we receive from our clients.In response to the complaint, we have placed the account into a cease communication, to prevent any further contact. We will forward a copy of your complaint and our response to our client Sprint.We appreciate the opportunity to respond

I am rejecting this response because: The information they provided is not enough, first of all the information is incorrect. Second I need to see a copy of the contract. I also want to see that they have a license and the rights to collect this debt. Since this was not provided it, I ask for them to delete this from the credit report.

With the information provided I was unable to locate an account in our system.The phone number provided in this complaint of [redacted] did not locate any information in our system. Is this the phone number Mr. [redacted]...

is receiving calls to?Mr. [redacted] states that we are attempting to reach another party at this phone number. Does Mr. [redacted] have the parties name our system and or agent is asking for?In this complaint, Mr. [redacted] states that he keeps receiving calls from Convergent Outsourcing. There was reference to a phone number that is calling him in this complaint of 661-873-0373. While attempting to investigate this matter we called 661-873-0373 and received a personal voice mail. This number is not affiliated with Convergent Outsourcing.To further investigate this matter we need additional information. Please have Mr. [redacted] provide the telephone number the calls are being received at. In addition Mr. [redacted] states that this is a business phone line. Is it possible the company has a different number we might be calling and it is being routed to Mr. [redacted]?The number in this complaint of [redacted] was already added to our "do not call list' to ensure we do not call this number. To have phone numbers being called removed from our system, Convergent Outsourcing, Inc. has a Do Not Call Line at 1-855-728-9701 or on our website at www.convergentusa .com.If Mr. [redacted] has any additional information that may be helpful in investigating this matter such as the dates of the calls, the time the calls were received,the phone number that appeared on the caller identification, he may send them to me directly at [redacted]@convergentusa.com.We appreciate the opportunity to respond and apologize for any inconvenience Mr. [redacted] may be experiencing in this matter.

Dish Network placed this account in our office 08/07/2015 to collect $107.14 on their behalf.On 08/11/2015 you scheduled a payment for $87.14.The agent agreed to have the $20.00 shipping fee that was included in your balance waived.Upon...

investigating your complaint, I found that Convergent Outsourcing did request that Dish Network credit the $20.00shipping fee from your balance.On 11/23/2015,Dish Network made the credit adjustment of $20.00. Convergent Outsourcing was notified of the credit adjustment on 11/27/2015.In response to your complaint, the account has been closed in our office with a zero balance as of 11/27/2015. Convergent Outsourcing has requested our information for the above referenced account to be removed from the credit bureaus. Convergent Outsourcing Inc. is a licensed collection agency who only collects on balances placed in our offices by our clients.In response to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint, the account has been closed in our office and returned to [redacted].  We will forward a copy of this complaint and our response to [redacted]. I am rejecting this response because:As you can see by the attachments, the 30.92 payment was the first of 12 payments which was opportunity #3 that THEY requested. So yes, I only paid 30.92, but it was the FIRST of 12 payments. Please do the math here, this is not complicated. When someone responds to your offer, then you follow through on your end of the deal. Thank you for admitting that you received the payment. It is clear now that you are at fault for breaking the deal. If you would like to receive another payment, then you need to remove it from my credit bureaus, and I will pay the balance as I agreed to do in the first place. I have held up my end of the deal, please try to be grownups here, and do the RIGHT thing.

Convergent Outsourcing, Inc. has reviewed the additional information received from Mr. [redacted]. The phone number 1-877-380-6578, has been provided to Convergent from PayPal. This number is for their Customer support for consumers who have inquiries or possible disputes with PayPal, so PayPal may aide in finding resolution.In response to receiving this information, our response remains the same. The account has been closed from our office and returned to PayPal. We do not own the account and therefore, cannot make any guarantees. We will forward a copy of this complaint and our response to our client. If Mr. [redacted] has any further inquiries please have him contact PayPal's customer support at [redacted] referencing the above PayPal account number.
