Convergent Outsourcing, Inc. has received Ms. [redacted] 's complaint. On 04/17/2017, Ms. [redacted] calledour office in response to a letter that she received at her address. When the agent pulled up theaccount she asked Ms. [redacted] to verify the last four digits of her social security number to ensure... wewere speaking with the correct party.The last four numbers Ms. [redacted] provided did not match the information on file. The agent thenapologized to Ms. [redacted] , and advised that her address would be removed. It is ConvergentOutsourcing's polity to ensure we have the correct person on the phone; we do not attempt to Phishfor information.We apologize for any inconvenience our letter may have caused and have since removed Ms. [redacted] 's address from the file.

Convergent Outsourcing has received Ms [redacted] 's additional informationConvergentOutsourcing has advised in our previous responses that Ms [redacted] 's account was placed in ouroffice to collect a balance on behalf of L VNV Funding, LLCConvergent Outsourcing only collects onbalances placed in our office by our clients; we do not buy or sell debt.In response to Ms [redacted] 's additional information, we do not own this account; and thereforecannot provide her anything that states that this account is resolved.This account was closed in our office as a dispute and returned to our client on 03/30/Asprovided in our prior response on 04/07/2017, should Ms [redacted] have any additional inquiriesregarding this matter, she may contact L VNV Funding, LLCdirectlyI have included the priorresponses made to the Revdex.com and the Attorney General's office for reference.We appreciate the opportunity to respond

To Whom It May Concern, Convergent Outsourcing, Inchas investigated this complaint Dish Network placed this account in our office on 06/29/2015, to collect a balance on their behalfWe are sorry to hear Ms [redacted] has had difficulty reaching someone in our officeConvergent Outsourcing is a licensed collection agency that only collects on balances placed in our office by our clientsWe do no attempt to scam consumersMs [redacted] states she had not been notified of the balanceWe mailed a validation notice with Ms [redacted] right to dispute this balance on 6/30/2015, to the same address provided in this complaint A second notice was mailed on 8/14/Convergent Outsourcing did not receive a response from Ms [redacted] Upon investigation of this complaintI found that we spoke with Ms [redacted] on behalf of this account on 7/3/at the same number provided in this complaintUpon review of the phone call Ms [redacted] did not indicate the account to be fraudulent or dispute owing the balanceIn response to this complaint, the account was closed in our office and returned to our client Dish Network on 01/14/Our information was requested to be removed from the credit bureaus on 09/13/If Ms [redacted] has any further inquiries please have her contact Dish Network directly as we are no longer handling the accountA fraud claim may be filed with Dish Network directly by Phone at 1-800-333-DISH OR their website at Identitytheft:@dish.comWe appreciate the opportunity to respond

Re: Case ID#: [redacted] To Whom It May Concern, Convergent Outsourcing, Inchas investigated Ms [redacted] complaint that she has received calls for years asking for another individual and offers the following responseOn April 20, one of our clients placed an account with us under another name, on which the phone number [redacted] listed in Ms [redacted] complaint was a contact numberConvergent Outsourcing has called the phone number [redacted] one time on 05/02/at 2:24pm eastern timeWe did not speak with anyone on this phone call as there was no answerOn 05/02/at 4:38pm eastern time, Ms [redacted] called back and stated she has had a missed callIt was discovered that the phone number Ms [redacted] had received the call to, was listed for another partyThe agent marked the phone number badMs [redacted] also spoke with a supervisor who additionally, added the phone number of [redacted] to our "do not call" list, and we have notified our client to have the phone number added to their "do not call" listWe have no information regarding any calls made to Ms [redacted] at the number [redacted] before the account on which it was listed was placed with us in April of and we have not placed any calls to the number since May 2nd, when we were advised it was a wrong phone numberIf Ms [redacted] is receiving calls to any other phone number than the one she has provided in this complaint, to research this matter further Ms [redacted] may provide dates, times and the phone number(s) to which the calls were placedWe can also have additional numbers added to our "do not call" listTo have phone numbers being called in error removed from our system, Convergent Outsourcing, Inchas a Do Not Call Line at 1-855-728-or on our website at www.convergentusa.comWe appreciate the opportunity to respond and apologize for any inconvenienceRespectfully,
