I contacted Convergent several times over the spr [redacted] and summer of regard [redacted] a paid collection item show [redacted] on my credit fileOver the course of our conversations and a previous Revdex.com complaint I filed, convergent ultimately agreed to have the item removed from my credit file on 9/26/via a letter (attached)The paid collection item was removed from my transunion and equifax credit files but is still show [redacted] on my experian fileI've contacted convergent multiple more times since I discovered it was still show [redacted] but they are refus [redacted] to have it removed even though I have a letter from their Lead Compliance Representative stat [redacted] it would be removedI'm request [redacted] that the item be removed from the experian file as promised so I can be done with this issue.I'm request [redacted] that the item be removed from the experian file (and confirmation that it won't reappear on other files) as was previously promised to me so I can be done with this issue

To Whom It May Concern, Convergent Outsourcing, Inc. has received and investigated Mr. [redacted] fraud dispute. Sprint placed this account in our office on 10/19/2016, to collect a balance on their behalf. On 10/31/2016, Mr. [redacted] spoke with an agent in our office and advised that he believed the... account to be fraud. The account was placed in a disputed status and collection activity was suspended to this matter may be investigated. Upon investigation of this matter, we were able to review on Sprint's iCare system, that fraud was not suspected on this account. Convergent Outsourcing has mailed a fraud packet to Mr. [redacted] in an attempt to help him find a resolution. He may fill out and gather the necessary information located in the packet and return it to Sprint's fraud management department. The account will remain in a disputed status in our office. Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The information they provided is not enough, first of all the information is incorrectSecond I need to see a copy of the contractI also want to see that they have a license and the rights to collect this debtSince this was not provided it, I ask for them to delete this from the credit report

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Although the representative asked for the last four of my social security number, I would ask WHY my address was used? What is the purpose of this company sending this notice, along with enticement to reduce the amount you have to pay to settle this balance, to every person with my same name? What if I had given a fake last four SS? Would they still have taken my address off the list? Of course they would have, cause it would not have matched their records.They can deny phishing but I maintain that if you send out a credit collection notice to enough people there will be people sending in payment. This company does not ask you to verify your last of your SS when you submit the payment. So please tell me what processes they have in place to identify a payment made by the wrong person with the same name on the collection notice? Sincerely, [redacted]
