Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situationPlease be advised that I have tried to reach Ms*** on two occasions (12/8/** & 12/10/**) and unfortunately have had to leave a voice messageAs of now I have not received a return callMs***’s Monogram refrigerator is
over twelve years old and out of warrantyAs a gesture of goodwill GE agreed to waive the labor charges for the recent service call with GE Factory Service that was completed on December 5, 20**Also be advised that the part that was recently installed was not a part that had been previously installedIf Ms*** still wishes to speak with someone regarding the matter I am happy to discuss further and she is welcome to give me a return call at her convenienceI can be reached between 8:00-5:00pm EST, Monday-Friday

Today* *** *** * *** *** *** *** *** ** ***I have reviewed the offer for a technician to come out and assess the dishwasher situation from GE I will be in touch with *** to make an appointment I am accepting this offer, but am not resolved with the complaint yet My goal is still to get reimbursed for the dishwasher and for GE to remove this unit I will not be satisfied till that happensI have been having these problems with both units since I got the dishwashers I have had to take time off from workI've had to wash and rewash my dishes I have no faith in this dishwasher that it is cleaning my dishesThe technician that was here originally stated that if the unit does not use the soap, my dishes are not clean, even though they look cleanedNow I have to take another day off from work and you can imagine how happy my boss will be with that*** has not been very nice about this whole situation

I bought the GE refrigerator model: GFE29HSDISS, serial: SD5174211, when I bought my new home in McKinney in November On December the refrigerator stop workingCustomer care took from December 19th (complaint date) until end of January to fixI did a complain here in Revdex.com and after the technician came, it was closed (#10352295)Now the refrigerator is freezing my foodAfter months, I got that only first month working properlyI have attempted to substitute this refrigerator, with no successI'm now sick and tired of calling with no solutionCustomer care seems that doesn't care at all about their customersIf this complaint doesn't work, I will follow my attorney advise and sue GE for all food, time and money spentPlease helpThanks / *** ***

*** *** *** from GE called meWhen I asked her about the circuit board with a "rework 7/16/2012" sticker (also the date of production according to the serial number) she said "GE does this all the time." I asked her if my dishwasher could have other reworked parts in it, she said "if I had to guess I would say yes." This means GE is selling reworked dishwashers to dealers without letting them know they have been reworked so they can provide this information to their customers I still don't have an answer as to what was added, taken away, or bypassed on the printed circuit boardGE customer relations told me GE would never do a rework, blamed *** *** and told me to take it up with them so *** the case manager closed my case and would not return my callFinally knowing what I do now of GE's business practice I can't be confident that a new replacement would not be a factory reworkIn a meeting with *** ***'s manager he said he would not knowingly purchase a factory reworkMs*** did clear *** *** of this dirty deed and I feel GE needs to be further investigated regarding this business practiceConsumers need to know Regards,

1/7/Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer's case. We are very sorry that the appliances are in need of service at this time. Please be advised that our technician went to the home yesterday to assess the situation, identified one part for the dryer and one part
for the washer that is needed. The return service call will take place tomorrow with two technicians. Part of the problem with the dryer was that their vent was clogged, creating the moisture buildup in the dryer cavity. The ***'s have since corrected this issue and the dryer is drying on the timed cycle at this time. The washer is working as well, but creating a noisy situation at certain times during the cycle. We fully believe these issues are correctable

I have contacted Ms*** and was advised that *** called her today and they are delivering the new unit tomorrow. Ms*** was invited to call me back if she has any future questions. As a gesture of
goodwilll, GE is sending a rebate coupon for $towards the purchase of a new GE major appliance
