right. They are just too big obviously to truly look into the complaint to see how ridiculous their request to move my water heater really was. 
They are sending me an energy credit of $50 which honestly doesn't cover the additional electric cost while the unit wasn't operating properly. I ended up with a relocated water heater that causes my clothes dryer to now stick out in the room and I have to reach over it to get to the cloths washer. This is due to poor communication and training between GE and [redacted]s installers and not providing the correct information to the consumer regarding the installation needs on the water heater when purchased as well as not installing correctly to begin with, according to GE. 
Short of the pick up return credit I asked for, a good compromise from GE would have been agreeing to service the unit as installed.  GE was extremely inflexible in coming up with an installation solution to match the available space for the water heater and insisted it be re-installed 3" from the wall when there was clearly an 270 degree access from all other sides. Even after the unit was moved, the GE technician still complained about the available access even though there is and was more access to the unit than shown in the companies installation video on their website. 
Not buying this brand again anytime soon.

When you purchase a big item appliance, you expect it to last longer than 5 years.  Maybe with you adding only a 1 year warranty, it means your products are not quality made.  Every appliance I own is GE, which I thought was a quality item, but after this experience I will be purchasing another brand as items need replacing.  No wonder there are so many Revdex.com complaints against GE.

I could not be more satisfied with GE and their response for rectifying this situation.  WIth help from the Revdex.com and Mr [redacted], I am very excited to continue my business with GE.  As I expressed to Mr [redacted], its not that problems arrise in situations, its the willingness and the ability to correct the problem  Thank you to all that was involved in resloving this matter.

If it was a parts only situation I should've been able to use someone of my choice who would've been a lot less expensive. They sent the person who repaired my water heater and told me that it would be $99. That is my complaint. When the gentleman arrived he then told me he was charging an additional fee which made it $219.  I have since contacted a local repair man who indicated that his charge would've been $120. Therefore GE's repair man is charging 100 more dollars than a local repair man would have. So they left me zero choice but to use their person who once again charged more than $15 per minute.  So while they indicate that the part was of no cost to me obviously they inflated their charges to offset it and then insisted that I used someone of their choosing. The issue here is that they forced me to use their repair man, told me it would be one fee and then bait and switched me once the person arrived. That is poor business. That is dishonest business. And it is even more frustrating that they're not even researching and dealing with the lack of accurate information that was given to me. I've been given nothing but the runaround by this company and no one is taking responsibility for their a me once the person arrived. That is poor business. That is dishonest business. After talking to Mr. [redacted] from GE, his response was brief and he didn't want to see proof of what the mechanic misinformed after the fact.  I proposed to send a picture of what the mechanic stated the 2 repairs are not related but they are just right next to one another.  Or having a representative coming to the house to do an investigation.  He denied both offers.  This is beyond ridiculous.  But I guess that's the way GE is doing business.Hope the next victim would come forward to expose this kind of behavior from GE mechanic and their tactics.
