[redacted]Dear Revdex.comGE has offered to sell us yet another hot water heater, at a pro rated rate. We have in fact refused this offer. Since the original heater has NEVER worked properly, and we have NEVER gained the claimed savings the heater has to offer, we feel GE should replace the heater with the second generation heater, as they informed us of the "inherent problems" with the first generation. GE should also take responsibility for the related costs of removal and installation of the new heater. Their claim that we "refused" service on the fifth service call is FALSE. We were unable to receive service due to the fact no parts were on hand for the repairman. On the prior 4 visits, GE would send parts to our home ahead of time for the repairman to install.  We also had 3 other service dates that we were home for, and were cancelled by GE at the last minute for various reasons. This is a total of 8 days waiting on repairs, which by their own admission is "excessive". We would prefer that GE give us a full refund on the heater, pay for the removal of it, and compensate us for the savings we never gained. Alternately, we would ask GE To agree to maintain the costs of repairs, labor, and house calls for the remainder of the 10 year warranty.

 Yes, it has been repaired (replaced mother board) but what guarantee do I have that it won't break down again.  It is a two year old dishwasher.  It should not be acting up.  I have repeatedly said that I believe there is something wrong with this dishwasher.  Either GE give me a longer warranty on it or replace the unit with something better that actually works.  What compensation do I get for going through all the hoops just to get a dishwasher repaired.
GE, please read my original complaint and tell me that your recent response is enough.

Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situation. I left a voicemail with the consumer this morning.  Our factory service technician was just out this morning 12/1/16 and discovered that the consumer that they have a chlorine system that pumps chlorine into their water...

supply.  The consumer is going to unplug the chlorine pump the next 2 weeks.  The technician stated there’s nothing in the washer that can hold bleach that would affect the clothing several loads later after bleach has been used.  The technician also called our technical assistance group (TAG) and they also suggested she use only 1 cap full of bleach instead of 2.  There was nothing found wrong with the washer.   Please contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistance.

I spoke with Mr. [redacted] a few weeks ago about getting a second technicians opinion.  We set it up for 2/10/14.  Since then, I see that the consumer has rescheduled the call for 2/16, 2/18, 2/20, 2/23, 2/26, 3/2 and...

now 3/4. 
I tried reaching out to Mr. [redacted] but the mailbox is full and I couldn't leave a message.  If the call gets rescheduled again from the 3/4 date, I will cancel the appointment and wait for his call back to discuss this further.

Although GE did send someone out to fix the fridge, I ended up paying a total of $263 dollars to have the issue resolved. As stated before, the fridge is in pristine condition which the GE repair man can attest to and I have lost hundreds of dollars in groceries over the past year. To have a 1 year warranty on such an expensive item is absurd, there is an IMPLIED warranty when investing in such equipment. I expect a brand new fridge to last over a year, and if not, I expect the company to do right by its paying customers and resolve the issue fairly. Charging me $263 dollars for a $1200 fridge is hardly justified, especially as I watched the repair process being completed. The repair man did not even look at the fridge at first. He asked me what was happening, the issue, and so I explained. After I explained, he stated a price off the top of his head without even opening the fridge. When I asked if he would even check the specific piece for malfunction or damage, he acted as if that was a silly question. He stated he has changed thousands of "motherboards" and sensors (all of which are one part that allow an entire fridge to function). I was shocked, it seemed to me that GE is aware of this common issue but doesn't address it in the manufacturing process because house calls like this generate revenue for them. Unethical and uncalled for.  Also, I have done some investigating with the serial number of the part replaced. Seems to me, the MAXIMUM price for such a piece averages around $100, please see the attached photographs. So yet AGAIN, GE marked up the price just to mark it down at a "discount" of 25%. In the end, no discount was actually given, instead GE made money on this house call with the part, and labor fee. (note the receipt, GE appliance man was in my home for a total of 25 minutes @ $135.00. That is more than most lawyers make.)

fridges and will not guarantee a 3 year warranty free of charge GE sent two defective fridges. After a lot of back and forth,I was finally able to get them to repair the second defective fridge. GE now has no faith in their product to gaurantee a 3 year warranty seeing as how I am skeptical of their product. They send defective products and should gaurantee warranties.I am expecting GE to have faith in their product and guarantee free of charge a 3 year warranty. Assuming their product is of quality, I should not need the service, costing GE nothing. The warranty is to gaurantee me that I have their assurance of helpful service should I have the fridge fail, yet again. This is a brand new product and already stated with issues.]

Hello again  I will search for a copy but my Builder bought the first Dishwasher then GE Replaced that one with a different model which I do not have the receipt for but I think I got a copy from [redacted] at [redacted] Utah at some stage..let me get back to you on this after I have done some digging as it may be in Utah and not here in Australia in my files.thank you for responding much appreciated. regards [redacted]  I can always call you via Skype if need be
