since I originally purchased this range for 1200 and feel that to repurchase another one for 850. Which would bring it to 2000 for a range. To me this is a defect in the lining of the oven

GE has offered to assist him with service at no charge or a prorate discount into a new unit. Mr. [redacted] has accepted to have service and is scheduled with GE Factory Service for May 6, 2016.Please contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistance.

Thank you for the recent communication. GE has been in contact with Mr. [redacted]. Barring any unforseen issues, both the microwave and the trim kit should be delivered together within the next week or so. The trim kit had been on a slight backorder status, and as a gesture of goodwill, GE agreed to reimburse $59.45 for the purchase of a small microwave to use until the GE microwave and trim get delivered.

I am still waiting for the the business to perform the promised actions of: 1) notifiying me of the date of installation and 2) coming to my house and installing the new machine. Once that is done, I will consider this complaint resolved.

There isn't anything really to accept but in addition to GE's response I would like to add that when they left the messages we were at work and are in a different time zone. When I called back I had to leave a message as well. Also I would like to add that yes a different part was replaced but I feel GE should have address the issue when it happened the second time, not the fourth, maybe that was the part that should have been replaced not all the others. I made several complaints to the GE consumer relations department regarding the repetative issues. We have also lost time off work and several hundred dollars in food, because every time we've had this issue we have had to throw away "ALL" the items in our refrigerator. GE has a food loss department but never told us about it until this last repair. When I called the food loss department they said that they would only cover 10 years and our refrigerator is now 12 years old, but the first incident was well within the 10 years. I did eventually speak to GE and I voiced my complaints (again) and she said she would note them down. Hopefully this repair will be the end of the issues.

I rejected that offer, because in addition to the original cost of the two-year-old washing machine ($550), I had paid $120 in service fees. He made me another offer of $176. This is unfair, but seeing as the best price offered to me by Customer Service was $440, I knew I had to take the new price so that my family could have a washing machine. These folks have really been unrelenting in trying to make a buck off of the common man, and also uncommitted to customer satisfaction (for example: I started my customer service request seven months ago). The bottom line is that their machine was defective, they charged me $120 for repairs they never did, and then made an additional $176 off of me. What is fair and just is to refund me both those costs ($120+$176=$296).
