warranty. GE has offered to schedule service out for a technician to take a look
and Mr. [redacted]’s has declined service. Should he wish to schedule service he

call.

This this this is just another example of poor customer service. My cell phone has voice mail and I have no messages from GE whatsoever . Unfortunately this is just another example of unsatisfactory customer service by GE. I do not wish to hear it further from this company as it is clear that they don't choose to provide quality customer service. Should my service tomorrow be unsuccessful I'll be seeking further remediation from GE.[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appearWhile we were happy to hear that GE is willing to send us a new door, we were very dissatisfied that we are expected to pay the approximate $100 fee to have it installed.  I realize the dishwasher is out of warranty but surely they do not feel that the paint rusting off the door after only 4 years of normal use is acceptable or representative of the quality of their appliances, which we thought we were purchasing.  This is a decent size area of rust on the front of the appliance which looks awful  I'll be happy to post photos if necessary but I do not consider this case to be resolved  Regards,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.  However, this is the second time this brand new refrigerator has fixed.  The first time it was fixed, it worked fine for about 2-3 weeks.  Then the same exact symptoms reappeared.  [redacted], GE Representative, has been very conscientious about following up with me.  I'm assuming she will remain so for at least a month or so after this is resolved.  Thank you.

Full details were provided in email forwarded to the Revdex.com on November 15, 2015.  Text of that email are provided below.  Email attachments are enclosed herein.[redacted]On Friday November 13, I called
and left a message for you.  That message
was in regard to my conversation with [redacted] at GE who stated that
the GE Maintenance Group is now saying that the wiring in my oven may be
brittle and therefore, repair is not possible.This is the first time I had
heard this “brittle wiring” excuse.  It
is without basis as demonstrated by the three attached e-mail communication
between me and GE.  My position with
regard to each email is presented below:Attachment 1 includes:GE’s email which states that their senior technician would be at my home the following day, July 22, 2015.My reply which states that the senior technician was at my house on July 21st and after consulting with another senior retired technician, he would order parts and have them sent directly to my home.The senior technician and I agreed on Thursday July 30th between 8:00 and noon appointment to complete repairs.As
can be easily seen by the emails, at no time was there any mention of brittle
wires.In Attachment 2, GE states that they will follow up on repair status on July 31st.Again at no time did GE mention brittle wiring.Attachment 3 provides the GE email, which states in-part that GE technicians are not willing to do any further part installation.Please note that Attachment 3 also provides my response, which states that GE’s technicians may have left my oven in a hazardous condition and it is unclear whether this group has the ability to repair it.Again at no time did GE mention brittle wires.Attachment 4 provides the GE email, which states that there could have been an underlying issue that made it unsuitable for repair.My response clearly states that none of the four GE technicians mentioned an underlying issue. Again at no time did GE mention brittle wires.These four attachments clearly
indicate that the brittle wires issue
never was mentioned by GE before and strongly implies that it is without
merit.  I have many more emails between myself

Thank-you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situation. The consumer accepted an exchange of her gas slide in range for the same model.  Her current model is still not repaired and we agreed that an exchange was needed after 3 months of trying to repair with no resolution.

After I spoke with [redacted] this morning I subsequently received a call from someone in another department cancelling today's service call since two technicians were needed and only one was available.  I called [redacted] back to let him know and was advised that he would attempt to get a service call with two people scheduled for Tuesday and if not he would arrange for a replacement appliance through one of their providers to be delivered and installed by next Wednesday.  I was told I would receive a call back to inform me of which option we would be going with.  I did not receive a call back by end of business day.  This matter has still not been resolved and I still don't have a working appliance.

The refridgerator is still making the ticking noise along with a deep him to the fridge side which sounds like the condenser is going out. Too many problems for a brand new unit less than 1 year old.

GE agreed to fix the unit out of warranty nearly one year ago, and at that time someone in the Geospring unit acknowledged to me verbally that it was due to a known defective part of the heat pump unit leaking refrigerant.  The symptoms at this time are identical to the symptoms at that time.  Most recently, GE refuses to repair the unit since the repair apparently lasted nearly one year.  Assuming that this is the same problem, and there is reason to believe that it is as refrigerant leaks can be very slow, and likely has been gradually lowering the refrigerant level until the unit detected an error with the built in error detection.In my opinion, this is a continuation of the one problem.  The first repair did not resolve the problem.  Anyone who has had any experience with a refrigerant leak on their car knows that adding a can of refrigerant will appear to fix the problem, temporarily, until enough refrigerant leaks again.  Was the problem ever resolved, really?  Not until the leak is addressed does the problem resolve.  What is a reasonable expectation of a repair to last on a refrigerant system.  I would hope many more years than one.I would be satisfied with a response from the Geospring engineering team if they can determine and put in writing, in good conscience, that the problem I have described (recurrent filter light) is not likely due to a refrigerant leak that has been occurring since the last repair (knowing that the filter is clean).  Also, if the engineering team says that a reasonable expectation for leak repair is less than 1 year, I will accept that.
