This was not the desired outcome . Yes a repairman did come out and put new parts on the fridge . Only time will tell if the this repair works . This makes the 3rd time it has been worked on for the issue . None of the previous repairs have taken care of the issue . It usually takes approx. . 30-60 days before it freezes back over and the refrigerator section quits cooling .

Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer's response.
Since the unit is now fixed, we do not know if it will fail at some point in the future.
We review cases and situations quite fairly and will take all previous service history into account if this situation reoccurs. 
At that unknown point in the future, we will address it at that time.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved ,resolved as in the repair completed in a proper fix by sub contractor [redacted] Heating and Cooling ,[redacted] since GE is not a Technician it seems and can not give a" detailed summary of what they need to do to repair the unit" I can only hope that it is fixed right, if not we can start from square one again an go back to another energy source instead of electric. thank you[redacted]

I informed the representative that I needed the line installed and was informed that they would do the installation when the delivery took place or I would have never purchased the product. They never installed the line. The unit they call replacement was bought at an additional $1042 over the $742.00 unit origally purchased which was defective and I was only given $600 credit toward new unit. I am unable to access the refigerator part due to the company not informing me of the correct sizes for use with this unit. Yeah it fits in the spot fine but there is not enough clearance to open the doors to access the unit. We have very little access to the refrigerator and need a different refrigerator.
