Refund for cancelled event with no future date to register for.
I just received notice of the Bubble Run in Detroit on July 15 being cancelled. I paid for insurance, a venue fee, and a professional photo package and I now get nothing. They state they have no future dates planned for this event. Even if I found a race in another state, I should be refunded the insurance, venue, and photo fees since those will be charged if I find a race in another state. They just state no refunds. I don’t know how they can get away with taking money for insurance, venue, and photos when they cancel! I am not complaining about the registration fee just the other fees. I’m a race director myself and if I cancel a race, I refund everything!

Although the participants were offered assistance in transferring their registrations to new participants, a different event or a different city and originally agreed to the no refunds policy, we have issued refunds at this timeThey will see the credit to their account in the next 3-business days.Ryan

To whom it may concern,As is stated on our FAQ page, dates and locations are subject to change however we try our very best to keep the original date The Chicago date was rescheduled due to circumstances beyond our control All participant were provided the option to transfer their registration to a different participant or event that we hostWe are a no refunds event witch is agreed upon at the time of registrationConcerning the registration price and advertisement, our events do sell out and the prices go up as well We try to keep our registration costs low and affordable for families to joinAs they event gets closer to the scheduled date or the event selling out, the price increasesI can assure the participant there is no advertising nor are we a scamIf you need assistance in your transfer or would like us to check on the status, we would be happy to do so Please email us with an concerns at [redacted] .Ryan
