Please accept my apology for a late response to you.  I do appreciate the Bureau’s interest & intervention with this company.  They are a good example of “fraudulent marketing practices.”  I did receive a phone message from their customer service, to take 1 pair off of my order. The amount then would be $26.00  Still too high for something that is very inexpensive to make.My order is on “back order.”  I’m going to take the opportunity to cancel it.  Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Please note the company could avoid customer dissatisfaction over their online ordering experience by allowing customers the opportunity to review and confirm their orders prior to completing the order.  This site is the first that I've visited that requests credit card information upfront and then does not give the customer the opportunity to review and confirm his/her order.

I do accept Iron Gym sending a check for $16.98.  I need to add though that the vendor's repsonse is not entirely truthful.  They never told me they were sending me "the next size" when they sent a 36" bar and then when I called to let them know that they sent the wrong size, they reshipped the exact same thing again.  I am satisfied that they are refunding the money.  Is it possible to find out how soon I will see the refund.  (since my check was originally mailed 12/27 and they cashed it in January.)

I am rejecting this response because: the credit card company re-billed me on 8/4/15, $52.96. They said the company disputed my claim. So, in effect, this company lied again, because they re-billed me days before their response to you.
