This is case # [redacted], which two escalation emails are attached. From case notes it appears that Warehouse was reimburse the Member for recovery media. Contrary to Member’s claims, HP doesn’t cover software under their limited warranty (copy attached). Here is relevant statement from page 7 of...

Further claim of Member that recovery software can be downloaded from the internet is inaccurate also, recovery media is only available by ordering either DVD or flash drive media (depending on computer model) from HP.

I am rejecting this response because: The business is very aggressive and unprofessional in their behavior. As you can see they are not wanting to take responsibility for their actions. I am not accepting their response as an approval, because they have not attempted to fix their behavior which the public must be made aware of

I am rejecting this response because: I reject this response because it is a fraud. I received a shipping label from Costco on 27 july for returning the computer and printer. I returned them the same day to u.p.s. office in Hudson Oaks Texas. The next morning 28 July I received an email from Laura Lister stating that she had received notice of the return and that A REFUND WOULD BE ISSUED IN A COUPLE OF DAYS..Never had received any refund I emailed her again...each time she would say the refund had been issued and the bank should apply it to my credit card.(never happened).  I contacted her again, and this time she said the manufactor Hewlett Packard would issue the refund..Never happened) This kind of Clinto damage control went on and I stil as of this date...5 August 2017 have not received any return of funds...then I was advised that a check would be mailed for a portion of the regund and A credit card of 300.00 was issued to my credit card....has not happened as of this date. What was promised as a reund in a couple of days still has not occurred and I do not know or believe that a check is in the mail. These types of businesses cab zap funds from your bank in a matter of minutes when you purchase and do before ever filling an order...how is it that when they deceive return of goods, they cant refund in weeks...We the little guys of the world look to people like Revdex.com to go to bat for us as the business world uses your clout to augment sales. We are sorry to hear of the unfortunate incident involving Ms. [redacted] vehicle. We investigated this matter and the evidence provided was consistent with a wheel that had been loose for a very short period of time/miles.  The vehicle had traveled over 5,000 miles during the 4 months since our...

Mr. [redacted]'s complaint was dealt with in the manner that was explained to him during our first conversation. I visited the building and reviewed his concerns with management and discussed how to prevent this from happening again.

$699.99 on 1/29/15 at Warehouse #645 Raleigh, North Carolina. At such time the computer came with a 90 day return policy (shown on printed receipt) and a one year Dell manufacturer warranty. Costco extends the manufacturer warranty to two years for coverage until 1/29/2016. 
We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration Ms.[redacted] had gone through with this unit and the battery life. We have ordered a replacement battery for Ms.[redacted] at no charge and it is in transit with UPS for a delivery date of 12/22/2016 to Ms.[redacted]. We will follow up with Ms. [redacted] after delivery to ensure this resolves her issue."

You have been misinformed as to when the amount in question was reversed and put back into our account, it was just as I explained prior. Regardless, I have made my complaint in full. This further explanation on your part does not change that. I will take my business else where, when using my debit or credit card, in doing so I am confident there will be no tampering with my funds. Thank You.

We have contacted Ms. [redacted] and although we are not liable for this incident we resolved it to her satisfaction as a member courtesy.

Costco respectfully disagrees with Mr. [redacted]'s conclusion that he is an innocent good-faith purchaser, and with his interpretation of RCW 62A.2-403(1)(b).
Nonetheless, Mr. [redacted] is a valued Costco member.  As such, Costco offered, as a member service gesture, to provide him the $210 he paid for the $380.43 cash card so that he would not be out of pocket for his Craigslist purchase.  If he would like to accept Costco's offer, he may contact Kelly F[redacted], General Manager of Costco's North Division location in Spokane, at 509-466-9668 to arrange for pickup of a $210 cash card.

The issue with member [redacted] as been resolved. There was a price adjustment done for him today on item number #[redacted] for $80.02, put on a Costco cash card and mailed to his home. The member was happy with the end result and in the future will come to a manager on duty with any questions or...

understand how the error occurred. Still, I thought 'Sarah' from Costco.com would propose a resolution until she 'talked to her manager' and then refused to take any responsibility. She sent me to call the tire center, and they were happy to take the tires back and not resolve the situation. I did request 'Sarah' escalate and institute a follow-up, which has not happened. Not surprising that she would not give me her full name or employee #. Although I liked the regional manager and appreciated the call, I'm waiting to accept the response until we resolve this.
