Hello:I'm sorry, but when I read the first request Mr*** requested either a warranty replacement or refundI thought I had answered both options.We can certainly send another cover; however, the fit will be the same since this is fitting correctly nowWith the snug fit of a custom car cover, sometimes it is necessary to fold in one of the mirrors when tucking inside the pocketIf the front of the car cover is not installed, this should allow you to fit the mirror in the pocket and then fold the mirror outI tend to think that the car cover is snugger in the back because of the mirror not being fully inside the pocketI was unable to locate in our support tickets where our Customer Service rep had stated the cover does not fit.Since you requested a refund in your initial email, our suggestion was to allow a return; however, your credit would have to go back through the retailer since they have your money.? I can send out a free storage bag and a lock & cable if Mr. [redacted] wishes to keep the cover.
Or, if he still wishes to return the cover then I can either waive the 15% restock fee OR email a shipping label to bring the item back here but not both. It would be to Mr. [redacted]'s advantage for us to waive the restock fee since that is the greater cost.

Ordered custom seat covers for my vehicle, and received another vehicles seat covers. When I called to complain I was told they don't actually sell seat covers for my vehicle, even though it is listed on there website and on my emailed receipt of order. I had to pay shipping back, and was told of a restocking fee for seat covers they don't sell. There website looks good, but they shouldn't be calling them custom sear covers unless they actually fit the vehicle you ordered them for. Be warned trying to buy seat covers for a 2014 Nissan Rogue SL, with this company, they will send you the older model design without holes for the rear seat belts.

I see 2 credits made here as follows:
[redacted] Credit Memo for $138.12 for the custom seat covers minus a 15% restock fee. This refund was made today, 4/22/16 so it may take up to 4 business days to show back up on your card.
[redacted] Credit Memo for $6.71, the full amount since this is not a custom item.
At this point, we would not reimburse for the other 2 sets of seat cover that were cancelled and never sent. If I am missing something, please advise and I will be more than happy to investigate further. Thank you.

The last response for Coverking seems to be moving closer to an acknowledgement of what really happened. My advice for potential future clients is to always keep a "paper trail" (written trail) for their orders and be ready to use Revdex.com in case Coverking will try using again this kind of ruthless, predatory  technique.  For me personally, the total absence of ethics had a name and this was [redacted], an individual anyone should avoid.Having said all this, I  now consider my complaint as solved.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.There are two sets of the seat covers: one is the first row set and the other one is the second row set. The second row set is undamaged and thus the return has been accepted already. But now I am requesting the return and refund of the first row cover set. As shown in the order details, there are two parts of the whole order. One part has been returned already but I need the business to refund me the other part -- the first row seat covers. I contacted carId to try to request the return, but they refused. The carid responded to me as the following shown:

Thank you for getting back. Please be aware the 2d Row has already been delivered to the manufacturer. You will be refunded within the next 24-48 business hours. Once it is done, you will receive an e-mail confirmation letter.
As per the 1st Row, unfortunately, the manufacturer has denied the return.

The response from business does not address issue stated which is that the product, a car cover, does not fit the car.  The business stating that the car cover fit is not a solution. Previous discussion with the business, the business agreed that the car cover did not fit properly.  I do not understand why they would change their mind.Finally, although the product was not purchased directly with the business, the business is the manufacture of the product.  The warranty is provided by the manufacture and not the vendor in which I purchased the product.  I am asking for the business to honor its own warranty.

Hi [redacted]:It appears that both rows of seat covers were purchased through one of our retailers: [redacted] therefore, we could not issue a refund to this individual. He would need to pursue that through the retailer her purchased both sets from.I see that we did issue a full credit for the front row (that the customer was experiencing issues with) back to Car ID. When the rear row was returned, we issued a normal credit back to Car ID with our 15% restock fee. I hope this helps to resolve the issue. Thank you.

I am reporting CoverKing. They produce a HORRIBLE product, and have HORRIBLE customer service. I purchased some top-end seat covers from them- spent $500- which I thought was outrageous, but decided it would be a worthwhile investment as surely they would last for a few years, if not longer. Well I was wrong. Within two weeks of installing the covers, my dog (my 16-pound dog) had them completely torn up. They are made of super cheap foam that disintegrates if you look at it wrong, not neoprene like I was led to believe- that I thought would be resistant to sand and dirt and water, as I am an extremely active person. Then when I contacted the company I was told right away that they would review my file and get back to me. And that's the last I heard from them, despite my multiple attempts to make contact. One would be better off getting the $20 seat covers from Auto Zone!!!! DO NOT waste your time OR money!!!!!!
