Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:I have followed instructions that were provided and instructions that are listed on your website and all I get is error messages saying contact member support.   I can't do the replace account feature and I can't change my e-mail address in the security section.  No matter what I do on the website the answer is contact member support.   I should not have to divulge more personal information about myself in order to accomplish an e-mail address change.I have attached screen print of me trying to apply account replacement and the resulting error page.  Also attached is my security settings page telling me I have to contact member support to change my e-mail but that is not what your instructions say on the website. I have attached the e-mail change instructions from your website as well.Sincerely,[redacted]

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/11/25) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The response is directed To me as something is wrong with my system. The message that "it appears that the link to reset my password [redacted] expired". Still appears when I open that link in the password [redacted] link. I am opening immediately upon receipt. So no help! And they do not even suggest a number to reach them for help.

On your Credit Karma account, you will see the VantageScore 3.0 scoring model, provided individually by TransUnion and Equifax.
VantageScore 3.0 incorporates a broader set of credit-related data and can score up to 30 million more people than other models. With so many different scoring models out there, you never know which score a bank will use, but VantageScore 3.0 is a strong predictor for what the banks may see.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/11/12) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Unfortunately (or fortunately) mortgage /loan lenders only use Three Leading Credit Score Bureaus: Transunion, Equifax and Experian. What credit-score MODEL those Bureaus adhere to I don't care. All I want to know is my creditability (unless, my credit is in red zone, then I will be looking deeper). After all, it doesn't matter to me what model is used, - I have no influence to the outcome of used models, only to my own doing: paying in time, having long credit history, having some existing credit, etc. Your site provided me with Transunion score which was tremendously low comparing with your information given to me three weeks prior. The latest score from you wasn't even close to REAL Transunion credit score. Nothing on your web site explained WHY my score dropped that low. You only gave me some vague description about using different models.... and not a word about what affected MY Credit Score. As a result, I assumed identity theft and didn't have a choice but to get my TRUE scores from FreeCreditReport.com and paid them $39.95 which showed me I was in a good shape after all (I used three bureaus report to be 100% sure; the reason I ended up paying $$). I am insisting you inform your potential users in a future, that information you provide (second time) is NOT the REAL Transunion score, but something similar to Transunion MODEL.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/11/23) */

I'm sorry for the confusion. There is no "one true credit score". This is why I provided you with the previous response.
On our site, you will see your VantageScore 3.0 score provided by TransUnion and Equifax.
When you go and apply for a loan or a credit card or any kind of credit through a lender, you will likely not know what scoring model they are using. Even if you do know that they use VantageScore 3.0 or FICO, there are many different models. One could be an auto-loan model, one for a mortgage, etc. These models can take into account many other factors.
Separately, the score is not the only factor taken into account when you apply for credit. There are many other factors, such as your income, your income:debt ratio, your length of employment and many other factors could all contribute to a lending decision.
The information shown in the Credit Factors (https://www.creditkarma.com/myfinances/scores/) were developed by Credit Karma as a way to present the key components impacting your credit score in an easily understood format.
Please keep in mind that the factors as they are presented here ("Excellent" to " Very Poor") do not directly affect the credit score calculation you see on this page: https://www.creditkarma.com/myfinances/scores/ , as those scores are created using the VantageScore 3.0 model, and are provided by TransUnion and by Equifax.
The Credit Factors are only meant to help members see how they compare on average. The "Excellent" to "Very Poor" are determined by averaging the scores of Credit Karma members within each range. This doesn't mean that all members with a "Poor" or "Very Poor" in one particular category will have a low credit score, but that *on average* members within that range have a lower credit score.
Credit scores are based on many different factors and can change for unanticipated reasons.
We don't have specific insight into why your score dropped, so the best thing to do is to monitor your score and continue to make good financial moves to improve your score.
I'm sorry that your experience was not what you expected - please feel free to let me know if you have other questions.
Regards,
[redacted] P.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:   If you know the file is about me, then what information was provided to the [redacted] individual?  Maybe I need to be clearer. I know you have closed the account. The police cannot investigate unless they know there is a crime. Therefore is Credit Karma stating they know “[redacted] " provided them with enough information, using my personal data to open my account? If it is my information, what material/data about me was provided to this individual ([redacted]), credit report, social security number, etc.?Has Credit Karma investigated whom [redacted] is or where this person is located? Will Credit Karma contact the police knowing they released personal information that provided an unknown individual with my name, address, and other private data that could result in fraudulent activity?
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I...

am rejecting this response because:
This is not true. There is a problem with your website. Someone needs to call me. If it was a simple matter of clicking "State Taxes" I wouldn't be filing with the Revdex.com. I have been speaking to your company for 6 days. I work for a software company. I am computer savvy.
Maybe I was not clear enough - they need to be filed with the same company. This is ridiculous. I would be having an ongoing issue with your company and you wouldn't even look up the problem to see what it is. I have talked to multiple people, sent screen shots, asked for a call - all to no avil. As I requested from your other support staff, I would like to have my federal taxes backed out and be done with your company all together.
Again, my phone number is 508-[redacted] - not like you'll use it.
Sincerely,[redacted]

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/09/02) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The above link that they provided for me to reply to my complaint DOES NOT WORK. I fill out the form and the SUBMIT button does't work. That figures...becasue they are running me in circles and DO NOT WANT TO HELP ME, BECASUE WHAT THEY ADVERTISE IS FAKE AND NOT REAL. This is what I tried to write to them in response to the above link they provided you:I need a temporary password ** get into my account using the e-mail address: [redacted]@aol.com. every time I reset password, you guys tell me to clink on the link you provide, then it tells me, my FireFox is not the latest version. I have the latest version of Firefox; however, you are making me click on a reply link, FROM MY AOL BROWSER. Apparently my AOL Browser isn't using Firefox. What I need...and I've asked dozens of times, is for you to send me a temporary password, so that I can copy and paste and put it into my Firefox Browser, do I can get into my FREE CREDIT KARMA ACCOUNT. Which apparently doesn't exist? You guys said my "stuff" is linked to another email account: [redacted]@aol.com...which I DO NOT USE FOR PERSONAL BUSINESS AND OR INFORMATION. SO SEND ME A TEMPORAY PASSWORD [redacted] NOT A LINK TO GET INTO MY ACCOUNT WITH PASSWORD [redacted] IT DOESN'T WORK.
