Lady was rude to me at altamont Ave cricket store in Schenectady NY 12303. I would like a refund for the damages I incurred. For cricket failing to provide me the service I paid for. Prepaid or not, Cricket is cqncelli g plans if its unpaid during a time when most people are completely out of work. I liked Cricket, despite the issues I had for some time, but as soon as Im able, Im switching to Metro PCS. Same location nearby basically, but less issues during the pandemic. Dont get Cricket.

Oh, and BridgePay is a complete ripoff

I went into the cricket store in Gibsonton yesterday to find a phone and start a new plan. From the beginning the representative named Matt started helping me. He sold me on an iPhone 11 with 5 accessories that 'came with it.? The leasing plan he put me on was $100 every two weeks till the phone was paid off. As he was looking at his computer screen he said, about a year. I asked him, if it's $100 every two weeks and the phone is worth $800 then wouldn't it be paid off in 6 months? He then replied 'oh yeah, 6 months you're right.? He has me accept and sign on the key pad multiple times for things he did not elaborate on, he Even reaches over and selected approve for me during that process. Once I signed the lease, it went to my email and he brushed it off as if it wasn't anything to look at right then. When he was telling me about the interest with progressive he said 'it would be about $100 for the year.? I agreed to pay the $50 down payment towards lease, $25 activation fee and the $67 for the first month. I had asked about the $7 extra dollars for insurance and said I didn't need it and he told me he took it off. Even though, I was still charged. When I left and paid $144, with an additional $50 pending charge for the lease I opened up the email when I got home. He had told me before I left that I had 7 days to return everything and get a refund. When I looked at the email it was in the lease that I owed all this money on all the accessories, which he had said came with it. Along with that the payment for 12 months on my $100 bi weekly payment schedule would be around $1200 but he set me up on 27 payments which would be $2600 after interest! I called him and he tried to back track and explain, I had asked if I returned the accessories if it would get back down to the normal price. Matt told me I could return everything but the $90 liquid glass and the $50 screen protector which I would never have paid for if I knew these things. To sum this all up I came back a day after to return everythi

I proceeded to activate my cricket turbo hot spot unit online.rep said she was unable to do it online,not able to take credit card payment.
not able to take my credit card payment online,she sent me to a local cricket location.I had the hot spot activated-25.00- and all was fine. however I wanted to access online,in order to save the 25.00 feeits free online. I feel that cricket should refund me the 25.00 it wasn't my fault that their credit card system was inoperable. I spoke with a supervisor,he said they will credit 5.00 onto my accountstill short 20.00. we are in the midst of the coronavirus -trouble enough.. please let me know your thoughts..thanks

This correspondence is in response to a complaint filed by ***. In this complaint, Mr. states he attempted to place an online order for a new device. To avoid paying an activation fee, he attempted to do it online but was not able to complete the order. When contacting Cricket Care, he was advised to visit a Cricket location and was charged an activation fee. Mr. is requesting a credit for the activation fee.

We contacted Mr. on April 29, 2020 to discuss his request for a credit of his activation fee. We agreed to issue Mr. a one-time credit to his account since he was having issues with the online process.

I was trying to buy a iPhone 7. They gave me two different prices, first one was $300 oh, then they told me they made a mistake, $249. the phone was on the floor with a price tag of $199, they would not honor it. When I asked to speak to the manager, she said she was the manager, when I asked her name she would not give it. This was a store at 6666 West Peoria avenue in Glendale Arizona 85302. I call the customer service line to ask : How long to do cancel service if I din't pay bill on time? And the rep on the line said 90 days. Well that was a lie and now I lost my number and service.

Cricket Wireless well then you should fire that it rep of yours that told me it was 90 days. Now thanks to that foreigner I have no fkng service. You just lost a loyal customer of many years cuz of this it and you don't seem to care! Just as I figured no response. So keep hiring foreigners that don't know *** about your company that like to lie to customers and YOU GUYS do nothing about it to fix this.

I have been out of work due to covid-19 my bill is coming due I asked for an extension until the following week and all they said is they can down grade me to a lower plan but would not give an extension. I tried to explain that either my phone would be shut off no matter the plan I'm on and they refused to give me an extension during this time of hardships

I purchased a cell phone. Customer service was terrible. I should have left without purchasing anything so this is partially my fault. Clerk had pho as I a cardboard Xbox. I had to dig through them and try to match them up with a price. He installed a screen protector. Very poorly. It had bubbles and wasn't lined up. They will not offer refund for this. I have called and talked to store manager and custom at service manager. Only response I get is employee is on his way out, they don't offer refunds etc.

In this complaint, Mr. states due to COVID-19 he is forced to consolidate his services with Cricket Wireless, because of this he is requesting that his device for XXX-XXX-XXXX be unlocked. Mr. states he was led to believe that because he purchased the phone outright, he should be able to unlock his device.

I was mislead/misguided by a rep. at a MA store who could have easily reprogrammed my phone, but told me it was broken and I needed to buy a new one (with new accessories) .
2. Unacceptable Refund Policy
When buying a bundle - the phone is super cheap, and the accessories are at a higher premium. I tried to return the bundle 3 days later (and unused), but was told there are no refunds on accessories. So I was only going to get 25% of my money back (which I did not accept).
3. Horrible Customer Service
I reached out to CS online and over the phone a half dozen times asking for help. I received different information each time, with no resolve in sight.
4.'Ghost & Mirrors' Arbitration Service
I filed a notice of dispute, and was assured a rep would contact me within 30 days. I had not heard anything 2.5 months later, so I sent an email to an executive (no response), sent an email to a different executive (no response), sent an email to the President/CEO (no response but I did hear from a Senior Customer Appeals Manager shortly thereafter). In short, he told me he would send a shipping label so I could return the products and receive a full refund, I never received the label. After leaving many unreturned messages, I did receive a refund check, but only in the same amount that the store was willing to give me back months before . After spending over 3+ months trying to resolve and escalate, he emailed me with a link to their return policy, which states accessories are non-refundable. (smh) So what does a worthy appeal actually do for the customer? Nothing.

Desired Outcome

$62.17 remaining refund due I have all required documentation if needed (receipts, timeline, communication history, emails, etc.)

In addition the representative did not even include his/her last name or contact phone number on the response letter. Shady practice. The worst customer service and very greedy company. They act like they want to help you, but they dont and all they do is try and sell you plans. They dont care about customers.

I paid a total of 89 dollars to start service in March and by April 13, 2020 they had cancelled my phone service. Someone stole my number and ported it to a track phone. Cricket refused to honor my service and or give me a refund of the monies I paid. I did not cancel my service and did not set up a new phone. They said I would have to pay another 30 fee and 25 dollar activation fee, 15 dollars to get a new number and then they would restore my service. I explained that someone had been calling me and making threats about the phone number and gave them the number that called me. They said that woman was the one who cancelled my service and got a new phone with my number and because she did that I had to repay for everything and could not get a refund of the money already paid.

In January 2020 I found out a line had fraudulently been added to my account from their app. I had paid an extra $30 per month for someone I didn't know in Chicago for 6 months before I realized it. I contacted Cricket numerous times trying to get a credit back on my account, I was told numerous times by customer service and their supervisors that I would get a call back after they further investigate. I received a $30 credit so far the company still owes me $150 in credit. I made 3 more calls today and was told by a supervisor they weren't going to credit me back any more money. I want to file a complaint and will be suing them for unethical business practices and allowing my personal account to be fraudulently compromised.

This correspondence is in response to a complaint filed by ***. In this complaint, Ms. states there was a line added to her account without her authorization. She states she was charged for 6 months and is a requesting a refund for the unused portion of the line that was added.

We reviewed Ms. account and notice the line in dispute was added on August 14, 2019. The line was added while Ms. added her line. Both lines were ported that day with the correct information from the other carrier and activated on the same transaction. When the account was accessed, the account was verified with the security question, which gives the person authorization to make any changes to the account. We were also able to locate the receipt to the transaction in question and see that it was completed in a Cricket Authorized Store. The payment, was made in person, with a credit card for the activation of both lines.

We contacted Ms. via email on April 29, 2020 and advised her of our findings. We explained there was no fraud activity on her account and the line was added with the proper verification steps.

We would also like to advise Ms. of Cricket's Terms and Conditions of service, available online at www.cricketwireless.com/terms: Amounts paid for service charges are non-refundable and account balances are not transferable, refundable, or redeemable for cash. If your account is suspended or cancelled, for any reason, any remaining balance in your account will be forfeited.

THE INFORMATION I GAVE YOU WAS WHAT CRICKET CUSTOMER SVC GAVE ME WHEN I CALLED ABOUT THE EXTRA LINE I HAD PAID ON FOR 6 MONTHS WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE. THEY CHANGED THEIR STORY NUMEROUS TIMES. FIRST THE SVC REP SAID IT HAD BEEN ADDED ONLINE IN SEPT. THEN I WAS TOLD IT TOOK PLACE AT A RETAILER. THEN I WAS TOLD IT WAS ADDED WHEN I BOUGHT THE 2 PHONES. SO EITHER WAY IT WAS A CRICKET ERROR TO GIVE ME 3 NUMBERS FOR 2 PHONES. THAT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. AND WHY WOULD I BE GIVEN A WEIRD NUMBER WITH A CHICAGO AREA CODE. I TOLD THEM TO LOOK, THEY WOULD SEE THE EXTRA LINE WAS NEVER USED BY US IN DETROIT.THEY DIDN'T GET BACK TO ME.

Contacted Cricket about my phone screen being broke. Asurion mailed me out a cracked phone.
Used my insurance for a replacement device. Asurion mailed me out a device that was cracked on arrival. Cricket said they would handle it and send out another device. This was back in February and still no new phone, using a cracked device.

Desired Outcome

I need a new device that isn't defective. Paid $250 to Asurion and the phone was cracked on arrival. Or they can refund me my money and I can switch carriers.

We contacted Mr. on April 17, 2020. We were able to reach out to Asurion to confirm that if Mr. wanted another replacement, then he would need to start another claim.

Additionally, we advised Mr. that he could have the screen repaired for $29 in select locations on eligible devices, as a solution to avoid paying another deductible.

Mr. finally advised us that he resolved this issue and initiated a chargeback with his bank for the deductible paid to Asurion.

This correspondence is in response to a rebuttal filed by ***. In this complaint, Mr. states that he received a cracked replacement device from Asurion.

We previously explained to Mr. that we are unable to provide a replacement device since that would be received through filing an Asurion claim, and that he needs to file a complaint through the Revdex.com to Asurion as the respondent.
Additionally, we suggested to Mr. as an alternative he could utilize the option to have the screen repaired for $29 in select locations on eligible devices through Asurion, instead of paying a deductible.

Mr. informed us that he already initiated a chargeback with his bank for the deductible paid to Asurion.

We respectfully request that this complaint is closed at this time, as we are unable to further assist the customer.

I recently went down to the store to deactive a suspended line. I got a new number and sim card. it hasn't been a month and they suspended my number
had to go get a new sim card and number after my old number got suspended and they said they couldn't do anything at the store. but after I got it all settled with a new number they just suspended my service and it hasn't been a month since I got this number and I can't get a hold of customer service all it says on the cricket app is I have to pay an activation fee which I think is just them trying to get more money out of me

Desired Outcome

i would like them to restore my service without me having to pay more money when my PAID FOR MONTH OF SERVICE hasn't even ended yet

I recently purchased a 4 line service from cricket Mobile store in Theodore Al. after the lady activated 4 lines and I left the store . I soon discovered My personal phone was only receiving calls and messages from other cricket and Att wireless customers. No other carriers could reach me. I called customer service to correct this and they assured me that my phone would be working correctly by 7:40
that evening . No luck . I called them again and went through the steps of troubleshooting . No luck.
A case number was given and told to call tomorrow . after that call my sim PUK locked and I dont have a code. Today I have called for the third time as I am writing this complaint I am on hold again after waiting 40-45 minutes twice the carrier has hung up . I still have no phone and my business has suffered terribly because of this lack of communication needed in order to do sales . I paid 240 dollars to the store that day and this is ridiculous

This correspondence is in response to a complaint filed by ***. In this complaint, Ms., states that she visited a Cricket Wireless Authorized retail location and purchased 4 lines of service. She states the later that day she had problems with her device that wasn't resolved, and she now wants a refund for all lines.

We attempted to contact Ms. both by e-mail and phone. On May 6, 2020 we were advised that the number that we were calling was the wrong number. We also sent an e-mail on that day but never received a response. We wanted to gain a better understanding of her complaint, so that we could properly assist her.

Since Cricket did not have the phone my wife wanted in stock, we had to buy it online. When we did so, it showed 2 day shipping and we ordered the phone on February 25, 2020. 2 days later, there is no shipping label or explanation as to why the phone was not shipped. Multiple calls to Cricket did not answer any questions and no one could tell us when the phone would ship. By this time, a week had passed and we ordered the phone unlocked from Amazon with guaranteed 2 day shipping on March 3, 2020. After we told Cricket this, they somehow found the phone and said it would be shipped and it arrived the same day as the Amazon phone. Since we could not cancel the order as it had already shipped, this being almost 2 weeks after ordering the initial phone from Cricket, we refused to take possession of the package and refused it, thus sending it back. We were told we would get a refund if we refused delivery, which was done, and my wife even had to pay another 60 USD for service as they had initiated a refund, which in part was included in the cost of the phone. We were told the chargeback was initiated on the 19th of March and it has yet to be returned to my bank account as of April 15, 2020. We have patiently waited almost a calendar month when this should have been resolved within 7 to 10 business days at most.

This correspondence is in response to a complaint filed by Mr. ***. In his complaint, Mr. states that he placed an online order on February 25, 2020 for a device. The device arrived 2 weeks later. Mr. refused the shipment and returned it to Cricket Wireless. Mr. further stated as of April 15, 2020 he has not receive a refund for the device.

Upon reviewing the account, we found that a charge back was initiated by the customer March 13. 2020. The money was returned to the original method of payment. We contacted Mr. on April 17, 2020 via email and advised him of our findings and encouraged him to contact his financial intuition.

On or about March 27th 20 I purchased 4 phones and placed $200 in a Cricket account to pay for my service on the 4 phones the phones was subsequently stolen about 5 days into my service and I called cricket aynax Tim for a refund for service on three phones that I had already paid for I was told I couldn't get a refund so I immediately told them I wanted my $200 back and that I wasn't satisfied with the service I was getting on my 4th phone because it was running slow and the matter about the other three phones I was told based on their terms and conditions I cannot receive my $200 back nor a refund for my services I am not going to spend any money with Cricket so therefore I should get my money back at least what I have in the account I want to sever my ties with Cricket based on their uncaring ways doing this virus epidemic I was kicked out of my apartment for non-payment of rent when I had the rent money at Cricket choose to give me the hundred dollars that I needed to keep me in my apartment

This correspondence is in response to a complaint filed by ***. In this complaint, Mr. states that he purchased 4 phones and placed money on the Cricket Wireless account for service on the 4 phones. Mr. later contacted Cricket Customer Care requesting a refund due to one device being stolen, and service issues on the other lines. Mr. was told that due to Cricket's Terms and Conditions he cannot receive a refund. Mr. is requesting a refund for the credit balance on the account.

Cricket's Terms and Conditions of service are available online at www.cricketwireless.com/terms. Amounts paid for service charges are non-refundable and account balances are not transferable, refundable, or redeemable for cash. If your account is suspended or cancelled, for any reason, any remaining balance in your account will be forfeited. Terms and Conditions are accepted at the time of activation and each month upon renewal of service.

We provided this information to Mr. via email on April 27, 2020. We also agreed to make an exception and provide a refund for the credit balance on the account. Mr. can expect to receive a check at the address he provided within 10-15 business days.

I had service with Cricket for several years with two lines. I cancelled one line and left the second line on. The second line was for a friend. After about two months I had the second line shut of as well. I made a payment and cancelled the service about an hour later. Cricket refused to refund the money back, and told me they do not do refunds. To do a stop payment with my bank. I disputed this charge with my bank, they gave me the funds back, until the investigation was over, Cricket disputed this as well and the funds were taken out of my account. I basically paid for a month of service that I did not have and would like a refund back

Although we do not issue refunds for service, we made a onetime exception and issued a refund in the amount of $49 for the service payments made on February 26, 2020.

Thank you for refunding the payment. I appreciate it, I just didn't feel I should have to pay for a month of service we that I didn't have.

I attempted to port my phone number
then open the phone I purchased and it was broken. Therefore the plan I bought was never activated. I returned the phone no problem at all but when I called cricket, Fromm was told repeatedly there was nothing they could do! Of course there is something you can do, you can do. It was the next day. There is no way that the entire company has no way to refund people back their money for the service they did not provide after receiving faulty equipment.
