This issue has since been resolved We were able to approve the product to be field destroyed and the client was refunded for the defective product

A prepaid label was sent to the client for this return the only amount deducted from the refund was the $return feeOther then that no shipping was help against the clients refund

This order was placed by the client unassisted by any CARiD employee Based on the vehicle specs, this kit should work We are unable to accept this product back, but can work with them on a different lift kit should they desire

On 7/we contacted the Cx to advise that per manufacture the bumper will fit but will need minor adjustmentsPlease keep in mind that if you are buying an after market item, it may not be a perfect fit but with adjustments it can fitWe did confirm per the vehicle identification number, the bumper will fit his type of carIt appears the client doesn't want to make the adjustments or spend the cost to fit the bumperI apologize for the inconvenience, but there is no error made on this orderHow would he like to proceed and has the bumper been altered?

On 2/6/15, the customer agreed to wait on the back order itemIf she wants to cancel we can do so at her request and this was explained to herAs far the estimated ship dates, they are only estimates and therefore the website only has an estimate dateI apologize for the back order but she agreed to wait and ha snot called us since to state otherwisePlease have her call us if she wants to cancel the item or continue to wait

In this scenario since the reason the covers are coming back was due to the client being unhappy with the fitment the original shipping charges are non-refundable In addition to that the client is to be charged a return fee of $ As an exception to satisfy the complaint we are refunding the client's $Please understand we are not charging the client twice for shipping plus a return fee we are the client was only responsible for the original shipping plus the return fee

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: First and foremost, the time it took me to send the item back is irrelevantI never requested a refund I wanted to warranty the item for the same exact partNow if the business went back and reviewed notes from conversations with the representatives it will show or should be documented that the representative insisted we speak Spanish maybe that made him more comfortableI made the statement that I never requested a refundwhile having this conversation in SpanishThe representative stated the part was in stock with limited availabilityHowever, he said I would have to send the part back first even after asking if I could pay for one now and receive a refund once the company received the defective partHe said they could not do thatI did accept the $credit I understand you do not cover rental costTo find out that you could have done what I asked for from the representative the day before I sent the part back is very upsetting Regards, [redacted] ***

CARiD is more then willing to warranty any product of ours that falls under the specifications of the manufacturers warrantyIn this case the test provided by the client shows the wheel being ounces out of round which by industry standards is acceptable and nearly perfectThe client clearly wrote 25% out of round which is unfortunately incorrect, If a wheel was that out of round it would be there would be flat spots on the wheelof an ounceis not a lot of weight by anyone's standardThe balance machine being used in the test shows the tech where to place the weight in order to make the balance perfectThe Technician needs to simply proceed and make the adjustmentThe client has not been able to present documentation showing any of the wheels are defectiveThere are many moving parts to a vehicle that could cause vibration as well as the tiresUnfortunately with the evidence provided by the client there is no inclination that the wheels received are out of round in any way Due to this we cannot prove to the mfgthat there is a defect to the wheels
