the time nor did they tell me that they wouldn't be able to. A few days later they did email me again asking me when to call - not sure why they didn't just call when they said. I will accept their response when they actually attempt to reach me when they say they will.

We understand your frustration. Please note that we follow a protocol when the driver is unable to reach the customer. In this specific case, we were unable to leave the food with the doorman since we did not receive approval to leave it with that party. Further, protocol calls that the delivery person move on from the specific task upon confirmation that the customer is unavailable at the dropoff location. We hope you were able to enjoy the 10USD Credit issued to your account and will work towards a system where such occurrences do not replicate in the future.

The company confirmed via a phone call with their support team (Kyleigh) that a credit card refund would be issued. Instead,...
credits with the company were provided. I would recommend that in the future, the company be transparent about the method by which they intend to issue refunds - promising a credit card refund via phone and then switching to credits is not acceptable.

We offer free deliveries for orders from different restaurants at various times. After reviewing the customer's account, I can confirm they were fully refunded for their delivery and they also received an additional $13 worth of DoorDash credits as a courtesy towards their account after inquiring...
about the promotion they did not receive. We urge all customers to make sure they are using promotions properly to qualify for free deliveries. No additional compensation will be issued considering the customer was refunded the full amount for their order as well as issued $13 of DoorDash credits.
