Mr*** called to let us know that the company sent the same tech, who told him that they were not going to do anything because that is how its supposed to be Under the master's restroom vanity is still very hot I have been told by other contractors that the issue is lack of insulation since the back walls is an outside wall The tech sent by DR Horton told me that it was hot because the doors to the vanity were closed, that he had to keep them open He is very dissatisfied with resolution offered

Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below.At this point DR Horton has not agreed to resolve the issue that
they created by using faulty materials and poor contractors. They have
agreed to ONLY re-stucco and re-paint the rear of my home which only
eliminates 1/of the problem that they created and the remaining 3/of
the home is runny and it is clearly visible it was not completed
properly during construction. This is very different then my fellow
neighbors who had to file a construction defect lawsuit just to get DR
Horton to acknowledge that they made several mistakes during the home
construction and repair and repaint their homes. So far the repair
process has been HORRIBLY handled. I was originally told on 9-that
the repairs were to start on 9-and that they would take just a few
days to complete all the work. No contractors showed up on 9-and I
was told by the DR Horton rep *** that the contractors had made a
mistake and would be coming the next day. On 9-two workers showed
up, laid down tarp and started taking off the old stucco. The workers
left and left the tarp on my lawn which started to kill my grass
immediately and they also left behind a sharp knife that they were using
to cut off the stucco. I moved the tarp and called DR Horton to find
out when the workers would be back and done with the work as my grass
just continued to die underneath the tarp. *** assured me that they
would be back out to continue the work by 9am on 9-and that now he is
estimating that they will take one week to repair the stucco and he has
the re-painting scheduled in weeks, but I never heard back from ***
and no workers showed up again until 9-when they did no new work to
the back of my home, but left a ladder in the middle of my yard.
Tomorrow will be one week from when they started the work and by DR
Horton's rep ***'s estimate they should have been completed. This
repair is already going poorly and explains why this problem came about
in the first place. I just need DR Horton to complete the work and
still I am requesting that they agree to paint the entire exterior of my
home, properly, so that we can close this matter and I do not have to
deal with them again.I tried to attached photographs but they would not upload. I would be happy to email any photographs or more of my documentation if needed.

Robin told me to call her if I had not received my check by Friday Marchand since I have not received it I notified her at 2:PM after the mail has arrivedShe said she would check on it but it is 5:PM here and I have not heard back from herAgain I feel like this company has taken too long to refund my earnest money after the contract deadline and after I first contacted their agent to notify them that I wanted my money refundedThat was January 22, and it is now March 11, 2016.

Good Morning, Customer service superintendent went this morning to the above referenced address to assess the situation concerning the erosion at the next door neighbor’s house located at *** *** *** Work order (see attached) was released to Precision Landscaping and work was
completed on the fence line between and 1** ***(see attached photos)Both and *** *** have numerous large dogs that have made trails in both yards (see attached photos) that is preventing vegetation growth in both yards that is and will in the future cause erosion If there are any questions or concerns, please let me know Thanks, *** *** Customer Service Columbia, SC

I am rejecting this response because:Originally ** *** blamed *** / Frontier and now they are blaming ***. I have a year warranty and they need to stand by their year warrantyThere are neighbors who also have cracks in their driveway be aware that I am going to be contacting them and making them aware of how I ** *** is taking responsibility for shotty concrete work. I already contacted *** and they are sending an inspector to make a evaluation on this. I was also made aware the the electrical lines were put in way before I took ownership of the home.

I have spoken with both the HVAC company and the above homeowner to confirm that repairs have been completed on her system and that all is operational. I had the HVAC company run a full diagnostic on the system to just verify that all other components of the system are in good working order

As stated in our first response, in order to allow water to drain off the driveway, grading modifications must be made. Driveway and culvert modifications are not necessary to correct this issue. Also, in response to the customer’s cosmetic concerns with slope of the driveway, the driveway was already installed and the home was complete prior to the customer signing a contract on this property. Furthermore, the customer received multiple opportunities to inspect and identify any workmanship or cosmetic concerns prior to closing on the propertyThere was no documentation the customer had any issue with the driveway slope and culvert installation prior to closing and occupancy. After these inspections, the customer fully accepted the cosmetics and workmanship of the property before closing; as such will not be addressing the cosmetic concerns with the driveway slope or culvert installation

We appreciate the customer reaching out to us regarding their concernsIn coordinating with the division, we understand the most recent email communication (attached) detailing our investigation of water intrusion was sent on JanShould the customer have any further questions, they are
encouraged to reach out to the customer service manager

I am rejecting this response because: You are absolutely right, you did replace the section of the of the ceiling where the leak damaged the drywallI should not see patches of sheetrock in my ceiling where you made the repairsMy ceiling was suppose to be restored to its original conditionI've attached photos of the current condition of my ceiling and anyone with eyes can clearly see my complaintD R Horton made a mess of kitchen ceilingI don't have any issues with the drywall I have issues with the quality of work performed in my home Furthermore repairing he seams was not a courtesy that's the way you left them and all the work is covered under my warranty All this resulted from your negligent workmanship that caused the flood in my kitchen to begin with If you didn't see a problem with the ceiling why have you sent workers out here about five times to repair it *** *** the warrant supervisor came out here to inspect it and agreed himself that something needed to done about the ceiling and shouldn't have been left in that conditionHowever D R Horton once again has failed to meet their obligation.

After talking to *** ***, the building inspector for Harrison County, we have not done anything tomake the roof worse*** also claims he never said the entire roof and sheathing would have to bereplacedThere are still two places in the attic that need additional bracing, but Mr*** says he
willnot let us back in his houseWe are willing to do exactly what *** *** suggested and repair thedrywall damage the framers may have caused while working in his atticWe will also re-nail any shinglesMr*** is concerned aboutI have a meeting with him 2-17-Harrison County BuildingDepartment has also said that Mr*** the DRHorton construction manager and county inspectorcould meet at the Building department to clarify exactly what was said that needed to be done in orderto satisfy the county of the complaint.We do not agree with Mr*** request that we pay for any repairs done by a roofer of his choice.However, we are still attempting to work with Mr*** to resolve this matter

We have canceled the customer's sales contract per their request

Customer service is very important to us, and we appreciate the customer reaching out to us and making us aware of their concernsIn speaking with the division, we have confirmed that a customer service representative spoke with the customer this week regarding submitting their concerns via the
warranty claims online and has also followed up today and left a voice messageWe look forward to working with the customer to address their concerns

The sod replacement is expected to be scheduled within the next week

Our Warranty tech is working with the customer to resolve these issuesH/o agreed they need to level off square ft of the additional bark they added (grading issue), also they agreed to add gutter/down spout in this corner to better direct water which was the major issue hereWe have also
