I responded to a pop-up ad, which I have never done before for exactly this reason. I was concerned it might not be legit. The Dream Serum ad made claims that a trusted celebrity was invested in the company. There was also a trial offer in which the customer pays just $4.90 shipping. I selected 2 products and agreed to the $4.90+ 4.95 shipping for each. They offered expedited shipping for an additional $2.49 which I did not select but it ended up in the total anyway. Checkout was confusing because I tried to de-select “subscription” and “expedited shipping”, but it wouldn’t accept it. I didn’t bother about it because it wasn’t much money. Also while trying to read something the message quickly disappeared before I could finish. I thought it may have been something about a 30-day trial period. I figured if that was the case it would be in the confirmation email. However, I never received a confirmation. Soon after receiving the product (which arrived with ZERO paperwork) I wasn’t particularly impressed. I called to be sure I wasn’t on any sort of auto-ship program and was allowed to cancel the subscription. I received cancellation numbers for each product as well as cancellation emails. I then received my credit card statement with the original charges dated 6/27 and additional charges on 7/11 and 7/12 for $89.87 and $88.99. I tried calling the company again and couldn’t reach anyone. I immediately called my credit card company to dispute the charges. The company is disputing my dispute saying I had agreed to the terms and conditions. I was never able to fully read them before they disappeared and the transaction was finalized. I have never experienced anything like it before and now I cannot even find them or their terms and conditions on the link they provided in their response to my dispute. Their business practices are just not straightforward, but rather sneaky.

I am rejecting this response because:

The dispute has not been settled yet. The merchant has responded indicating that I had accepted the terms and conditions. I then responded back explaining how I had only been able to get a glimpse of them before they disappeared from the screen. I was unable to pull them back up. I thought they would be included in my order confirmation, but I never received one, nor any paperwork with the shipment.

I thought I may have read something about 30 days at the time I placed my order, but as I said previously, was unable to read it in its entirety. After a few weeks of use I called to make sure I hadn’t been placed on auto ship. The merchant claims they reviewed the terms and conditions at the time I called to cancel. However they did not review them. They offered a discount which I refused and they agreed to cancel. I did receive a cancellation confirmation email and there was no mention of any terms and conditions with that either.

9/24/18 USELESS PRODUCT. DON'T ORDER THE FREE SAMPLE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OR YOU WILL PAY OVER $180.
Dream Serum is a complete rip off. The product is 100% useless. I was lured to the order page by a fake story about Savanna Guthrie leaving the today show to work full time with her new skin care line. The article took me to a misleading free sample which is actually a free trial period followed by subscription. They never say the full price of the product or clearly state that you must notify them before the end of the 14 day trial period or they will charge you over $89 for both "free" samples AND enroll you in monthly shipments. Nothing on the packing slip or order confirmation email states anything about the trial period and the policy. I was unable to obtain a refund and had to pay over $180 for the products.

As of Oct 9, 2018, I have not received any refund stated in your response 9/24/18. 4-7 business days would have been October 3, 2018. I have checked with my bank and they did not receive any pending refund. I was charged $88 and $89 for the Dream Serum and the Eye cream. The products are are worthless and the customer service is even worse.

I saw on the Today show that the Host Savannah Guthrie had a "free sample" called Dream Serum. Cost to consumer was $4.95 + shipping. Now I have received my credit card statement and I see that I have been charged on August 13, 2018 in the amount of $89.87 and again on August 14,2018 in the amount of $88.99. I called 855-778-3026 several times and spoke with Candice, Erica, Darlesha and a 4th person. I was being transferred to a Supervisor 3 times. The first time I was on hold for 13 mins. and got disconnected. The second time I was on hold til I got disconnected, the Third time so far I've been on hold 13 mins and still holding for a Supervisor. I have since gone online and have read several articles and reviews that this is a SCAM. I am unable to get a refund for these 2 charges since I have not gotten through to a Supervisor. I am on a fixed income and should have not gotten into this mess but I did and I'm asking the Revdex.com for help with this "SCAM". 15 mins on hold and I'm going to run my battery down, which is what I believe they want to happen.

I purchased this product with the impression that I would only have to pay shipping and handling. According to the site, I would have 14 days to cancel before having to pay full price for the trial.
I received the item and it arrived in a small cardboard box with absolutely no company information so that I may call or review. I also got hit with a full price charge on my card that I did not authorize.
Incidentally, my bank called me about the charges (which I did not authorize) and flagged it as fraudulent. I also spoke to the Dream Serum company and they said there is nothing they could do and that my bank would be responsible for refunding me my money. I spoke to my bank and they said that Dream Serum refused to take responsibility for any refunds. I spoke to Dream Serum once again and they told me nothing could be done even if I did not authorize the purchase. Dream Serum also told my bank and me that since I had done business with them before (the payment of the shipping and handling) that they could not refund my money for the second charge (the full price charge THEY enacted over negligence). A Dream Serum representative I spoke to even said that my account was closed and they couldn't do anything about it WHILE I had my bank on the line with them discussing this issue. This is absolutely fraudulent and terrible business practice that Dream Serum is running. An absolute scam.

I am rejecting this response because:
The chargeback was initiated by the bank because it flagged the charge as fraud before I even knew exactly what charge they were talking about. They suggested I change my credit card to avoid further suspicious activity. I did not request this to be done but rather it was my bank that called to inform me about it. The chargeback was reversed meaning I did not get credited or refunded at all. Once I called Dream Serum to explain, they told me that my account was cancelled and they could not look me up to refund me which was a lie because they found my account the first time I called.

09-15-18 I had the same situation as *** I ordered their "free sample" if I paid $4.95 shipping. I received the product...But then they enrolled me in their 'repeat' ordering..WHICH I DID NOT AUTHORIZE. I CALLED THE COMPANY. 855-778-3026 And asked for a refund.I spoke with Beverly. I have been charged twice for a product that cost $88.95 and 89.00.. This I consider consumer fraud..There are many complaints on this company and I ALSO WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!

July 30, 2018, ordered Dream serum and calm serum for 4.95 shipping each the amount was debited from my bank on the 31st of July. Received product on August the 7th, they charged to my bank July 14th, 88.99 and on the 15th for 89,87. Tried to call the company on the number in the ad which was the wrong number 888-409-4430. At that point suspicious, Found the correct number the bank. The 1st customer service agent (Guadalupe) was very rude, saying trial begins at order date, if I had not received 4 days after the order I should have called, wrong number. Who starts the trial on the order date, you cannot try something you do not have. Talked with another agent (Jacquetta) she was even ruder than the 1st. The 3rd said she was a supervisor, was more professional, gave me 50% back. Very disappointed with bad business practices and not a bad product. Feel I should have received a full refund. Would not recommend this company. Rude, and disrespectful.

This company is using false advertising to take money from women, they said this was Kate Middleton's recommendation. They offer a trial sample of their product for shipping/handling ($12.34). You sign up for the trial and 14 days later, they charge you in full for the 2 trial products ($178.86). Nowhere on the confirmation email, website or in the packaging does it say you are paying for this product in 14 days. It took 10 days for delivery. Four days is not enough time to test a product.
You call their number somehow you get the same person every time. I waited 30 minutes to speak to a supervisor and she too held the business line...no refunds, period. I told her my computer was glitching when I ordered it and that I didn't even mean to order the calm eyes. I was told after I cancelled I would get a 50 dollar refund then the call disconnected. When I called back getting yet again the same person she stuck to the terms and conditions bull crap and said there was no need to review the prior phone call because they do not do refunds PERIOD. I am a single mother and this was money taken from my children!!!!
I looked up these products on their website, they are the two most expensive products they sell. Obviously, they know they are going to take $190. from each victim, each time another victim falls to their deceptive advertising.

BEWARE........ This is very misleading to the consumer.This product was advertised from GMA Lara Spencer, so I Thought. I signed up for a 14 day trial for dream serum face $4.95 eyes $4.90. Apparently after the 14 days I was supposed to cancel. Unknown to me they also charged me an additional $89.87 face and $22.29 eye serum for my 14 day trial.......I then received another shipment with the same charges. This is a monthly program???? When I called to cancel and return unwrapped products I was told I could not. After arguing with customer service for 35 min I was given a refund on latest charges and only partial on original. They told me it takes 30 to 60 days to see a change in your skin what good is a 14 day trial... This to me is nothing but a scam.......I never authorized them to enroll or charge me monthly.
Zero rating as far as I am concerned. Product is no better then my far less expensive creams...

signed up for free trial , contacted customer service immediately to cancel. I was told they would give me a free 30 day product and that canceled the 14 day free trial. I repeatedly asked to make sure there would be no charges other than shipping and was told yes each time , no charges other than shipping. day 14, I was charged $88.99. I called customer service back, she said whoever I spoke with before gave me incorrect information and would not refund me my money , because I had originally signed up for the 14 day trial that I thought the other customer service woman said would not be charged for.

I am rejecting this response because: I think the overdraft fee should be included with the full refund they've offered. I have received an email from the company that they're refunding the $88.99. I also want the extra $36.00. Th eir charge caused a chain reaction in my account exceeding the amount of the$124 I have requested.

My complaint is about Dream Serum. I heard about the product on the morning show of Whoopi Goldberg. Next I read it on A Magezine @ a Dr. office. An advisment offer free Sample with limited Qty left. With only a phone number “855-412-3133. I decided to ask for a free sample. The operator told me to go on line and put in all the pertinent info so they can ship me the product. I did accordingly to request only the sample cream, but it also push for another sample for eye cream. Since I only have to pay for postage, I order the additional eye cream as well. I forgot that my charge card was under my Home address. I accidentally wrote down my house zip code @ San Mateo. Due to my mistake, the product was delayed for at least a week. When my Credit Card statement for May/June 2018 came, it reflected 3 shipping charges on 05/31. It also has another charge of $89.87 on 06/14. I was busy & did not check my statement right away. When My June/July statement came, it showed $88.99 was charged on 06/15! Further down, it reflected a charge of $4.95 on 06/30. The last two product never showed up up til now! I contacted *** to tell them a possibility of fraud. According to Dream Serum, they said that if they do not hear back from the customer after 2 wk. the products will be on a monthly shipping schedule. That was never mentioned any where when I ordered my sample. Now according to ***, I have to paid $89.87 & $88.99
For products that they said were shipped, even I have never received! Their method in business management seem fishy to me! I don’t want to paid for products that never showed. I’m disappointment with *** Bank. I hope you could help me to clear up this scam. I read that you have at least 74 cases of complaints against this company. I ‘m glad It is not just me!

Could you please call our customer service number so we can get some information from you so we can process your refund ?

As with others, I ordered a "Trial" sample of Calm Serum and Calm Eyes for my wife, paying the $4.90 shipping fee on August 10th. I thought I exercised due diligence in assuring this was a free trial/sample. Obviously not, as was told today that the "conditions are stated in the fine print on the second web page", and I should have cancelled within 14 days. Therefore, the company representative would not refund charges against my debit card for the trial and second shipment received yesterday. These charges were: $89.87 on Aug. 24 and $88.99 on Aug. 27 for the initial "trial"; and $89.95 Sept. 11 and $88.98 Sept. 12th. A total of $357.79.

I consider this a sneaky SCAM for not stating boldly the Conditions in the advertisement. From the numerous complaints, this is obviously by intent. I am 80 plus years old on a limited income, just trying to do something nice for my wife. Had I have known the products costs, I would not have even ordered the sample. $357.79 is a big hit on my monthly finances, and I wish to get my money back.

While the company refunded 89.95 for the Seot, 11th charge to my debit card, the did not address the other 3 unauthorized charges addressed in my complaint. Those being $89.87 on August 24th; $88.29 on August 27th and $88.98 on Sept. 12th. I want to receive refunds for ALL the unauthorized charges made by Dream Serum, not one out of four. Thank you.

The response is correct as far as it goes...... Once again, Dream Serum has only refunded one unauthorized charge. This makes a total of two refunds; but leaves two not refunded. Those being $89.87 Aug. 24th and 88.99 Aug. 27th.

My expectation is to receive a full refund of ALL unauthorized charges to my bank account.

Email and phone from dream serum said they were refunding. 4 to 7 days for bank processing. That time has passed. Bank says no pending credits. Previous refunds were completed by bank in three days. Appears to be another stall tatic.

Tired of Dream Serum excuses. *** processing reversal of remaining unauthorized charges.

I ordered a sample from this company. nothing more. They said to just pay the shipping. which I did. it was suppose to be 4.90, plus 4.95 but they added another 2.49 charge. Then unbeknownst to me I have all these charges on my checking account with no explantation etc. They total to $353.74. I am a senior. I am on SS. I can't have my SS check eaten up by these charges. I have wrote to them but have not heard back;.

I ordered their "free sample" if I paid $4.95 shipping. I received the product...But then they enrolled me in their 'repeat' ordering..WHICH I DID NOT AUTHORIZE. I CALLED THE COMPANY. 855-778-3026 And asked for a refund since I had not received any product. I was placed on hold for over 30 minutes by Yasmin. When I asked for a supervisor, I was told there was none.
Since I had not received the product I asked her to have UPS re-route the package back to the company, so I would not have handled it, according to their standards. She said she could not do that. I explained you just go into UPS, and re-route.
They refused to refund my money stating I had to cancel within 14 days..I NEVER saw any indication of this ... I have been charged twice for a product that cost $88.95 and 89.00.. This I consider consumer fraud..There are many complaints on this company and I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!

Our records show that a chargeback was placed on your account on (10/06/2018) and it was placed on the amount of your purchase order. By a chargeback being placed on your account you must contact your bank because they are now in control of your account.

We are sorry for the problem that you are having but as we previously stated by a chargeback being placed on your account we now do not have any control of your account. You would have to contact your bank to get this matter resolved.

I ordered the trials of Dream Serum calm serum and eye serum. When I received the product, there was no charges on the packing slip nor was their an invoice stating that the customer would be responsible for the full price of these items if not cancelled within 14 days of the order. Therefore the customer had less than 10 days to try this product and cancel accordingly. 10 days is not long enough to notice a difference with any cream product. I tried to return the 2nd shipment but they stated they do not accept returns nor provide refunds. This cream is nothing special and does not warrant these high charges. Their advertising is misleading to any customer and I feel that we have been scammed for close to $360. I've tried multiple times to discuss this with both customer service and manager to no avail. Their website needs to be shut down.

Do not do business with these people. I was scammed out of $360 plus shipping for what I thought would be one "free" facial cream tube. When you pay for shipping is when they 'get ya' because they have your credit card number and begin the monthly shipments at $89 each until you cancel. I didn't see anything in the advertisement about that little fact. Oh and they lure you in with what looks like a real news story about a network anchor who is suddenly quitting her job to work for this company! It's all fake. Shameful actually.

You can take your terms and conditions and throw it in the trash! Who gets results in 14 days, much less reads the terms and conditions in fine print. I agreed to pay the shipping for the trial Dream Serum and Eye Cream, both of which does not work, but no mention of the cost of both products when signing up so yes, within 14 days you get another shipment and find out what the charges are then. Very poor business practices and deceitful. I did call and had to argue and asked to speak with the supervisor, but the agent said she would speak with her and they did finally give me a partial credit, but I find on my credit card statement that they had charged me another time and I never received the products. Yes, once they have your credit card number, they can charge away so beware of this company.

I ordered online what was advertised as a FREE sample from this company and paid shipping. It was claimed the product was developed and promoted by Kathy Gifford. The website even advertised a limited number of free samples available. Over a month after ordering my free sample (which was received promptly) I was reversed charged for the full price of the product (~$160) and was informed it actually wasn't a free sample, it was a free 14-day trial. I explained that the website repetitively said: "FREE SAMPLE" and nothing about a subscription, etc. However, they were unwilling to refund my money and instead offered me a discount on future orders. False advertising. Embarrassed that I fell for such a scheme.
