I saw an advertisement for Dream Serum and agreed to pay the shipping and handling price for the two product orders. On the ordering website, there was no mention of terms and conditions and there was not a link available anywhere on the ordering site to review anything. I received the products about a week later and with the assumption that it was a one time purchase as the ordering website claimed, I kept the product.
Less than two weeks later I found two charges on my credit card bill for amounts around $90. I was unable to locate any customer service information as there was a lack of order confirmations and shipping confirmations of the product. Less than another two weeks later, there were another two charges of the same amounts. I was able to finally locate the customer service number on the description in my credit card statement and I contacted Dream serum on July 14, 2018. All of the representatives that I spoke with were rude and refused to help me. I requested to return all the products that they claimed that I had at my expense, and all the representatives that I spoke with declined my request. After an argument over my refunds of the unauthorized charges, they hung up on me. I contacted my bank and all charges have been disputed. The customer service and tactics of this company is criminal and they should be shut down.

This company has done nothing to resolve the issue which was presented. I offered multiple times to return their unwanted products at my expense and they have refused. I want a full refund on all the charges on my account or I will take this further to the AG office and every news outlet who will listen.

I ordered my initial trial of Calm Serum and Calm Eyes on July 1, 2018 based on an article that Lara Spencer was quitting GMA News to concentrate on her beauty skincare business. Dream Serum products were endorsed by famous celebrities such as, Oprah, Rees Witherspoon, and Ellen Degeneres. I expected a sample size of the products to arrive in the mail. Initially, I was informed via email that the trial products were ordered and when they were being shipped. I was not notified via email or other means when the trial ended, I was not notified that the "subscription started"and I was not notified of the full prices of the Calm Serum and Calm Eyes (totaling $178.86 X 2). Further I was not notified by email or other means of the upcoming shipment of the products. When I received the Calm Serum and reviewed my credit card charges ($178.86 +$4.95 for shipping X 2) I did know I was now on a "monthly subscription." I called to cancel my "subscription" and to obtain a refund. When I explained the lack of clarity to the customer service representative and the supervisor, I received the similar scripted responses about the 2 week trial and cancellation notices. They stated that they sent emails from Calm Eyes and Calm Serum notifying me of my upcoming shipments, but I did not receive those emails. I continued to request a refund and the supervisor would not refund any amount to me! So now I am out $367.62 because of this dishonest and sketchy business. Please help me.

I am rejecting this response because:Dream Serum folks continue to claim they have refunded me but my records indicate they have refunded nothing. Please intervene.

On July 31st I responded to advertising for "free samples." The S&H charges of $4.95 (2) were applied to my credit card. I received the two very small containers (no content weight on label). I called the company to report my allergic reaction to the product. I was told "it was noted." On August 14th another charge of $178.86 was charged to my credit card. No notice of why, no product. On September 1st another charge of $178.86 was placed on my credit card. No reason, no product. I called the company and was told these charges were their "policy." No further explanation. I did not at any time agree to a "subscription." I have also reported this to my credit card company.

I strongly believe that this promotional strategy is a form of false-advertising. This is an outrageous charge that I did not agree to.

This is a SCAM of the tallest order as well as a ripoff. Who would pay $ 89.97 for 1oz of cream?
I initially thought I was getting a sample for $9.95 including shipping. Also the site is built in such a way that you have to add the eye cream to get to the end of your purchase.
I did receive the products which I did not like and forgot about it.
A month later as I am looking at my credit card statement I see that I was charged $89.87 and $88.99 2 weeks after ordering my "free sample" and again 2 weeks later for the next batch!!!
Never an email notification as in all normal transactions.
When I called them I was assailed by the comment that they have an "ironclad" terms and agreement . Incredibly sneaky and deceptive.
The shipment was on its way and cannot be returned therefore not refundable.
$370.00 later... and I am calling my credit card company even though they tried to dissuade me to do so.

Similar to other individuals that have submitted complaints, I ordered my initial trial of Calm Serum and Calm Eyes on June 12, 2018 based on an article about Amy Robach on her beauty skincare business that was tied to an advertisement about the Dream Serum products being endorsed by famous celebrities such as, Barbara Walters, Rosie O'Donell, and Ellen Degeneres. Like others, I also expected a sample size of the products to arrive in the mail. Initially, I was informed via email that the trial products were ordered and when they were being shipped. I was not notified via email or other means when the trial ended, I was not notified that the "subscription started"and I was not notified of the full prices of the Calm Serum and Calm Eyes (totaling $178.86). Further I was not notified by email or other means of the upcoming shipment of the products. When I received the Calm Serum and reviewed my credit card charges ($178.86 +$4.95 for shipping) I did know I was now on a "monthly subscription." I called to cancel my "subscription" and obtain a refund. As of today, I owe this money to my credit card and I am very upset both at myself and at companies like Dream Serum who are making a lot of money from fraud. Please help.

I saw an ad for Dream Serum - Savannah Guthrie of the TODAY show was quitting to give time to her new business (dream serum). The offer was for a free trial - just pay shipping and handling. I began the online order but did not finish because I found the exact same article with Savannah Guthrie's name switched out for Kathie Lee Gifford. I have also heard about it with another celebrity name on it. I did not submit the order because I could tell it was a scam. There must have been just enough information on my form because the order was placed without me even submitting it. I received an email saying it was on the way. I immediately responded to the email and asked them to cancel the order. The cream still arrived.

Today I received another installment of the product. I called to complain. They do not allow returns. I finally got them down to a 75% discount, but we are disputing that as well. We were billed $90 on 8/14 and 8/31. I received ONE product on 9/5 with no email notifications that it was coming. We are currently stopping payment. I was told it would be turned over to collections and I would have to pay it all. Not sure how false advertising would allow them to do that.

Did not want to even give one star.Such a ripoff , only pay shipping and handling for 9.95 and suddenly you get charged 89.87 and I did not want the eye cream but you couldn't place your order without it so that was another 88.99. Then 2 weeks later I get another delivery , I call to return the product and am told they do not accept returns, so got charged again, cancelled the delivery but was told the 2nd shipment was already on its way and would have to pay for it. Who in there right mind needs face cream every 2 weeks. Called today when I got my bill and was given a 50% discount on the second shipment. DO NOT ORDER THIS , IT IS A SCAM!!

A cautionary tale of a Zero Star product/company. I became aware of Dream Serum when I watched Amy Robach from Good morning America. I felt I could trust her because of her status with the show. I was so wrong! Not only does this company hide all the bad news (automatic shipments and charges) in very small fine print (Terms and Conditions) but they refuse to acknowledge or stand behind their deceitful and deceptive products.
I ordered the face and eye cream on 6/19, hoping to find a good product that would work for me. I immediately realized I was charged higher than what was advertised. I called and spoke to a young man in the customer service department who gave me a scripted response that they do not give refunds. I explained I was overcharged but they did not seem to care.
Before I could even resolve the first issue I began receiving more product; none of which I ordered! I called over and over and asked to speak to a manager, at which point they started putting me on hold and never returned. Over the course of several weeks I continued to make phone calls and send emails, which went unanswered. Still they sent more product, and of course charged my credit card.
I had tried the first 2 items and found them unworthy of the costs but never opened the other products. I sent all of the products back and yet they still refuse to respond to calls or emails or refund the charges. In total I have spent over $375 (that they still refuse to refund) for an inferior product, from a company which won’t stand behind their product, and provides some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. You should heed this tale and stay as far away from them as you can.

10/21 I spoke to 3 representatives at Dream Serum regarding resolving my complaint
And not returning the $375.00 they took from my account
The reps stated I was reimbursed they spoke to management and said they
Credited back $89.87 on 10/3. I verified with rep- Sky
To assure they still have correct account number to credit
It back and they do.
I assure they have never credited me back
1 penny of what they took out.
This goes to show you Dream Serum is a frase business
Who cheats consumers.
By the way - they’ve changed their name

The dream serum product advertises a free trial ($4.95) and then charges your account and refuses to give money back but insteads offers you more products for a reduced price. This is a rip off - my account ended up being charged $375.01. I know this is happening to other customers due to I see it on the website. If this is how they want to obtain their money - it is a scam.

At the end of July, I ordered 2 FREE products based on an advertising campaign that Savanna Guthrie was leaving the Today Show. I agreed and was notified that I would have to pay shipping fees ONLY, NOTHING ELSE, NO OBLIGATION. I received the two little bottles which are on my bathroom counter unopened to date. Today I was in my bank account to pay my mortgage and I saw two holds, one for 89.97 and one for 88.99. I searched back through my account and found the same charges on August 14 and 15th. I immediately called my bank and they suggested I call the company first to get my money back. I received the same song n dance as everyone else has reported on here. I did not receive notice of any shipments, that my bank account was going to be charged, nothing. I havent received any additional product. I want my 357.92 refunded to me. My next step is contacting the Attorney General, then Savanna Guthrie, and I will blast this ALL over social media about how this company is scamming people.

I was refunded for the two charges on Aug 31. I was not refunded for the charges on Aug 14 and Aug 15, which I am seeking as well. I called in last week to get website address so I could read terms n conditions for the company, but the website is invalid. How can you charge me for something and not have a policy printed where I can read what u say I agreed to. You still owe me 2 refunds which I mentioned above.

I have asked to see the company's policies. I was told to look on their website. I have tried multiple times to find the website but no luck. Terms and conditions should be posted at all times for a customer to refer back to at any given time. Secondly, your company advertised that Savanna Guthrie was leaving the Today show so she could focus on her new product line, Dream Serum. That Was A TOTAL LIE, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT , DECEIT. I reached Out To Savanna and She Said Under nO Circumstances Does She Have ANY Affiliation With DREAM Serum. Now, If I Ha E To Take This To The ATTORNEY GENERAL IN NC I Will. I Want The ReSt Of My Money Back.

I responded to an online ad for Dream Serum products for 4.90 and 4.95 as a free sample, plus 2.49 shipping. There was nothing in the ad to indicate a trial that had to be returned in 14 days or full price would be charged. This is false advertising. Now my credit card shows charges of 89.87 and 88.99 as full price for these products which were supposed to be free samples. I did not approve these charges, and when I called the company today a rep told me it was clearly stated in the ad. Then they quickly retreated to refunding me 30%, which I refused. Then "after speaking to a supervisor" they offered a 50% refund today. I accepted but said I would be filing a complaint and wanted a full refund. I have received emails from the company saying my account was deleted and I would receive no more charges in future. This company is untrustworthy and no one should allow them to have access to their credit card information, and their ads should not be allowed online as they are deceptive. I would like a full refund. I am filing a complaint with my credit card company.

I am rejecting this response because: After I filed this complaint, I learned from my credit card that the company had sent another two items at the same cost two weeks after the initial order. A rep called me from the company 9/8 and left a message. I tried to return the call but had to hang up after holding for over half an hour. Thus I would like to have the additional amounts refunded to me. I received two new boxes of the product in the mail and will be glad to return them once this complaint is settled.

My credit card found in my favor that the charges should be refunded. This discussion is about two separate charges for two products each time. The first instance has been fully refunded, but not the different order the company charged me for two weeks later. I am rejecting this response because: Dream Serum is the company which placed an illegal, unsolicited charge on my credit card account for a second order of their skin cream on August 26, 2018. This forced me to cancel that credit card and have a new one issued. My complaint is to have them refund this charge and I will return the unopened two boxes of product sent me. My bank has no access to this account so their refusal makes no sense as they know they received the funds from my credit card, and the credit card says they have no way to demand the funds be returned for credit once they have been sent to Dream Serum. It is up to Dream Serum to credit my card with the $180+ . I will be glad to speak with their customer service to discuss this.

I did a review of this company on 8/19/18, when in fact I thought I was filing a complaint. I, like so many others, bought the "trial offer" only to find that I had signed up for recurring shipments. Unlike other trial offers that clearly show the terms and conditions and make you check a box confirming you have read them, Dream Serum does no such thing. In addition, Dream Serum sneakily added another product to my trial offer. Ultimately I was charged $9.85 for the trial products, then $88.99 and $89.87 twice each. On 8/21, Dream Serum replied to my review that they have refunded the charges, but to date I have only received refunds of $88.99 and $89.87. When I submitted a comment to my original review that I still hadn't got all of the refunds, Dream Serum replied that they were going to look into the history of my account. Per Dream Serum on 8/23/18: Please be patient with us as we investigate your account. We will get this situation handled for you. We appreciate you following up with us. Dream Serum I am still due the refunds of $88.99 and $89.87 that Dream Serum said they had done.

Our policy is no more than 7 days and as per policy we can only refund you for your most recent purchases within that cycle, which states that if you do not want the product contact us within that time frame and you did not do so. Ordered a trial supply of dream serum for $4.95 shipping cost. Never informed that I was entering an automatic billing or shipment plan. never saw that on the order form yet when I called customer service there they said it was right on the order form. NOT TRUE. Called to cancel and get a refund and all they would give me back is $67.40 of the $89.87 of this scam billing and ordering thing. You should contact the US attorney general and shut this company down.

After reading similar complains on this product I will always check reviews before I place an online order. I ordered dream serum and was charged shipping and handling. I cancelled future orders as the serum made the skin around my eyes irritated...only to find out they had already charged my account for the so called...free order...shipping only. Plus they charged me a fee of 2.49 for reward offers which I never ordered. I called them three times w wait times of 45 min. To never calling back. Today I finally had a free day and waited over an hour to fine out they would not refund or give percent off or any relief. I asked them about free purchase and they said be up I didn't cancel w in14 days I had to now pay the full price. The free shipping free merchandise was null and void. A scam for sure. Reading others order complains my is the same thing. No where on my receipt did they explain rewards they charged me for ...or explaining14 days only or you.ll be charged full price. I am 63 and never have filed a complaint. The customer service people were no help just oh well type of thing. Scam for sure

I decided to order the sample for my wife based on this company’s advertising where they offered a trial sample of their product for shipping/handling ($12.34). In the advertisement was some statement that an ABC Good Morning person was promoting this product.
After the sample arrived, my wife was not interested in trying this product. Not a big deal for me to pay the shipping and handling charges for the trial products and forget my error in ordering any type of products like this in the future
Within a week after the 14 day trial,charges were placed on my credit card for $89.87 on the 14 of July and $88.99 on the 15th of July for a total o $178.86., I received one package which included their 855 number. I called the customer service for Dream Serum. explained that I had ordered just the trial offer for my wife and did not authorized or want any additional products
from this company. The Customer Service person informed me that the product was mine and they would not accept it back because they have a no return policy, Plus they had the right to ship additional products because of some statement on their web site. I explained that there were no explicated statement or contract of purchase requiring my authorizing any charges be placed on my credit card which would require me to approve, I also informed the person on the phone that none of the products had been opened and were in the original boxes and if they refused to take back the shipments and remove the credit card charges, I would be seeking relief through other means including the credit card company. When I asked to speak to a manager the phone was disconnected.
The next week my wife received an email stating they were not sending any additional shipments. There was no acknowledgment of my phone conversation regarding reversing the unauthorized charges nor returning the product. I am not sure why this company took this marketing and sales approach and the subsequent hard line.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and I accept it. After talking and reviewing the situation with their Customer Service department, they agreed to credit back the two charges.

From a marketing view and sales approach their concept in making sure the customer understands their go forward relationship is questionable and needs to be changed. After reaching the appropriate representative I found that person to be

highly qualified and representative of how to resolve an issue. Hopefully their management will review the number of complaints and make the appropriate changes.

I ordered the" Free" 30 day Supply for Calm Serum and Calm Eyes, and as stated all I had to pay was shipping of a total of $9.85. Having worked in a Customer Service Environment for years I was certainly under the understanding that after 30 days I would receive an email asking if I was Satisfied with the product and willing to order another supply....
When I received my Billing Credit Card Statement today, low and behold there was a charge for not only the Shipping Charges of $9.85, but an additional charge of $89.87 and $88.99, which was charged 14 days after my initial Free Trial offer.
I called the number 855-778-3026 and they ware willing to refund 50% of the charges. This is a total ripoff. Calling my Credit Card Company in the morning also.

On 8/10/18, I purchased a sample of Dream Serum Calm Serum offered for $4.95. It arrived in a small cardboard container with no information about the purchase on 8/15. At 6am on 8/23, I noticed my bank account had been charged $89.87 by Dream Serum. Later that morning, I looked for a website and then called Dream Serum customer service at 855-778-3026. After a long time on the line, a representative named Tamika answered. She said that I had actually purchased a one year plan at $89.87 per month. When I said that there was no mention of this on the online purchase order, she said that I had been offered the opportunity to read the terms and conditions and that the company had won all disputes about their order form. I said that I
would like this one year plan I was unaware of to be cancelled. After some time, I got her to agree to cancel the plan.
However, I could not get her to remove the $89.87 charge.

I agreed to try this product for 4.95 shipping only. Before I checked out, they had automatically added another calm eyes product for 4.90 shipping only even though I did not request to add that. The initial shipments never arrived apparently as I received the product about 4 weeks later and noticed they were already auto billing me at 89.00 a crack for each one. When I called to cancel and return it, they would not accept a return and said they would refund me 75% since I didn't cancel in time. I told them I never received the trial products so I thought these were the samples. When I was talking to them, they informed me they had already shipped more product the I had not received yet. Every 2 weeks they were shipping that stuff out and billing my account. I ended up filing a claim with my credit card company. They are totally ridiculous to deal with and very close to a scam. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

I am rejecting this response because: I was told there were another 2 packages in the mail and that is why I had 4 charges on my credit card. The product that was "in the mail" never arrived so I called Dream Serum today and they said they were delivered. This would be the second time they shipped product that never arrived to my address as I never received their trials that I agreed to for the cost of shipping only. That is also why I didn't get it cancelled before they shipped more because it never arrived. As soon as I get credit for the Aug. 5th and 6th charges to my credit card, then I will accept the businesses resolution.

This is in response to the message below.

Dream Serum keeps referring to 1 transaction that they have credited but there were actually 4 transactions that I'm requesting credit for. When my first package arrived, I thought it was the trial that I had agreed to since I had never received it. I called them immediately only to find out it was actually the first automatic shipment and I had already been billed the entire $88.99 and $89.87 amounts for what they said was the 2nd shipment. I told them to cancel any more shipments and they informed me that a 3rd shipment was already enroute. That 3rd shipment never arrived but my account was charged again for $88.99 and $89.87. They still owe me 3 credits and keep referring to the 1 they did credit me. When I tried to talk to them about this, they said my account had been frozen because I filed a dispute and they could not do anything more with it. Please help get this company shut down. They are very dishonest.
