In response to the complaint listed above regarding the D.R Horton [redacted] community: D.RHorton is currently reviewing all aspects of the complaint with our legal team and will respond as soon as possibleIn the complaint there is mention of plus customers that need warranty work and the conditions of the roadIn order to properly respond to the complaints, D.R Horton will research the mentioned and review the roads in [redacted] This complaint is not resolved; however, D.RHorton is going to every length to ensure we have adequately investigated and responded to the stated issues within the complaintPlease allow D.RHorton additional time to respond

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I appreciate that action is finally being takenHowever, I do not want to close the case until the issue is fully resolvedI am happy with the meeting on November 1st, but there are several things not fixed at this timeThank you Regards, [redacted]

· One of the three claims we received from was declined as not warrantable, which was regarding the cracks & gouges in the driveway as they are not covered under the [redacted] limited warranty provided to the customer No mention of the driveway is listed on the final walk through list that was signed off by the customer A Construction Superintendent will be reaching out to the customer soon to inspect the driveway stain per their request· A Work Order was sent to the electrician regarding the GFCI outlets in the kitchen who will schedule directly with the customer · No action will be taken on the sod as there is a 30-day warranty on new lawns per the warranty agreement

The city manager has been in communication with the customer and will be working with him to address his concerns

Dear [redacted] In response regarding complaint ID 10723104, Mr [redacted] met with our superintendent for the final walk on his new home purchase before closing on the same day just hours before closing During this time Mrand Mrs [redacted] told the superintendent that he wanted the HVAC unit switched out to a ton unit because of a home inspection report that he had requested on his new home suggested that the ton HVAC be replaced with a ton unit on this particular home The superintendent explained to Mr [redacted] that the HVAC unit could not be replaced because we had an engineered report stating that the HVAC unit installed was sufficient for the home We provided the report to Mr [redacted] realtor after the discussion at the final walk The realtor at that point after the discussion stated that since we were not going to replace the unit then they demanded a $20,price reduction or they were not going to close I asked the sales agent to tell the realtor that we would not be able to reduce the price of the home $20,We would have completed the other issues stated in the home inspection report before close but was never given the chance Mr [redacted] and his wife left with the realtor to discuss options The realtor representing the [redacted] called the sales agent and told her that they would not be moving forward with the purchase because we were not going to do anything for them They asked for the earnest deposit of $to be returned to them .The sales agents explained our policy to the realtor Mr [redacted] called me directly and asked me why he would not be able to receive the deposit back and I explained to him that we by contract give the earnest check back when there is a financing issue I explained to him that it is policy to give the earnest check back when the buyers are unable to obtain financing He asked me why again, and I explained to him per contract, we only return deposit money on a financing contingency SINCERELY, [redacted] Area Sales Manager, MS DR Horton Homes

DR Horton will agree to the following: Although the home is out of warranty and [redacted] are not the original homeowners, DR Horton will, as a sign of customer goodwill reinstall the kitchen sink, and reconnect the plumbing and the disposalDR Horton will warrant the installation of the sink for year from the date of installThe piece of wood noted in the picture was never there to support the sink, it was installed merely to hold the sink in place while the epoxy dried while still in the granite shopSincerely, [redacted] ***

I have reached out to Ms [redacted] today for an appt with us and [redacted] on Thursday, September 3rd I am waiting her confirmation for the appt [redacted] had to replace her floors right after she moved into the home, and now it appears that the glue has failed on her new floors [redacted] has offered to upgrade her flooring at no cost to her of course for her inconveniences We are trying to schedule this appt in hopes to bring closure to her issue regarding her floors Her and her neighbor have experienced the same problem, she is wanting the meeting to be with them together We have proposed for the meeting regarding her home to take place at her home so everyone involved can assess the issue she is having Thanks [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below Regards, [redacted] Hi, Sorry, I disagree that the popping noise is for a house that was built on The [redacted] blames the material used, drywall, wood, plumber, electrician, HVAC contractors as well as the extreme climate for the popping problems In other words it is not their fault It disappoints me that they point the finger at everyone and everything but themselves Sorry but, I have been in older homes here in the valley that do not have a popping problem I have had people who have visited my home and they are surprised and startled by the popping noise My Realtor who has lived here years and has brought serval homes in the valley has never had a popping noise problemThe popping is most prominent in the fall, winter and spring when the temps are moderateIt still pops in the summer months but not as often nor as loud I advised this to Kim C [redacted] prior to the [redacted] report Therefore, the extreme summer temps should NOT be a factor It is time for the DR Horton and the [redacted] to be good and respectable corporate citizens and admit they made a mistake and fix it Popping noise that wakes you up at night IS NOT NORMAL! Also, no from the [redacted] has ever been out to my house to actually investigate the problem Since the [redacted] designed the house it is their best interest to deny and point a finger to others I can only suspect that there are other Felten designs that have this problem therefore the cost to repair would be more that they care to be responsible for, therefore, it is in their best interest to say popping is "NORMAL" It is only "normal" for the [redacted] ***

The above referenced complaint is a manufacturer issue We have informed the homeowner of such and have assisted as far as we can with making contact on our end with both the installer and manufacturer rep We have begun a complaint at the manufacturer level and have given instruction to the homeowner on how to proceed We have also contact both the service manager and owner of the installation company as well as the local manufacturer representative and asked them to follow up and bring this to resolution for our customer It is now in their hands Thank you, [redacted] Customer Service Manager- Carolinas Division

In response to the claim filed to your office Inadequate or substandard finished a This home closed in and we do not have any open work orders in our systemI understand that Ms [redacted] was not happy that we would not paint on our month warranty, however that is our policy with all homeowners Dead Palm Tree a We do not warranty landscaping materialsIn the HOA documents it clearly state that in this area of Tuscany the HOA is only responsible for replacement of damaged materials in the common areas and that the homeowners are responsible damaged materials in their own yards
